Misty doesn't act scared.She acts cocky,selfish,and very cold.I almost felt she did something to Haleigh on purpose.She was either a part of what happened or someone has something over her.I also thought it could be the people RC got in an argument over drugs we heard about.But Misty does not act scared.

I agree with you-now. But right after & for wahile, she acted scared & manipulated. I hate to say this, but I think 'fame' has gone to Ron & Misty's heads. You can throw Teresa in there too.

I agree. I personally don't buy into the Misty party theory.

Based on the 3-day binge for Misty, this was her first day back home, the discrepancies on collecting HaLeigh from school (competitive claims), the big argument with 20+ calls, lack of clarity on when Ron was at werk, etc --- I think this is uniquely an incident that Misty AND Ron know about and LE wants to crack one 'rock'.

If there was a party or other folks then someone would have slipped up or told something. This is solely the direct families and parents covering up, no-one outside that.

But somebody did tell something-in that letter. I just don't know how credible LE thinks it is. Maybe that pond is the crime scene. I doubt it, but Misty still not talking, has me asking questions. Because if there was ever a girl who wants out of jail, it's Misty Crosling.

Sykes' first impression of the petite teen came from the children.

"The kids adored her and she seemed to adore them back," Sykes said. "I mean they'd cry to go back to her."

Sykes said she saw another side of her grandson's girlfriend in the months after Haleigh vanished, when Cummings, Croslin and Ronald Jr. moved in with her.

"You can't threaten her or do anything to her emotionally or mentally that will affect her," Sykes said. "She doesn't have the ability."

I still think that Misty went out that night and either something happened when she came back (by her) or while she was gone (by someone else)...and maybe she has an idea of what happened, but can't or won't be able to prove it without implicating herself. I think maybe ron knew about it before the 911 call but not necessarily was there when it happened...but with so many lies, even if she is found we may never really know what happened that night, unfortunately...

1. Mr poppen who lived next door didn't hear anything. He was interviewed early by the media. I remember him saying RC's car was there and I think he said early evening...but not sure.

2. What I didn't know till last night was Judy Poppen woke up at 3:00am and heard misty crying, talking and walking with a phone.

3. Le said the "pink shirt" was found and won't say where; they added that it was NOT worn outside.

Sheriff's Office Releases Updated Information On Haleigh Investigation

Investigators have not identified a person of interest, they said evidence and information obtained indicate a strong likelihood that Haleigh's disappearance is the result of foul play by someone known to Misty Cummings and/or Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings.
"What do you say to the family that their child went missing and we have not been able to bring it to a logical conclusion at this point," Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said. Hardy said he knows the puzzle isn't yet completed. 95% percent of the puzzle is complete. ... except for that one little piece, that one little time-line right when she disappeared." (IMO, this means that LE has 95% proof of whether Haleigh is alive/abducted. The one piece that is missing is who is to blame for disposing of her body. LE claims to have DNA and forensic evidence, yet none that matches any of the players. It made me think of the Caylee case. They found that one hair in the trunk at first and many tried to say it was Casey's. But the difference was that the hair found came from a decomposing body. Again, LE has not linked who did what Haleigh and feel that Misty knows who that person is and that is why she is the "Key" to the investigation.)


Hardy told Action News that his detectives also searched area landfills. He says there were 41 deputies and volunteers who went through all the trash searching for clues and came up with nothing. (I would like to know what Landfills were searched and how long did it take LE to search these areas. How many months apart? The must have Misty, Ron's, Tommy, Timmy, and the others cell phone pings. Did they follow those pings to dumpsters in the vicinity they were traveling in? Could this be one of the mistakes that LE has made? Are there still other dumpsters/landfills that LE has not check?)


“We’ve done everything that we could possibly have thought of doing ," Hardy said. "But for me to point out an area, or a mistake we’ve made, we’re human…we’re not perfect. And I’m here to tell you that we’ve done everything the best we can. " (First thing that came to mind when reading this was that dumpster that was searched that 3 cadaver dogs hit on. LE said nothing was found, but the fact that 3 dogs hit on that dumpster always has me puzzled. There must of been a decomposing body in there at one time. The dogs that were used were dogs to detect human decomposition from what I understood. What if Haleigh was there at one time and the fact that LE waited so long to search that dumpster was one of their mistakes? They are admitting to making mistakes in an area, just not saying where. I do understand that even the best of the best will make mistakes. If this was one of them, this would of been a huge mistake. If it was not, I wonder what "Mistakes" they did make, it sounds to me they made more than one? IMO, the first one was to dismiss the claims of Ron being abusive and he and Misty being involved in drugs. This was mentioned early on, yet DFC ignored the claims and closed all the previous cases they had on Ronald. I thought it was also mentioned that there was an active DFC case going on right before Haleigh went missing as well.)

I agree with your first sentence, but disagree with the second one.
I took this to mean the opposite of what you did-LE does not have any foreign DNA that does not match any of the players. This makes me think that is why they came to the conclusion they did-FOUL PLAY BY SOMEONE THAT WAS KNOWN TO HALEIGH AND HER FAMILY. Someone that had been in the home before, not a stranger. The DNA all matches, therefore no stranger.

Good Point! I bet that pink shirt comes into play. I remember reading and can't find the link but LE said that shirt was not worn outside the house. Now that is one of the best pieces we have received.

Misty was taking credit for finding the shirt in the laundry after a week of detectives searching the home....not buying it.

In the latest article just linked about the vigil, I see TN is still spinning about her son and his devotion to his daughter. Funny, he always starts looking when he gets in trouble. When he got arrested last August, he had reporters come to his house the very next day to talk about Haleigh and his not wanting to take the focus off of her.

TN must be busy going from jail to newspapers, tv and the journalists who are following....busy bee she is.

JMO, but I believe with all of my heart that Ronald, Misty, TN, and Grandma Sykes know exactly what happened to Haleigh.
