A more complete group of estate documents was posted several months ago: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7_atAFvowRhOF9uTzgtNTFCYkk/view

One thing that is confirmed by the document is that Gricar's total estate was less than $25,000. Note that it was reported that RFG had his daughter's name on the accounts, so half of what was in any bank account would not be part of his estate. In other words, he could have had as much as $50 K in his account(s). Further, his daughter would have legitimate expenses as his administrator over those 6-7 years that it took to wrap up the estate. The less than $25 K figure would not be the amount of money in RFG's name on 4/15/05.

N.B.: This does not include his pension or any life insurance.

If Ray did plan his disappearance, he could have been squirreling away small amounts of cash for years, in which case a review of his financial documents might not reveal much.

And if he had been placing funds and securities in an overseas account to avoid taxes or other reason, after 911 he may not have been able to bring it back here.

Now, in 2001 RFG divorced his second wife, EG. There was a liquidation of some assets. It would possible for RFG to have moved a fair amount of money out of the country before that. RFG is the one that filed, so he controlled the time.

One scenario is that RFG moved assets overseas so they would be sheltered in the case of a divorce. The divorce was filed in either March or April of 2001 and didn't become finalized until July or August of 2001. It would be possible that RFG could not get it back and that he walked away to his money (after making sure his daughter and girlfriend were well taken care of).

He had no interest (or other income) from any single source of more than $1,600 in 2004 and 2005.

Some issues with the money going overseas (assuming Ray went to the money):

1. Was it substantial enough to live out his life without need for the pension?
2. Depending what county the money "may" have gone to, the cost of living could be somewhat less or much more than in the Bellefonte PA.

The first one, the answer could, and would, likely be yess. The question would be how money her had after his second divorce. Keep in mind that his second wife worked and was an optician (not a low paying job).

His first wife made about double what RFG was making as DA.

For the second, I'm looking at Southeastern Europe, but the some very nice Central American countries that stable and cheap, Belize.

Remains are at least two years old. Kortne Stouffer has been missing for more than four years.

It will be interesting. Chances are it is related to one of the PA threads.

Maybe not. Remains found Centre County in the late 2000's were Native American and 600 years old (or, as I said at the time, my relatives).

Ironically, these were found near the site of a 1934 a multiple child murder.

Cumberland County has a lot of history, and, therefore, a lot of remains.

Been looking hard at Google Earth as of late at the small patches of woods on the far side of the river from Lewisburg. Obviously the best time to search a section of woods, from a Forensics point of view, rather than a Emergency Search point of view is when the vegetation and poisonous plants are dead or at least not as much a risk. There are not a heck of a lot of woods over there and the section along the river is privately owned and posted from my initial research. Trying to see if I can get access to the small patches behind buildings on the far side of Rt 405. Of interest is the old railroad bed that goes from the remains of the bridge across the river, crosses Rt 405 and runs between new and old Rt 45 until it curves and meets up with the still operating rail near Fisher Alley. Along that route is a few small bodies of water that seem to be associated with a quarry and a large section of woods. All accessible for a person on foot walking across either the rail bridge or the Rt 45 bridge. If there are not any "No Trespassing" signs, the worst they can ask me to do is leave. Might be an interesting day hike.

IIRC, the rail bridge is blocked with a barrier.

The old rail road right of way does not appear to be posted from what I've seen from Google Earth. The area around the quarry might be posted.

For some reason this case haunts me. I can't believe he just vanished into thin air.

Two problems:

1. According to the police, there was no reference to Sandusky in anything RFG had.

2. Jeffry's alleged crimes took place in 2013; RFG vanished in 2005.

How long did this person work at the prison JJ ?( Rockview)
