Precious time?? Intruders had up to TWO HOURS with JBR in the basement.

Yes, and IN those TWO hours...John or Patsy could have gotten up to check on JB and found her NOT in her bed. So, what do you think they would have done, then? Crawled back into bed and went to sleep? Not hardly, they would have looked for her...EVERYWHERE...yes, including the basement...where she would have been with the intruder(s)...sitting there with them eating pineapple. That would have looked just a "little" suspicious, don't you think? So...YES..they wasted precious time. That time could have been better spent with her in the car...AWAY from her home and family, not in the basement of her house. Who kidnaps a child, and takes them to ANOTHER room in their OWN HOME anyway? That makes absolutely no sense at all.

In one of your posts, you stated that you believed that they took her there to "figure out what to do with her". Why not take her to the getaway car and do that? HUH? Kidnappers do not take a child to ANOTHER room in the house, to figure out what to do with them. "Gee...I just kidnapped this child..and I have absolutely no idea what to do next, maybe I should have planned this out just a little bit better. Until I figure out what to do, I will take her from her bedroom and take her to the basement..and grab this bowl of pineapple in the fridge and feed it to her. I wouldn't want her to be hungry now...while I figured out what to do with her".   AND....

Good question.

So why don't you answer it...along with those other many questions that I keep asking, and you keep avoiding?

You also keep stating that the Ramsey's were not charged with anything. That means absolutely nothing...I have two words for you...OJ Simpson.
You obviously didn't watch the "48 Hours" 10 Year Anniversary JonBenet Special, where it was stated that there is a WHOLE WAREHOUSE full of evidence that has NOT even been gone through, yet. What is WRONG with this picture??

  • #483
Why? Were they transporting her to a place where there would never be food available again? Or did they think a 6 year old's desire to nosh a bit would overtake her UTTER TERROR at being kidnapped and she's say "OK, since I may never see my parents again, may as well have that pineapple" !

Yeah, there is NO way that she would have went along with that. Holdon must think that JB REAAALLLLLYYYY loved pineapple, to have gone with someone that she didn't know down to the basement, with her parents sleeping...to eat a bowl of it. Pineapple is good...but not THAT good.

I think you're deliberatly avoiding the issues of what a long-term kidnapper of JBR would need to transport her out of state by car on a dark cold winter's night. And how a blanket, cord, and tape fit this scenario.

HUH? I am not avoiding anything...you are...Why don't you answer those questions that I asked you a few posts back..the post that you said had too many questions? I would be happy if you would just answer one of them...pick one and answer it.

Why are you so hung up on what a "long term kidnapper of JBR would need to transport her out of state by car on a dark cold winter's night"?
According to you, the kidnapper's would need a blanket. WHY? Why should they care if she is cold or not? They are kidnapping (possibly killing) her...not taking her for a ride to look at Christmas lights. I give you the cord and tape, though..that does fit a kidnapping scenario. It also fits a Patsy flew into a rage and accidently harmed her daughter...and then staged a crime scene scenario, too.

Cord, tape, blanket, AND pineapple ALL fit a kidnap by car scenario. Blanket and pineapple just don't fit a parental staging. Lets face it, 'lovingly wrapping like a papoose' is just a hysterical suggestion, when arguing the point that the parents staged a brutal sexual assault and murder.

So the evidence makes more sense for IDI but not RDI.

No, but en route they would not stop. Did you really expect JBR to go on a hunger strike after hours of not drinking?

  • #488
The cord was shoestring-like...a real KN would have brought along something thicker and more durable.Patsy had to use whatever she had at hand.
Also, the blanket(s) were JB's.The housekeeper knew that.No KN's brought them along. And it was PATSY'S arm hair found on one of the blankets.
And Patsy admitted buying the pineapple at the grocery store,Safeway.(I believe the rest of it was found in the fridge? Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.)Her fingerprints were on the bowl. That pineapple matched, right down to the rind, what was found in JB's stomach.Thomas didn't have to retract that statement from his book.If that were false,he'd have had to.
No intruder brought the pineapple and the blankets with him.Much less that thin cord, and the 3/4 inch tape that wouldn't be able to keep a mouse quiet. Please, get real.

frightened little children are rarely ever hungry.

Nor are 'zonked' children who've been up all day long. They will, however, eat a bedtime snack,if it's not too late. The R's didn't get home all *that late that night, according to the witnesses.

Seriously, Holdon, she's only 6 - you could coerce her silence and cooperation by threatening her or someone she dearly loves in a calm, quiet whisper.

That's how molesters manage to victimize children when the family is home, maybe even with Mother right down the hall in the kitchen finishing dishes. Little Susie or Billy could certainly scream and flail and attract attention, but they stay quiet because the adult victimizing them has manipulated them into silence and secrecy, usually with threats and fear of retribution.

This SFF had all of the advantage - they could get right in the house and right to JonBenet's bedside without waking up the rest of the family...how much harder is it to clap your hand over her mouth and start threatening her with nightmare images of what will happen to her (or someone like Mommy) if she doesn't obey every word she's told?

And how hard is it to get in, get the kid, and get out of the house without stopping to molest and/or kill the ransom victim? In the door/window, up the stairs, down the stairs, out the door, into the night. This SFF couldn't do anything right...

And why couldn't they make a drive-thru stop at McDonald's and pick up a Happy Meal and have it all laid out like a little picnic in the backseat for JonBenet, if they cared that much about whether her tummy was full or not?

Unbelievable.

Kidnappers only care if the ransom victim starves to death - they don't care if she isn't getting a fruit snack before they whisk her off...and when the victim is a six year old girl, they don't need tape and cord and a blanket and maybe even a stun gun to get her from her bedroom to the car, just a vivid imagination and a convincing tone of voice.

great,NP.I agree.
Also, what KN would have a fridge in the car? Pineapple needs to be kept cold.A KN could get any kind of snack that doesn't need to be refrigerated. How would they even know she liked it? Plus,it was there in the home..they didn't bring it in.So we are supposed to believe they looked in the fridge and decided she would like to have some of it?

Why don't you check out how John says she was wrapped on YouTube.

I don't think JR is arguing the parents staged a sexual assault and murder, do you? Maybe try reading my post again?

She may have been wrapped like a papoose, but probably to be carried to a car, not as RDI repeats over and over again that it was a parent who wrapped her. Wrapping her goes completely against the RDI staging principal, doesn't it?? Of course, RDI is inherently self-contradictory. And I'm sure thats because its wrong.

You're kidding, right? SFF travels all the way here to 'negotiate' with a 6 year old, talking to her, relying on their hand over her mouth not slipping? Thats beyond ridiculous. Thats like negotiating for money thats not yours at the bank.

RDI always portrays intruders as misfits. "Oh it would be so easy to have done it this way..." I never claimed intruders weren't. In fact, virtually anyone who victimizes children are going to be misfits of one sort or another. I'm not sure you'll ever get rational reasonable out of the intruders actions.

Thats why the kidnapper needed pineapple, so JBR wouldn't starve during 1 or 2 days in the car. Nobody's 'pulling into McDonalds' because the perps would've also been planning on an APB/amber style alert for JBR. Or are we RDI-forgetting that.

I would have made a few peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches if I were planning to kidnap a child and felt I needed to feed them. Pineapple wouldn't be what I would think of first. If you wanted to go through a drive-through, put the kid in the trunk for few minutes or cover her with that blanket.
As far as that "papoose-style" blanket- we really don't know that for a fact- we have only JR's word for that.
I have not seen were FW claimed this was the case when he followed JR into the WC.

Since I'm IDI, I get to take R testimony at face value, without doubting it. So the papoose wrap makes sense in IDI for transporting JBR from house to car, and for in the car itself.

And, if there was more pineapple in a bowl that the R's don't remember preparing, then that might indicate an intruder's original intention to feed JBR more pineapple from the bowl. One piece of pineapple isn't going to last JBR for an interstate road trip.

the R's don't seem to recall much on the important matters...selective memory problems,it seems.how would they know how much was in there if they can't seem to recall preparing it anyway?
Again,an intruder would have needed a fridge in the car...so why not just get some room temp. snacks?? what did 'they' do..go to the R's fridge and guess that JB liked pineapple???

I suspect that may be part of why ST didn't insert JR into the PDI scenario...FW is holding back on what he knows until if and when the right moment in court ever comes, and Thomas didn't want to reveal what he has to say,and rightly so..so I theorize that's why he left JR out of the Patsy did it scenario. That may be one reason anyway.

She didn't eat pineapple in the car, remember?? I hate to tell you this...but JOHN himself said "lovingly wrapped like a papoose". We didn't make that up. Only a parent would wrap lovingly..like a papoose. He said that it was like she was being tucked in. I am quite sure that those intruders had never tucked her in before....but her parents had.

Have you read any of the interviews??
