If I recall correctly, John referred to the garotte as a "professional" garotte. To me, it appeared to be quite an amatuer devise. But, I don't know a thing about garottes. John must if he can apply the word "professional" to describe it.

It WAS amateur. And JR knew it. He said that to make it seem like no one in HIS family would have known how to make it!

It wasn't even a working garotte. All it was is a long cord tied around her neck, and one wrist, and then wrapped around a broken paintbrush.

Yes, its interesting that is it not? Wonder if he came out with that remark prior to or after his prayer meeting with Lou Smit, on June 6, 1997, who also would later describe the garrote as professional, implying it was the tool of a seasoned predator, applied for deviant motives.

Yes, the powerful foreign dude probably works for an alien (not a US resident), so it was an ALIEN ABDUCTION GONE WRONG.

I don't know,but my bet would be on Smit.JR had to have some material for DOI.He either thought it up or got it from somewhere.Just like the stun gun nonsense,which was Smit's idea.(which JR also used in the book).But the first I heard of it was when he wrote it in DOI.

But neither Smit nor JR ever address the issue of the too large underwear.Nor do they address that lone piece of tape on her mouth,which apparently was pretty flimsy at best.
But I don't think an intruder would bring tape w. him at all...not inside an occupied residence when the residents were asleep...tape makes a noise when it's torn..(unless he counted on finding scissors within the home..pls tell me he did that...lol).Plus hair and fibers can stick to it,and it can get twisted and sticky in the process of trying to put it on someone..esp. if she were to wake up and fight it.I think an intruder would have brought a cloth gag along.Something large enough to go through her mouth and around her head.It's the only thing that makes any sense.

THere's no doubt they had some inside info. After all, they knew JR's name and claimed to know his business enough to respect it. You can't refute the AAGW theory simply by saying JBR didn't have international exposure. BTW I don't know who goes to kiddie pageants.
