I think they were talking/dating.

She had such a bright future.

And he did not.

What a terrible, terrible intersection.

Real tears for a girl we never met.

How awful that a friendly, ambitious, talented, youthful woman is gone at the hands of a man who got away with so much destruction. I hope Kada’s family and friends are holding one another tight tonight and in all of the days to follow. We need change. Moo.

It's out in the trees behind the broken up tarmac behind the school. Makes me wonder if he made a deal, or if they just found the body.

OMG are they bringing in a skid steer?

Did the spokesperson hint at others being involved?

LE speaking now.

Evidence led them back to that location.

Cleared away some brush.

Female.

Will not confirm identity at this time.

I think just careful language. They don't want to jeopardize a conviction.

A tip came in and brought them to this location. Anonymous.

Anonymous tip, very specific tip led LE to this location.

Per live coverage. 6abc

They shut down the police academy and used those 300 recruits to aid in their searches, Wow!

That's a big school. A previous video up thread showed at least one door open, so they would have likely needed to search the inside and outside.

I just checked about the reward which had risen to 12K on Friday. Thankfully it was "for credible information that leads to her safe recovery."
So the tip came from a good samaritan.

Where were they searching?

And to think they had him locked up once...

I feel for his past victims. No doubt terrified to testify against him. Monster threat.

DV or random crime, how can we better protect women?

Why does it come to this?

Did the spokesperson hint at others being involved?
He simply said he wants to be sure that the person they have and anyone else who might have been involved is prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Leaving it open in case there are more individuals involved.

I'm surprised they're allowing this present helicopter video. They're in the process of removing her.....people with shovels.
Reminds me of that awful video of Sandra Cantu being found.
Heartsick for her parents.

I am not victim blaming. Just stating the fact that when someone commits a crime and does not get prosecuted for whatever reason (and there are many reasons it can happen), then they are free to commit more crimes. Unless as a society we can find a way to protect victims so they aren't afraid to testify, make prosecutors actually go forward with cases that are not silver platter wins or keep perps in jail by not giving ridiculously low bail amounts, nothing is going to change, imo.
That the justice system thinks attempted murder deserves a lower sentence than actual murder, as an example, is part of the issue, imo. The offender is rewarded for failing to kill with a lighter sentence, when they intended to. These should have the same sentence. IMO, and as an example only. Some crimes just don't have a proper sentence. JMO.
