Sorry for busting into thread. I'm nowhere near as good as you all with The Unidentified.

Our new member sandyanddanny I believe is on to something. Port Richmond was our Polish Neighborhood. Alot of folks have moved, but if you didn't come out everyday with your broom and clean your sidewalk you got the evil eye. Meaning everyone knew everyone.

This woman was possibly sent for like old time mail order brides? Hired for housekeeping? My own Ukranian neighbors do this. If done illegal or some guy sent for her from another country and hurt her then who would ID her?

Sadly, the only other thing I can think of is prostitution but the girls down by K&A or Lehigh Avenue wouldn't be in jogging outfits.

The gentrification is crazy moving up in places you couldn't get off the El stops there. Could she have went with the tide, and is from out of the country and stopped in California thus the bag? And thought it safe to jog from a gentrifying hood she moved to?

I'm busting in too, first time posting on this site! Just stuck to this case for Philly reasons (not that we don't have *many* missing people, unfortunately).

I work in public services and am all around Philly so I know there is still a substantial Polish population in Port Richmond; I actually know a family that moved from Poland last year. I don't know how closely knit newer residents are though ... though many come over bc of extended family. And if you're overstaying your visa ... There are large populations of newer Russian and Ukrainian immigrants but a bit farther Northeast (Bustleton, Somerton). Not on the Delaware but really not far ...

Here's where she was found from a very short clip on local news the week she was found: dd (Kensington basically flows into Port Richmond with drug problems, down E. Allegheny and the riverbank). It's industrial as you see. In the clip they say cause of death not yet known. But I can't find any later follow ups.

Re: the running/athletic clothing, unfortunately if you look at any of the Kensington Beach pages (just did) you can see lots of young women in more athletic clothes. Looking like suburban girls ... It's all really sad to see.

Basically the girls out there I see are getting on the El in sweats, and in summer the Tshirt tied in a knot in back to make it a belly top.

Wait. They "were" or "supposedly are" trying to build a trail for running and biking along the riverfront. Going from South Philly all the way up to I guess Linden Avenue.

Sadly I can't picture exactly where this poor woman was found. Closer to the Betsy Ross Bridge or Graffitti Pier. Like everything here this "trail" is sporadic. In the Wissinoming section it's kind of decent.

Again it was winter. Then we have the bag. Meanwhile all of this basically runs parallel with I95. Did someone get off 95 and toss her in the river? Get back on and head-on South?

Thinking out loud. She has a name. She is someone's daughter. Note: Betsy Ross Bridge not as heavily traveled as Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin or Tacony Palmyra.

We did find the Legal information and she was sentenced to 4 years to run concurrently with another sentence but on the last research it shows her status as WANTED - OUT OF CUSTODY. She is missing - but may be avoiding incarceration it is unclear at this point if that is the case. She does reportedly use the name Amber Leigh Peters as well as Amber Leigh Crouch. I added the latest available picture for her.

Is it the same person though? Look at the pic posted here a few posts up and look at Amber’s FB post from 11/10/20. Eyebrows are similar, but the noses look different and her forehead on the FB pic is double the height. I’ve got a big forehead too so no offense meant. But no way this is the same person unless she shaved her hairline back because there is a major difference.

It is the same person. She has old Facebooks with the same photos as well as the photo from the missing poster. She also has the same birthday.

IMO this could be a domestic violence situation where Jane Doe has no living relatives or is estranged from them. If this is the case it could be years more before she's reported missing.

I've read the whole thread by now. Must say it contains valuable information and what a wonderful recons all the artists on here made. Really great! I have one question. On page one there is something written about Jane Doe missing teeth. Missing Bottom-Front Tooth # 24 ??? Left Mandibular Central Incisor The link to the source doesn't seem to work. Does somebody has a new link to the source.

Also in the PMI picture it looks like her front teeth is chipped or she could have had something like a gap. Or is that her upper lip? It's very hard to see....

Somehow I see a resemblance with this girl....story doesn't add up, she was supposed to be pregnant. Only link in the file is a guy who probably killed two women in Pennsylvania.

In 2021, authorities stated Parlier had "links" to Harold Haulman, a suspected serial killer who has been charged with the murders of two young women in Pennsylvania.

Stats could fit:

• Missing Since 06/12/2005, From Battle Creek, Michigan
• Race White
• Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Parlier's teeth are crooked.
• Date of Birth 10/16/1983 Would have been approx. 36 in 2019
• Height and Weight 5'9, 100 pounds UID 5' 7"-5' 9"

According to her family Parlier is mildly mentally disabled and functions at the level of a twelve- to fourteen-year-old child. Just picked one of the recons to compare.
