Anyone heard anything about her current status?

Hope of what? That she will confess? Don't hold your breath - you will explode!Eagle1 said:Hopefully this means there's still hope.
It says we shouldn't leave this world without settling our debts. I take that to mean that we shouldn't leave any unfinished business behind...ask for forgiveness where needed and give forgiveness where needed. That would include the public that has become so wrapped up in little JB's life and tragic death. Patsy needs to settle her debts. She needs to tell what really happened that night. Even if she leaves it behind to be done afterwards. It is her call how she does it. The only important thing spiritually is that she does it.Seeker said:I don't believe that. It doesn't say that in the Bible either.
According to her faith all she need do is ask God for forgiveness...
Confession was the church's way of finding out peoples dirty little secrets so it could be used against them IMO.
Come on. Rigor mortis had set in. The child was stiff as a board. Who would pick up their child in that condition without totally losing it? The instant he tried to pick her up and realized how stiff she was, you'd think his first reaction would be to lay her back down and get authorities down there. That whole scene of carrying her upstairs at arm's length away from him is just sooooooo dramatic. Then Patsy throwing herself on top of her rather than trying to cuddle her in her arms. How much more drama could they have put into it? It so obviously was created to explain any forensics that might have connected either of them to the body. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it is my opinion after all I have heard and read on the case.hollyjokers said:I'm impressed that you have such control over your emotions. By the grace of God I have never found myself in that type of situation, but I think my impulse on seeing my beautiful daughter in such obvious trauma would be exactly what John did. I don't believe my first thought would be crime scene preservation, it would be get her upstairs, get her help now. It was the BPD's mistake in letting JR search the house unaccompanied.

That's a good point.txsvicki said:If John didn't know that JonBenet was deceased, I find it odd that he would move her at all. For all he knew, she was injured, obviously not conscious, and moving an injured person could cause more harm.
I agree. It is out there, just like a lot of their behavior in the following months. I realize they wanted to protect themselves, but you'd think their first concern would be in catching the killer. They didn't seem to be real motivated in that dept.HeartofTexas said:And don't let's forget all of the commotion that was created by John bringing JonBenet's body upstairs... and did Patsy get up off the chair she was sitting in to see what was going on? Nooooo. She continued to sit there in the chair because she KNEW JonBenet was already dead. And, when she did finally go in there to see JonBenet, she went into some inappropriate and loud Lazarus speech and then laid across her daughter's body, all the while wailing and preaching. It doesn't get much more bizarre than that.

She isn't close to deathBuzzm1 said:I'm sorry to hear that Patsy Ramsey is close to death. That family has been through the ringer. Hopefully she will be going to a far more peaceful place.
Thanks for updating me, Linda7NJ; I was just going by the title of the thread. Incompetent police work at the very beginning of this case, caused an irreconcilable situation that managed to leave a very bad taste in everyone's mouth. It's too bad for everyone concerned.Linda7NJ said:She isn't close to death
Actually, y'all got some good points there.HeartofTexas said:And don't let's forget all of the commotion that was created by John bringing JonBenet's body upstairs... and did Patsy get up off the chair she was sitting in to see what was going on? Considering that John's first thought was to get his airplane engine fired up and headed out of Boulder that very day, I would say with great emphasis they were NOT too motivated to find the real killer.I agree. It is out there, just like a lot of their behavior in the following months. I realize they wanted to protect themselves, but you'd think their first concern would be in catching the killer. I wouldn't bet the farm on that one.Buzzm1 said:I'm sorry to hear that Patsy Ramsey is close to death. That family has been through the ringer. Hopefully she will be going to a far more peaceful place.
Either Heaven or Hell will probably be more peaceful than this life has been for her.deandaniellws said:I wouldn't bet the farm on that one.![]()
