Patsy's Interview..."I Don't Knows"..."I Can't Remembers"....etc.

Let's face it, the Rs had a lame excuse for EVERYTHING that pointed to their guilt.

and none of them could even walk w. crutches !

And she has insight that the rest of us don't have, because she and her husband actually knew the Ramsey's, were friends with them, had been in their house...and she had photographed them. She would know them better than anybody on any of these boards...and they think that the Ramsey's are guilty.....says alot in MY BOOK.

I will PM her and ask her if she would be interested in joining in on our discussions here.

thank you sooo much ! I shared what she had to say w. a group I'm in,and we all agreed and we take it to heart.

he says in DOI that he didn't want Patsy to see her that way...so he covered her.I think he knew full well he was tampering w/ the crime scene.

Oh for SURE...here is my question...if she was wrapped papoose style (John's own words)....why did he UNWRAP her, leave that blanket in the basement, only to carry her upstairs and COVER her not only with a sweatshirt, but ANOTHER blanket?? Because as you said...he knew full well that he was tampering with the crime scene. Why not leave her wrapped in the blanket that he found her in, come upstairs with her, and throw the sweat shirt and the other blanket on her? He removed the other blanket that he left in the basement, for a reason.

Is Doc Miller's book available yet, maybe at Barnes & Nobel?

WE WISH!

Nope, they are working on finding a publisher here. It has been released in JAPAN!!!!.....They say that the Japanese are all into the JBR story, so it was released there first.

Tricia (the owner of FFJ and Websleuths) is going to be posting a portion of Chapter one (in English..LOL)...on FFJ, but she is having some trouble with her internet. It was supposed to be posted yesterday, but she said that she is hoping to get it on there by tonight.

I pm'd her about an hour ago, she doesn't get on the board everyday, but I will let you know when I hear from her. Go onto FFJ, she has some pictures posted of Doc doing a reading of his book, and also a picture of her and him together.

None of Patsy Cline's songs are very easy to sing. I wonder how it sounded. I wonder if anyone BOOED her? LOL Or threw rotten tomatoes? Knowing Patsy, she picked it because HER name was Patsy too. Either that, or she felt like she was going off the deep end.

My guess is that she got a standing ovation.

She was, after all, the wife of the President of Access Graphics!

PR invisioned herself a star. She invisioned her daughter a star, too. PR took her state title VERY seriously. She had a very inflated sense of her own star quality, and her mother agreed with her.

Nedra seemed to be living through Patsy just as Patsy seemed to be living through JB..it made them feel validated,so to speak.
It reminds me of Steve Martin saying, "I'm SOMEBODY now!I'm in the phone book!! "

I'm in there TOO! :woohoo:
LOL!

I think Nedra was determined to have ONE of her progeny reign as Miss America. PR and PP were no longer possibilities, their chance having come and gone, but JBR was who they hung their hopes on.
And I don't believe JBR had much choice in the matter. When someone asked Nedra what happenes if JBR says she doesn't want to compete and Nedra replies, icily- "We say - you WILL do it".

Well, THEIR world would come to an end.

Exactly....JB was their ticket to notoriety. HECK...they were going to be the parents/grandparents/aunt....to MISS AMERICA one day, EVERYBODY would have known their name. Just think of how famous they would have become, with MISS AMERICA as their child. (Can you name ONE...just ONE....set of parents that have had their daughter to go on to become MISS AMERICA....NO...I didn't think so, like...who keeps up with THAT?) I am sure that, as sick as it sounds...that Patsy was getting a thrill out of being the mother of a dead beauty queen. It didn't matter how Patsy GOT famous....she was just happy that she WAS famous. Even though, alot of people hated her....they STILL knew her name. Which meant alot, in Patsy's eyes. IMO IMO

Hi Ames - you have done a very thorough study of the Ramsey interviews (which is very helpful - kudos for your work!) - I have a question:

Do you recall if Patsy specifically mentioned buying a set of 4-6 Bloomies for JonBenet too?
I do recall Patsy said she bought the larger size 12-14 set for JonBenet's elder cousin Jenny. If she bought a set for Jenny, I suppose she bought a smaller set for her daughter too (or JonBenet already had one).
Patsy said the larger set was probably kept in JonBenet's bathroom drawer together with her other underwear, BUT the police did NOT find any size 12-14 Bloomies during their house search. All underwear they found was size 4 to 6. So where were those large Bloomies? I believe the rest of the set was hidden, and if it was hidden, there must be a reason for that.

rashomon,
Patsy backtracks and becomes amnesic on the bloomingdales.

Most of the information regarding the underwear is here:
2000 Atlanta Interviews
http://www.jonbenetindexguide.com/2000ATL-Patsy-Interview-Complete.htm

Some excerpts:
1 A. I remember that.

2 Q. Which of those two trips did you

3 purchase the Bloomi's?

4 A. The first trip.

5 Q. Was it something that was selected

6 by JonBenet?

7 A. I believe so.

8 Q. Was it your intention, when you

9 purchased those, for those to be for her,

10 not for some third party as a gift?

11 A. I bought some things that were

12 gifts and some things for her. So I

13 don't --

14 Q. Just so I am clear, though, it is

15 your best recollection that the purchase of

16 the underpants, the Bloomi's days of the

17 week, was something that you bought for her,

18 whether it was just I am buying underwear

19 for my kids or these are special, here's a

20 present, that doesn't matter, but it was your

21 intention that she would wear those?

22 A. Well, I think that I bought a

23 package of the -- they came in a package of

24 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

25 I think I bought a package to give to my

0081

1 niece.
Patsy says she bought underwear for JonBenet and for her niece but as per normal cannot recollect exactly. Can you see JonBenet wanting a pack of size 12's, would Patsy not sort this one out at the time?

7 Q. (By Mr. Levin) Ms. Ramsey, your

18 daughter weighed, I believe, 45 pounds;

19 correct?

20 A. Uh-huh (affirmative).

21 Q. She was six years old?

22 A. Uh-huh (affirmative).

23 Q. What size underpants would you

24 normally buy for her?

25 A. 8 to 10.
Were any size 8-10 discovered in the house?

21 Q. Okay. What we are trying to

22 understand is whether -- we are trying to

23 understand why she is wearing such a large

24 pair of underpants. We are hoping you can

25 help us if you have a recollection of it.

0084

1 A. I am sure that I put the package

2 of underwear in her bathroom, and she opened

3 them and put them on.
In the bathroom, e.g. not the bedroom dresser!

11 Q. And I will just state a fact

12 here. I mean, there were 15 pair of panties

13 taken out of, by the police, out of

14 JonBenet's panty drawer in her bathroom. Is

15 that where she kept -

16 A. Uh-huh (affirmative).

17 Q. -- where you were describing that

18 they were just put in that drawer?

19 A. Yes.

20 Q. Okay. And every one of those was

21 either a size four or a size six. Okay?

22 Would that have been about the size pair of

23 panties that she wore when she was six years

24 old?

25 A. I would say more like six to

0094

1 eight. There were probably some in there

2 that were too small.

3 Q. Okay. But not size 12 to 14?

4 A. Not typically, no.

5 MR. KANE: Okay.
That is 15 pairs of size 4 and size 6 panties were removed from the underwear drawer in JonBenet's bathroom -- BUT NO SIZE 12/14's!

Also Linda Hoffman-Pugh is quoted in Perfect Murder, Perfect Town
by Lawrence Schiller (Pages 198 through 202)
These weren't naughty children. They dressed themselves, and Patsy did JonBenet's hair. All her daughter's clothes were organized in drawers. Turtlenecks in one drawer, pants in another, nighties and panties in one, socks in another. Dates on all their underclothes.
I assume Dates refers to the day of the week underwear?

As usual the investigators will know if Patsy purchased bloomingdales for JonBenet since they will be in her bathroom drawer e.g. size-6's?

Also Holly Smith, head of Boulder County Sexual Abuse Team, visited JBR's bedroom on the third day of the investigation. Smith says "most of the panties in JonBenet’s dresser drawers had been soiled with fecal material."

Also a pair of soiled underwear was left inside out on JonBenet's bathroom floor, which is consistent with what Holly Smith says.

Also Linda Hoffman-Pugh is quoted in Perfect Murder, Perfect Town
by Lawrence Schiller (Pages 198 through 202)
n the summer of "96, JonBenet started wearing those diaper-type underpants-Pull-Ups. She even wore them to bed. There was always a wet one in the trash. By the end of the summer, Patsy was trying to get her to do without them. Then JonBenet started wetting the bed again. Almost every day I was there, there was a wet bed. Patsy said she wasn't going to use Pull-Ups again. She just put a plastic cover on the bed. No big deal to her. By the time I'd come in the morning, Patsy would have all the sheets off the bed and in the laundry. JonBenet's white blanket would already be in the dryer. The Ramseys had two washer-dryers-one in the basement and a stackable unit in a closet just outside JonBenet's room.
So we have JonBenet starting to wet the bed and possibly place stained underwear back into her bathroom drawer, or it remained stained after being washed?

No wonder Patsy needed to buy JonBenet some underwear at bloomingdales.

Where are the size 8 to 10 underwear mentioned by Patsy?
