Not a good sign when they ask for psychics help, imo. I know it doesn't hurt but it also leads one to believe they aren't any closer to solving this case which is really disheartening. They mention a case that is 20 years old and still unsolved.

Its my understanding (from reading the article) that the psychics approached Mr Stouffer and that the family nor LE sought them out ..

Yes. That's what psychics normally do. Rarely does a family or LE seek them out. They usually approach the victim's family.

I am new here---just discovered this board since I have become interested in this case. I live about 20 mins from her apartment--but know of the area because I work pt for Hershey...

I can't believe how quiet it has been around here in regards to this---actually I have felt that way since the beginning. As a mother of two---I would have been is absolute dismay to see the way the things have been handled in the public's eyes...Now I know we don't know what is going on behind the scenes..But IMO, I don't think it is much different.

Another thing I noticed is that people around where I am---near the Harrisburg city line are very rude--because as soon as posters/signs about Kortne were going up--they were coming down...It was weird because I swear there had been signs up for months about missing dogs that never got torn down--but these did.

As for the FB prayer page, I believe that it was put as private because there have been a lot of local pages that have had major issues with people spamming it and defacing it...We had a boy get hit/killed by a car here on Halloween last year and someone went on his Prayer page and put terrible things on it--along with calling his mother very horrible names...

I don't know how some people live with themselves! I'll never understand. I'm wondering if the folks taking down Kortne's posters have some affiliation with the suspects. Are there any prominent gangs in that area?

There definitely are some prominent gangs.. I mean if you do any research on the city--our lovely mayor just shut down an entire block of a street because of gang like fighting....

I just don't know how more people in the Palmyra area aren't speaking up, asking questions....thats what gets me...I think I'd be scared to go outside my house after it was dark--just because no one has actually come out and said that there was no reason to be feared that someone is on the loose.

Honestly I'm not even sure what to make of it and I'm not comfortable discussing it until we get something more solid from either MSM or LE.

i will start by saying that this is a victim friendly forum so im not suggesting anything bad about kourtne... but i want to ask if you are suggesting that the posters are being torn down due to something personal or someone in particular who may not like kourtne?

Thank you for saying this PalmyraDad. Yes, that is why we don't allow copy and paste of facebook comments because unfortunately most end up being rumors that grow huge legs.
