Pastor of mega church says wife has gone away for 1 year...

Was reading some comments on this story and the article was posted on a non-msm website which is a discussion forum for all types of current events and other topics.

One poster says this is her home church and that her mom who is a member of the church says that Hope recently got a very large sleeve tattoo over her entire arm. She said the church pulls in about 165,000 each Sunday and that Ron is always preaching about needing that money to keep the lights on in the church. She thought it odd that he had refused to take the money offering that day and that some feel that there must be some sort of scandal that will be revealed which must be bad since they are revealing it first to try and do some damage control.

(My note: Remember how Jesse Jackson Jr went into a mysterious treatment place suddenly and then it was revealed that he and his wife had misappropriated (stole) campaign funds (I think) to buy things like Michael Jackson collectibles, expensive furs and clothing and other luxury items.)

It is also reported that Friday or Saturday Hope came out and asked her followers and church family to pray for her because she was going through a rough time. By Sunday evening her personal twitter account was deleted and then her image, name and person was SCRUBBED from their website.

So I wonder if it is a money thing and that she is being set up to take the fall with her "illness". He can't take the fall or he would lose his church. So she takes the fall, he plays the innocent injurured and righteous party so he keeps the church and he pays her off? Or just sets her up and uses this as a way to rid himself of her. Who knows?

But yeah, there is way more going on than being revealed. i just wish we knew what.

I knew what the third child's name was and since it was a name I was not familiar with and since the only picture I had seen of the child (from 5 or 6 years ago) looked like a boy (tomboy maybe) to me, I guess I assumed wrongly that they had 3 boys. Oh well.

Remember she and the middle one are likely minors. I don't think its wise to use their names here, and definitely not wise to sleuth them and post about it.

What an ugly, megalomaniac, self-ingratiating beast of a 'man'. Am I missing his pain and anguish over how Hope's actions have affected their children? All I've noted is. "Me, me, me!!". That he has found so many sheeple worshipers has only fed his narcissism. I would not be surprised if he married Hope because after her abusive home life growing up, he felt her an easier target, an easier woman to keep in line. Maybe Hope finally found a voice and this disgusting thing objected.

Per his statements about Jesus not forming friendships with his followers and that being an important distinction, bs! What Bible is he reading? Jesus clearly felt a close bond of brothers with his disciples. His statements that he couldn't and can't form friendships because of his "extraordinary" (my sarcastic word) gift speaks volumes toward the disgusting narcissistic attitude he unabashedly flaunts.

By the way, I have not heard back from the Greenville, SC sheriff's department regarding my request for a well person check. I contacted them because that's the county his church is in and I thought their home may be in the same county or at the very least, perhaps someone would be familiar with his name and church, hopefully not a sheeple.

If I were just guessing, and from seeing him in the one video, I'd assume they're both on drugs and free wheeling with spending church money. They probably PO'd a really wealthy member or got caught by some other preacher like the one who followed and taped Jimmy Swaggart.

Dear goodness, I hope that isn't true (that she's been scrubbed from the site) because it scares me even more for her safety, now if she's alive and in the next year if she has not voluntarily left to seek treatment .

How did she make an appearance this weekend if her children went to see her? Or why would they go see her if she was there making an appearance? Can it be verified if Hope's family put that out there or is it what Ron says they said or linked to an online posting where the identity of who posted it can't be verified?

Actually that something horribly unimaginable happened approximately one week after she posted that as she has allegedly been "in treatment" for three weeks now (according to him yesterday).

Therefore it is even more bizarre that she would schedule a conference if she was going through this "crisis".

In his speeches he talks about the first 12 or so (can't remember exact) years of their marriage being like a fairy tale and says they never had a fight and then she changed. The people that I know that struggle with mental illness have done so most of their lives. I really don't know anyone where it has surfaced later in life with no signs before, unless they experienced some sort of trauma.

This is "one" of the reasons why I question his story about her mental health.

Hope was growing as a person. She was becoming more self assured and needing Ron less. We hear that 'congregants' haven't seen her more then 6 Sundays over the last year. I personally think that is because Ron didn't want her there to express her personal views she was 'growing' into.

Someone else posted she was suppose to hold a conference/meeting next week.

Supposedly, she has been in treatment for three weeks. Why would you schedule a meeting when you knew your life was falling apart?

What does not make sense to me is that if she has been in treatment for 3 weeks, how would the families have spent time 'talking to her' for 45 hours on Tuesday??
NO treatment center or Psychiatric facility would allow that!!!

I think it's all about money. ( I posted this theory a day or two ago).

I've seen a few of his vids as much as I can watch, which is usually about 10 mins. worth and he has extremely dry mouth. I've been wondering about drugs since I noticed it.

IF I was married to the jerk, I'd be Benzo-ed and boozed up all the time just to stand to hear him, much less look at him or have him touch me. The thought makes me sick.

I hope she's with friends somewhere and he has no idea where, but I doubt she has her own stash of money to do anything. Controlling men control by withholding money first of all. Next, they criticize every little thing and start the blame game. I know the mindset of controlling men. Hate it. :banghead:

It will really be refreshing to me if it turns out that 1) Hope is safe and 2) Hope isn't pulling a mega-Ron scam with him.

She is supposedly out of state. Someone that has jurisdiction over state lines would probably need to be called. I'm blank right now as to which agency would be most appropriate to handle this.

I thought that but figured their local jurisdiction would be the best place to start and for now, it's the only place to start since we don't even know what county she is in in Texas. My reasoning was law enforcement would have to go to him to request information about where she is and if he refuses to be specific so they can notify the appropriate local or federal agency, to verify, then hopefully it would serve as a huge red flag and raise their alert levels.
