Maybe So
The one and only
I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me. If you lived with an autistic child, and could have saved this child from a lifetime of issues, you would never make that statement. It is devastating for the child to live with, and heartbreaking for the family.
Personally, I do not have a real feel for or against vaccines causing autism.
I have read too many conflicting studies and haven't made up my mind.
I do know that if I knew my child were at risk, I would never allow the vaccine.
Yes it does make sense.... overall not getting immunized is more Dangerous than getting immunized. You are basing what you think on hindsight. You can't go back and redo it. At the time you didn't know your child would be the one. You made the right choice. Of course if you could do it over knowing what you know now you wouldn't have your child immunized but most people aren't making this decision knowing if their child will get autism. They are facing the decision without knowing what will happen. They are weighing the unknown risks against the known risks and for the majority immunizations are the right way to go.
Without vaccines hundreds of kids who are healthy would be in their graves right now, blind right now, crippled right now......
And I didn't mean I would get my child vacinated if I knew he would get autism. I meant that I would still immunize knowing their was the slight risk compared to the greater risk of the other diseases.
