Pentagon to hold it's first Gay Pride Event

Washington (CNN) -- The Department of Defense announced Thursday that it will be commemorating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride later this month. The event will be the first of its kind for the Pentagon.

Whoa! Leon Penetta throws me a HUGE curve ball! I'm there (pinching myself)... :woohoo:

I'm impressed with him (and not just because he was born, raised, and still resides in one of the most beautiful areas in California, it's hard to argue with his sensibility from that perspective). He's got a solid background that speaks to a public minded individual whose aspirations are to improve the status quo for every American. He's really quite a treasure, imo.
