The graying hair doesn't sit right, although some people get gray hair in there early twenties. Stress is an important factor in that.

Also mentioned is that Mackenzie has scars on her wrists, arms and legs, although other sources say the cut marks are shallow. Nothing about that mentioned for Jane Doe.

Mackenzie disappeared from Schofield, Wisconsin on October 11, 2015; she was last seen at her home, and vanished during the night of October 10-11.

Authorities believe she left of her own accord; she had run away twice before and each time was found with her friends. Since her disappearance, her family and friends haven't heard anything from her.

Although Mackenzie's parents wouldn't allow her to have a cellular phone and they monitored her internet usage, after her disappearance, they discovered she'd been talking online with strange men and using apps to hide her activity from her family. Her case remains unsolved.

If she was hiking or collecting something, such as shells or mushrooms I can see why she would tie the bag to her person. Those are just examples. What would someone collect nearby?
bottles, cans, cigarette buts, food ?

That is great news! But also, my sympathies go to you and your family. Nobody wants this as a result, but at least now you have some answers. :(

According to one of Amy’s Youtube videos, her father, James P. Hurley, was a cofounder of the Weeksville Heritage Center in Brooklyn, NY.

The sad answer is no, she lived a nomadic lifestyle and would leave for years at a time. She was troubled and had various mental issues. :(

Yes. My uncle Pat (James) was a historian who unfortunately passed away. (Fortunately before knowing Amy passed).

We have a "different" family to say the least. Amy had many issues she was dealing with during this time period. We don't know the specifics of her passing or surrounding events. Nonetheless, we are working with the proper authorities to figure that out. Will keep everyone posted. Thank you again

Thank you so much for the information!
I am very sorry for your loss and to find out in such way.
She seemed to have been such an educated lady who deeply cared about arts, the enviroment and other worthy cases. As you said she had her own demons to battle.
She is at peace now.
I wish you and your family and everybody who knew and loved her all the strength in the world. HUGS
