People being detained and "exported" by ICE

yep, and very likely not paying any taxes on those wages. i also considered drug money, too.
Is not paying taxes common in the USA?? I suppose some big money spinners use corporate law to get around the mechanics of it. Not much room for the little bloke to wriggle thru though... oh well. No wonder the USA is broke.

American Taxpayers money, but it's ok @Trooper, some Americans think it's a-ok for their money to be used to house a man with no criminal record in a death camp, because let's face it, that's what that prison is. Then again, they're a-ok to house a criminal in the white house all on their tax dollars too.

We filed an extension this year with IRS, which lasts until October. We’re holding back our money until then, even if we have to pay a (small) penalty. We’ll pay eventually in order to stay out of trouble, but not until we have to.

I also believe her when she said this:

"We were able to work through this situation privately as a family, including by going to counseling," Vasquez Sura said. "Kilmar has always been a loving partner and father, and I will continue to stand by him and demand justice for him."

Wife of deported Maryland man Abrego Garcia said he hit, scratched her in 2021 court documents

right, he just beat her a little...on two separate occasions.... they kissed and made-up and all was fine. well, until...possibly, the net time... when she could have been harmed too severely to report it. guess we shouldn't worry about that, though... none of our business. everyone gets yet another opportunity to use the love of their life as a punching bag.

What is the name of this witness?

Can invisible witnesses give evidence at invisible trials to justify detention and deportation of USA citizens?

The 2019 allegation came from two levels of hearsay and was submitted on a form. And the detective who submitted the hearsay was suspended and couldn't be reached.

The GFIS explained that the only reason to believe Plaintiff Abrego Garcia was a gang member was that he was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and a hoodie; and that a confidential informant advised that he was an active member of MS-13 with the Westerns clique. ...

According to the Department of Justice and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, the “Westerns” clique operates in Brentwood, Long Island, in New York, a state that Plaintiff Abrego Garcia has never lived in.

So the uncross-examined detective’s accusation came from an unidentified informant who was also, perforce, uncross-examined—a second layer of hearsay.

Abrego Garcia’s lawyer later tried to obtain more information about the allegations ICE had made at the bail hearing, according to the complaint. He discovered that the Prince George’s Police Department had no incident report for the arrest, and the Hyattsville City Police Department’s report mentioned only the other three men arrested—not Abrego Garcia.

His attorney also contacted the [Prince George’s Police Department] Inspector General requesting to speak to the detective who authored the GFIS sheet, but was informed that the detective had been suspended. A request to speak to other officers in the Gang Unit was declined.

Canada has an extradition treaty with a lot of countries but we won't send anyone back who will face the death penalty.
yes, Brans, I actually meant to extradite him back to the USA> just waiting on whether he is going to face the death penalty if we do. Fraught business. We do, however, have a couple of ex marines, all american white boys , one from Tennessee , one from Alabama, who were not successful in their pursuit of quick promotion in the Marines, so they bolted and came out to Australia, on the premise that they could sink into the background..

Anyways, both of them , quite seperately decided to murder women. one was his wife, the other bloke murdered his ex employer, and there they sit in a Sydney prison, eating their heads off on non hormonal infected good Australian beef, for 40 years. At which point , they will be deported that day of their release, to whom back in the USA we neither know nor care..

We don't mind paying for their dinners, bed and board, because a Sydney prison is an uncomfy environment, so bad luck, chaps.. We just wish Americans, MAGA types especially , which these two are ,would confine their killing to Alabama and Tennessee...

Good old white boys like killing women, too..

What in the WORLD does any of this have to do with Mr. Abrego García being sent to El Salvador illegally…where he has probably been killed by the gangs he came here to escape when he was 16? Why do you folks hate this man so much?

Doesn’t it bother you all that over 200 men have been sent to a hell hole in El Salvador without due process? Even if all of these men are gang members (and they are not), how can you guys justify this inhumane treatment? Oh right. Trump says they’re animals, not human. 😡

I dunno, Troops. Sydney prison seems like paradise, compared to El Salvador mega-prison.

Trump is looking for ways for violent US criminals to be sent to El Salvador. Maybe he would like us to on-forward them to El Salvadore mega-prison.

imo

What kind of animals are they, supposedly? The cattle that are squished onto trailer trucks and sent to the abattoirs to be killed?

"The respondent argues that the Immigration Judge clearly erred in determining that he is a
verified member of MS-13 because there is no reliable evidence in the record to support such a
finding (Respondent's Br. at 6-9). In this regard, the respondent asserts that a Prince George's
County Police Department Gang Field Interview Sheet ("GFIS") is based on hearsay relayed by a
confidential source
(Exh. 4 ). The respondent also claims that he presented sufficient evidence to rebut the allegation that he is affiliated with MS-13, including character references and criminal records showing that he has only been charged with traffic offenses. Therefore, the respondent contends that the Immigration Judge erroneously ruled that he did not show that he is not a danger to the community

Respondent's gang membership, rank, and gang name is sufficient to support that the Respondent is a gang member, and the Respondent has failed to present evidence to rebut that assertion."

This is so frustrating to read. No one here is saying that this guy is some great upstanding citizen inline for father of the year. We are saying that he didn't deserve to be shipped off to a concentr prison based on heresay from someone who simply has given good information before and profiling without proper due process. And I will stand firm on that-because what about when it's my family, my friends, me.

I too suspect that Garcia is no longer alive. MOO
“Regardless, the determination that the Respondent is a gang member appears to be trustworthy and is supported by other evidence in the record, namely, information contained in the Gang Field Interview Sheet. Although the Court is reluctant to give evidentiary weight to the Respondent’s clothing as an indication of gang affiliation, the fact that a “past, proven and reliable source of information” verified the Respondent’s gang membership, rank and gang name is sufficient to support that the Respondent is a gang member, and the Respondent has failed to present evidence to rebut that assertion.”

You might have missed this info about that Gang Field Interview Sheet .... it is worth reading. Its author was suspended, and the GFIS was double hearsay.

Well.. Trump just rapes women a little bit.. yet he is , apparently , forgiven.. and those women , like E Jean , certainly did not kiss and make up, did they? 34 time 's a felon.. But I guess no one worries about that, it's just a guy doin guy things.. none of our business... every nation gets a chance to let a crazy fool run them into the ground, and if they survive, weelll they can just start all over again!! simples!!!

Look at Cambodia, after Pol Pot.. of course, Cambodia is broken to pieces and living on a shoestring... that's the fate of countries that do this, though...

Trump is using the USA as his punching bag... He could not care any less about ranchers, or tourism operators, or children, and god forbid, women, or even your good old boys down in the swamp catching catfish.. He is there to keep himself out of prison. . And to skim off as much and as many dollars as he can, ... it's the Idi Amin procedure.

Posted earlier by @branmuffin, I think Andry Jose Hernandez, a gay makeup artist, is worth discussing.

Keep scrolling. There is a lot of blank space in the article.

KEY POINTS:
  • A former Milwaukee police officer with credibility issues played a key role in the deportation of a Venezuelan migrant to El Salvador's Terrorism Confinement Center.
  • Charles Cross, Jr., a CoreCivic employee, signed a report alleging the migrant's affiliation with the Tren de Aragua gang based on his tattoos.
Hernandez passed an initial “credible fear” interview with a federal agent but, after Border Patrol authorities questioned him about his tattoos, he was transferred to ICE custody and sent to the Otay Mesa Detention Center in San Diego.

There, Torres questioned Hernandez and filled out questionnaires suggesting the asylum-seeker’s tattoos, including a crown on either wrist next to the words “Dad” and “Mom,” linked him to Tren de Aragua. Hernandez repeatedly denied being part of the group.

On one form, dated Dec. 10, 2024, a points-based rubric sheet titled “STG MEMBER VALIDATION / CONFIRMATION,” Hernandez was given a “5” for his tattoos. None of the other categories, including “intelligence information received from other agencies” or “group photos” with other gang members, were checked. Still, he was named a “SUSPECT.”

“Upon conducting a review of detainee Hernandez’s tattoos it was found that detainee Hernandez has a crown on each one of his wrist,” the form states. “The crown has been found to be an identifier for a Tren de Aragua gang member.”

The document is signed “Completed by” Torres and “Confirmed by” Cross.

Internal DHS and FBI documents obtained by USA TODAY have revealed that federal authorities for years have questioned the effectiveness of using tattoos to identify members of Tren de Aragua, also known as TdA.

It must be galling for you to know where some of your hard earned money is going too. My deepest sympathy for what you and many are witnessing and living in at the moment. As an outsider looking in it's just awful, can't imagine being there and in all seriousness don't want to be there either

Really, it's the equivalent of throwing chicken entrails up in the air and reading the mess left on the ground, .. 'interpreting' it. It's akin to a ouija board , or reading the 'runes'.. watching the sky for a 'sign' it's all woo woo stuff, they might as well 'read' their own horoscope... 'you are going to finally have some success today in your endeavors'.. oh bingo, I've found a gang member.

gimme a break....

Reason number 3,000 why we can't trust anything these people are doing. Heresay and questionable credibility, lack of transparency.

" Asked about the Hernandez case, the Department of Homeland Security wouldn’t offer further details on the case or the process in general but reiterated that the department uses more than just tattoos to determine gang allegiance. " but it is the only thing marked on the form.

"In court filings, Paulina Reyes, an attorney for Hernandez, described the crown tattoos on her client as representing his affinity for the annual “Three Kings” festival in his hometown of Capacho, Venezuela"

Then, just disappeared away.

Thank you for your kind words. It’s very upsetting. I never imagined it being this bad this fast. I feel awful for those who have it so much worse than we do. My dh is 80 and I’m 79 and we’re not dependent on our Social Security, although plenty of our friends are. There’s not much the government can do to us, but everything that happens is like a new kick in the stomach because this is not the nation we grew up in. It’s had its faults, of course, but this is just a whole new and horrible atmosphere of mainstreamed hatred and cruelty.

Thanks again. 💜
