Wasn't really sure where to post this, but I thought it would be appropriate here as the trial goes on.
Arthur Baslice III was a beautiful young man with a loving family. He was a son, brother, father and friend. He grew up an all American boy playing sports, and going to dances and went to Catholic school like so many of us did.
Arthur died from an overdose at a young age. Way too young having his habit funded by a lousey
that not only groomed him but his entire family.
Although I didn't know Arthur personally I had met quite a few wonderful people that suffered the same fate he did which started thanks to a priest, a spiritual advisor, the ones we were taught to rever. If you pray please keep him in your prayers as this trial goes on, and give a voice to all those who have passed that never got to tell their story. They are many.

It's a nine page article and I remember reading it when it first came out and several times later and tears still fall. They fall.
The creep that gave this young kid money is sitting in prison why? Because he stole from the flippin church. Not for hurting young men. Nope. Stealing and keeping beautiful, kind young men right the h*ll where he wanted them.
Art's dad was a Philly Detective. Once again proving that these pedophiles don't care. They're good at what they do. Even our own police officer father's would have no idea. They have no fear pedophiles.
Sorry for the rant. It angers me a boy's father died at the age of 28 for God's sake.
