I think he was in a Orphanage, foster home or institution of some kind because of his institution style hair cut,the blanket cut in half to possibly fit cots and the diagnostic dye in his left eye to possibly check for an ailment.I feel he was either just getting into an institution of some kind or about ready to be adopted out.I was thinking DHS or child welfare might have been involved at some point because I don't see with him being as malnourished and sick and ill with possible other medical conditions how they were not called in with this little boy at one time.

Still waiting to hear back from my friend. She is on night shift so prob currently sleeping. I would think an institution would be more likely than the dhs cover up/foster care angle. I'm still leaning towards the child's caregivers. Maybe he had a parent that was a doctor or had a private doctor that came to his home (was this common in the 50's?). I personally believe the little boy was from philly, Delaware, montgomery, or bucks counties. Bucks is closest to where he was found in terms of surrounding counties.

Just got off the phone with Ivy Hill Cemetary in Philadelphia, PA.
The woman on the phone told me The Vidocq Society gathers twice a year for a ceremony at the grave. This happens every November and February. She says the date in November is on or about the 11th. The date in Feb. is the 25th, the day he was found (by the cops). She also told me TVS just shows up and she could not give me a time. I will contact TVS and ask them for more specifics.

Thank You so much for finding out.You are so nice.I really want to try and go to this.Whether they are there are not.I was planning on going last year and got very sick in the hospital.I really want to try and go this year if I can.I might go for about 3 nights.I have friends in the area I stayed with when my son got married a few years ago.I would like to visit them and say hi too.I hope and pray he is Identified by the time I go.

Ok so my friend talked to her lieutenant and he told her to call homicide to find out. She says she texted her friend in homicide and he's checking to see if its assigned to anyone. So I will let you know (this was yesterday she told me this).

May I please ask does someone know or can find out what they are doing to find out who this little boy in the box is? Please let me know.

Bumping up again for him. Has anyone heard any new updates. His case makes me very sad.:grouphug:

May I please ask did you ever find out any more for sure if they were having a vigil for him and when. I would love to go if they are having one for him in February.

Ms Suzanne, I am continually inspired by your tenacity and unwavering vigilance for this sweet little boy. I hope you are rewarded one day soon and that we will all learn his name and he will finally be able to rest in peace. No one, especially a child, should die without a name or a life story- however brief. God bless you dear.

Thank You.

They could put his DNA in this data base and others and do isotope testing.I wonder what they would find. Can someone call LE and see if they will do this for him? http://dna.ancestry.com/

I know there are privacy issues with private DNA databases and they can't run his DNA.But they can do the isotope testing.

Sometimes I wonder if that test was done already but they don't want to release that info.

We have already suggested it through a group I am on.They cannot put his DNA in private Family DNA sites because of privacy issues. That's sad because I really do think he can be Identified that way.We have suggested isotope testing a few times through a few groups I was in a while back.I have never heard anything back if they will do this for him.Maybe if we can all just keep calling LE that will push them to do it.I do think it will help to find out where he was from to maybe help find out who he is.
Why not call (or email) LE to suggest isotope and family tree DNA sites?

It's very quiet with this little boy. Very sad.Does Has anyone heard anything about what happening in his case?
