After over a year, the NamUs file of this Jane Doe has been modified. The number of exclusions remain the same - 68, but it says 69 because a missing person was added twice.
Lisa is on my list as well, along with many others. I think your theory is very plausible given her age regarding the marriage. It's so frustrating when there is so little information.
But I do think this is a very good one for comparison if there is enough information to include or exclude her. Might be worth someone attempting to get in touch with her daughter if possible.
Laurie Allison Smith The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) is high on my list as well.
I think it's incredibly likely she is not from the immediate area. Unless there is a specific reason she was not reported as a missing person (perhaps an immigrant, trafficked from another country, or an adult "runaway" ie: left an abusive relationship, etc.)
The jewelry is just so specific, I can't let it go. It had to belong to someone who is older or relatively well-off..
@SimsGuy67 could you make a comparison table for Laurie Allison Smith and Perry County Jane Doe? I would greatly appreciate it.I agree about Laurie. The jewelry is definitely collected over time and is unique/good quality. Also, in one of her pictures there is a ring. Very similar shape to the jewelry with the UID profile. Pictures are blurry, but...

Any idea what has been modified? Or is there just another contact-person?After over a year, the NamUs file of this Jane Doe has been modified. The number of exclusions remain the same - 68, but it says 69 because a missing person was added twice.
Nope, I have no idea. I'll look at the file againAny idea what has been modified? Or is there just another contact-person?
Caring noted the potential connection in the other thread a while back! I didn't see that until after we were posting. Thanks for submitting her!Bringing info over from MP Laurie Smith’s thread, post #92:

Hi Guys: I am new but I just want your opinion here. I found this pic on the web from Serial Killer Alcala and I'm thinking this looks a lot like Laurie....I could be wrong.www.websleuths.com
Wow, that was fast. Thank you for letting us know.Laurie Smith has been ruled out as Perry County Jane Doe; Laurie appears on the decedent's exclusion list.
Keeping this in mind, I found Pamela Harvey Rousseau. Sorry if she's already been suggested/excluded. Little is known about Pamela but what we do know lines up with Jane Doe. I find it weird that Pamela just left her son with a neighbor. I wonder if she did intend on coming home. Nothing in her disappearance really indicates foul play to me. The only thing that does is that she went missing decades ago. Maybe she met the wrong person along the way?Since isotope analysis suggested she's from the great lakes region, has anyone checked her information against people missing from Ontario? I know it might be a wild guess given she moved quite freely through the US, but I'm told the 70s were a different time (I wouldn't know - I wasn't there.)

Forgot to add the links. Thanks for reminding me!
Joyce isn't a rule-out for Jane Doe so it's always possible. Joyce was from the Great Lakes region, in an area kind of close to Canada. I find it strange as to why someone would travel so far to dump her body, if she was murdered.Has Joyce Alice Fisher been considered a possible match for the Perry County Jane Doe?
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
The physical description seems to match up pretty well, @SimsGuy67 would appreciate it if you could make a comparison table.

Wow! Thank you @othram for taking on this one! She's now an Othram case, her case is less than $2000 away from being fully funded.
Who is Perry County Jane Doe (1979)?
