Patsy Ramsey is close to death

You very well could be right about the lump. With Patsy, I've become so used to most of her actions being about her (which is where I draw my conclusions).

So what do you think? Is it going to come out after she dies? Who do you think will tell? I wish this was one case that could be solved.

Interesting developements. I also watched the news regarding Helgoth and thought it was a load of crock! Random burglaries yet this guy and his accomplish spent hours in the Ramsey home concocting a fake kidnapping.

:boohoo: Too bad for Patsy. Maybe she'll confess. It will be interesting to watch what happens to John Ramsey once Patsy is gone.

Do I feel one bit of sympathy for two parents who did NOTHING to help catch the murderer of their daughter? NOPE. Did they do it? Don't know. But the new spin on this theory, that according to NEW detectives on this case that it would take 6 months to catch this so called accomplice of Helgoths is laughable.

I believe what Steve Thomas wrote....and I think he is a very courageous man for doing so(if only there could be more people like him in this world). He put his life on the line for JonBenet...this is something her parents didn't even do. I also think there are a lot of people who have sold their souls to the devil over this. In the beginning I was convinced that John was involved, but I think not. I think he found the body earlier in the day (which is why he told his other kids that JBR had been found earlier than she was). I believe Burke holds the keys to the kingdom, and I believe he is going to resolve this...one of these days.

This has been a very long and sad road for Burke. Now that he's off at college, I think he's going to eventually spill the beans....a beer or two at a party will probably get the ball rolling. Or else, he'll confide in someone. I have ALWAYS felt so sorry for Burke. He lost his life that same night that JonBenet did.

I've also wondered if after Patsy passes, that John will come forward and tell what happened. I don't know if he knew it back then, or even now for that matter, but maybe Patsy will confess before she goes. If John could come forward with the truth, it would set him and Burke free. If John didn't have anything to do with the killing, and didn't know until recently, then how could this be held against him? Also, I can honestly see neither him nor Patsy discussing any of the events with Burke since that night (all those years ago).

I have no real clue what happened (or if the R's were invloved), but I do know that not much of what they have said adds up. There are just too many inconsistant things they have said over the years. And how about finding the killer? Do you suppose the killer hangs out in Grand Cayman (I've been collecting beer cans for a year or so, so maybe we'll see her in GC when we are there this winter)? They have done nothing...similar to OJ.

I, however, do not think a confession will ever be made. I don't think Burke knows very much and John will never do anything to cause embarrassment to his family. Why would he want to put himself through that grief?
I am not very hopeful this case will be solved-too much time, too little cooperation, too much politics, and too many mistakes made. Barring a miracle, little JonBenet's murder will go unsolved.

You could very well be right....I think as time goes along, the chances get smaller and smaller that the truth will be told. I'd like to think someone would do the right thing...besides Steve Thomas.

I don't think Burke actually knows exactly what happened, but I think he heard things that night, that would certainly point the finger in a certain direction. I think it's possible he heard an argument or something along that line. He may even have saw something...who knows.

As for John being embarrassed...well, if he were to come out and say Patsy confessed to him (on her deathbed-if she did indeed to it), and he had no knowledge, then what could people say? He (and his family) could move on. He'd hardly be the first person married to a killer that didn't know what's going on...look at Paula Rader, no one blames her for the monster she married.

I guess my posts are more wishful thinking...yours makes more sense, and will probably be what happens. It's really quite sad. Poor little JonBenet.

I agree the truth will never be told, the only way it will come out is if the brother now tells it or if Patsy loses her senses on her death bed and spills the beans. I am not saying she did just that imo she knows what happened.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I read the National Enquirer (always taking it w/ a grain of salt no doubt), but I just picked up a copy of the September 12, 2005 issue yesterday, and on Page 48 - there is 3/4 of a page about Patsy - the title of the story is: JonBenet Mom Given Just Months to Live. There are 2 photos - 1 of JonBenet and another of Patsy at a 1997 press conference.

As we reported exclusively in May, Patsy began a new, desperate battle for life after the ovarian cancer she'd beaten three times then returned and spread to her adrenal glands and brain. Now loved ones believe that Patsy, 48, is losing her fight. "Sadly, the end is near", said a family friend who visited Patsy at a Charlevoix, Michigan area hospital near where the Ramseys have a home. "Her husband John told us that she maybe had a few months - but that was being optimistic. Paty's very frail. She was on a morphine IV drop to control the pain and she was not speaking lucidly." "Friends visited her all the time to try to keep her spirits up - but the reality is she's dying. The cancer has spread throughout her body. Her hair is gone and when we visited she was wearing a wig with a scarf over it." The friend said in late August Patsy left the Charlevois hospital and prepared for John to fly her in his private plane to Atlanta. There, doctors planned yet another grueling chemo treatment. "They're using chemo she's had in the past wtih success and tweaking it a little in the hope that it will have the same effect", said the friend. "It's a last, desperate hope. John told friends, 'At this stage we're willing to try anything'". According to the friend, son Burke, 18, has spent hours at his mother's bedside. Said the friend "I don't think he's accepted what's going to happen and John is just trying to stay strong for Patsy's sake and for Burke's." The Ramsey's are even considering the possibility of Patsy moving to a local hospice during her last days. "She wants to be buried in the same graveyard near Atlanta where JonBenet and her mother lie," said a family source. Six year old beauty queen JonBenet was found garroted to death in the wine cellar at her millionaire parents' home in Boulder, CO the day after Christmas 1996. Calls for comment to the Ramseys' attorney were not returned.

Patsy knows that in order to see JonBenet or anyone else she must confess her sins. That is the ticket to Heaven.

Come on, I don't believe Patsy's guilty in the first place, and she would only have to confess to God Himself, in private. Not even to a priest. In one of the movies about Nazi Germany, a woman was executed by them because she confessed something to what she thought was a priest, but he was a Nazi in the Confessional.

There's a lesson in that. I will consider it another injustice, if she dies before she's exonerated. It was so unfair for people to heartlessly jump to the conclusion she'd kill her beloved daughter she so identified with.

She may suspect who the killer was, judging by the Patricia letters and her saying, "We didn't mean for this to happen", but can't prove it, and would be sued or something happen to another loved one if she even voiced the opinion. Both parents would be feeling guilt for having JonBenet's bedroom so far from theirs, and just maybe for having let her go with someone or spend time with someone they trusted too much. They might be too ashamed of their stupidity, also afraid of being sued, to admit it.

Well, I can honestly say I like the part of your post that I have quoted. Very well thought out. This part of your post tells us a great big bunch " "We didn't mean for this to happen." I had many times reflected on this little tidbit, on what exactly was meant or thought by PR, when she said it.

I am puzzled by your thought Eagle1 on just WHO would sue the R's, if PR knew WHO DID IT. This part of your post "They might be too ashamed of their stupidity, also afraid of being sued, to admit it."

I am puzzled because my BIG suspect has ticket stub alibi's. Eagle1, who is your BIG suspect IF you think they would sue the R's?

JUST which plane is the plane they refer to? Is this a plane that JR had in 1996 as well? How fast does this one go? MJenn are you reading here, pm me if you are I will protect your identity, if you have a new hat. WE spent so many moonlight hours on this case.

DA plane, Da plane has my head a going again. Wonder WHO flies this plane now, since, JR supposedly was no longer flying since his eyeballs were not too good, quite a few years ago. He sold the other one that he had done speed improvements to. JR bragged in DOI that THAT plane was the fastest one of its make and model AFTER he made the improvements. Since MJenn and I figured out it went fast enough to make that trip in the middle of the night from here to there, taking someone outta Dodge, to 'pertect' them.


Then of course WE have JAR speaking in the magazine interview, when asked what should happen to JBR's killer, he said something to the effect that the killer should be forgiven. Correct me IF I err on my remembrance.

Let all the prime suspects die in their own time, many secrets have gone to the grave with those people who made major misjudgements and emotional mistakes in their life. Amen.

Eagle....I never "heartlessly" jumped to any conclusions. I've spent many years on this case and it is just my opinion that Patsy is responsible for JonBenet's death.
