For those who missed the Arial search. It was in this area
Eta: I think. But it was in the trees back of the school. Edited again. I was correct the first time. Chopper footage below

It was behind the school, behind the broken tarmac, in the trees.
I saw a comment after she first went missing that wondered why LE had not gone there to search yet :(

Regarding the previous victim, bbm:

Krasner noted King being out on bail as a reason why the victim didn't appear in court.

"The reason they had to worry he was going to come out of the same door they went in the courthouse right after they testified against him is because he was on bail," said Krasner.

What a tragic update. I hope Kada's family have lots of support, as well as the perp's previous victim(s). I think a previous post also mentioned him having a child? I dread to think what he might have put that kid's mother through

What???? Remains not there more than a week????
I know, noticed that too. I guess that will be determined by the ME.

That could be wrong, or sadly could be correct. The remains may have been there less than a week because they were put there after it was thought to have been searched or she may have been alive for a time or they were moved from, say, inside the building or a trunk or another site to that grave. It doesn't mean the remains were only deceased for a week, though.

Such a devastating update , search areas imo aren't search meticulously enough ,hopefully post mortem will tell more . I sincerely hope that by not searching that specific area they didn't miss an opportunity to save her .

Death penalty would be too good for a perp like king

Trigger warning. Tarp covering remains visible, tarp being carried out at end.

Overhead chopper footage. Clear pan in to location at 30:13

MOO but I'm wondering if there might be someone else involved...
That they got a tip to an exact location makes me think someone else obviously at least knew about it.

I'm wondering if the location is his "lover's lane" spot, and someone who has been there with him on a date provided a tip??

Unfortunately Pennsylvania has a moratorium on the death penalty right now.

Edited to add link:

RIP and so sorry your dreams were cut short. I’m glad her family can lay her to rest. The not knowing has got to be torture on loved ones.

I'm late here to this sad news.
RIP Kada! You had high hopes. You were shooting for the stars.
Hugs to Kada's family and friends.
May justice be swift so that the family doesn't have to suffer much more.

Honestly, it seems like they should have covered every square inch of that place, inside and out including under trees. But she may have been strategically covered with leaf fall and other debris or rocks and unless you look really close, you might not notice. Or she may have been placed there after an initial search.

I can see why people might be upset that she was right there.

My thoughts are with those who knew and loved her. Such a sad outcome.

I'm surprised they're allowing this present helicopter video. They're in the process of removing her.....people with shovels.
Reminds me of that awful video of Sandra Cantu being found.
Heartsick for her parents.
I wanted to mention the camera crew was actually quite sensitive. Any time they got close to actually possibly viewing remains, the camera cut or zoomed in to the upper left so you could only see standing people. The one officer gathering evidence, her head disappeared every time she bent down to bag and tag something. So at least a sense of decency.
