wth is going on there? he's pretending to knock and looking around and ta one point he actually does appear to look right at the camera

whoa!
what he isnt pretending to knock?
what if his knocking is real? Did he unintentionally lock himself out?

So he did go to the airport and the cops freaked him out. That's when he hailed the cab.

I just requested human translation for this one.

Wow- what is this?! Was he going to pretend someone killed her when he went out to get coffee? I wonder if he thought the hotel guy would go into the room?

I could be way off, but I think you might be on to something. Looked to me like he was going to pretend he just got back with coffee but forgot his keys, so he would get a hotel employee to let him into the room and gasp, lo and behold, "his girl" is dead in there! It couldn't possibly be him! There was an intruder! But then he notices the camera and gives up on that plan, simply letting the hotel employee open his door and leave instead of trying to make a big scene.

He must have been desperately trying to think of some way to get out of it and then realized the camera was up there so he just split. IMO.

I have yet to see coffee or the sponge cake. Until I see him coming thru the door with those items - I'm chalking it up to a rumor. But boy did NG have a field day with the "danish" tonight.

I thought I saw one or two rolls or some kind of pastry or bread, along with the coffee cups.

This is all a "mini alibi" after killing Stephany. He goes for the coffee in the white shirt, things got out of hand, he kills her, changes clothes, perhaps showers, now he needs an alibi.

However he is not originally aware of the cameras, so he goes out of his room to pretend to be going into his room perhaps because someone is coming, so he knocks on the door, no answer. Better get the clerk to open the door to let him in.

He had an option at that point to walk into the room while the clerk was there and let the clerk discover the body with him, but I think he saw the camera and decided that wasn't going to work.

I want that coffee trip video.
But it's all so insane...and I really hate to use that word...but my goodness...did he think that he could get away with any of this?

i still think he killed her after he got the coffee. If he killed her before he would have went out for coffee and automatically played the "i forgot my key" game. Is it me or do those coffee's not look full/heavy?

I think he's going to tell le that he came back from coffee and she was already dead but he panicked because he knew he would be implicated because of the nh case.

where is the video of him going for coffee in the first place?

We are missing parrt of this ?

from that link:

His plan was to board a plane and so they went to the airport "Jorge Chávez", but when he saw police he repented and took a taxi which took him to Ica.
Al taxista le pagó el servicio con mil 500 soles, le regaló un reloj Ferrari, una cámara fotográfica, celular, perfumes y prendas de vestir.

So he did go to the airport! First time I've seen that.

...except the door isn't really closed at one point.

Any signs of the pastry?
Ok...wasn't that other guy staying at the same hotel? Now...what if he left the room to bring HIM coffee...then forgot something...tried to get back in but the door was locked (except it wasn't)? If there's no bread...how would he have explained THAT? I just can't believe this guy even went to all this trouble. Joren...there's a dead girl in YOUR JVS's room? Why would they think it was someone else that did it??!!

Yes, you have to watch it a couple of times (if you're like me), but he has something underneath the coffee in what looks like a clear wrapper. Not the big pastries that I'm thinking of, but more like a coffee cookie? It took me a while to spot it though.

Now Mark Furhman said there was coffee in the cups, but spilled on the floor, along with the empty cups. So did he go out get coffee, come back, find her on the lap top, kill her, THEN leave the room with the 2 empty cups and pastry/cookies? Get the key from the TAC employee to set up an alibi.

If that's the case, there should be a couple more videos. And I don't know about the friend/intruder thing -- unless TAC can provide those videos.

I think I'm more confused than i was an hour ago.

Yes...and what I find interesting is that they never mentioned the hotel staff letting Joran into the room. Why not? I mean I have my theories, but it's interesting how they're releasing the videos.

8:10am - Seen on camera leaving room in same clothes he entered room earlier in, Goes to gas station/supermarket to buy 2 cups of coffee and bread.
*Stephany uses his computer and finds emails relating to Natalee Holloway (5)
Seen on camera returning from buying coffee at gas station/supermarket. Holds 2 cups of coffee and bread (biscuits). (17)
Stephany confronts him about emails, they fight.
8:30am - Murder Takes Place, Time of death. (17)
8:35am - Leaves the room carrying 2 cups of coffee, and something else (keys) in his hand. Closes the door behind him. Stands outside room looking around, and knocks on the door as if he is locked out. Walks out of frame. (18)

If he left in the white shirt to buy coffee, came back and then changed into the striped shirt and walked out of the room and went to get the clerk to open the door - it means he killed Stephany after he got the coffee.

Until we see him going for coffee and what he is wearing we will not have the piece of the puzzle we need. Maybe they will release it soon.

it looks to me like he's got a wrapped sweetbun or something sorta in between his wrist & the cofee cups :waitasec:

Yes, and if he leaves in the striped shirt and comes back in the striped shirt, he killed her before he left at @ 8am.

Re: the security cam above his doorway.....maybe it's NOT a big obvious camera. Maybe it's tiny and disguised as something else. Yeah, he looks towards it a couple of times - but maybe it isn't obvious that it's a real camera.

Does anyone know what any of the hotel camera's look like?

  • #735
Ok, I think this video proves, beyond doubt, that he had to have help to get away with the murder of Natalee. I don't understand how anyone could describe him as intelligent.

It was mentioned that the hotel staff opened the door. I can try and find the link in about 8 hours as I am going to bed.

How on earth was he going to explain where he was going with the coffee and danish...'cause he was leaving at one point.

Her head is NOT on a pillow. She is leaning on her arm, and the other is a man's leg.

I didn't say anything about a pillow? :waitasec:

He may not have been aware it was recorded. Maybe he thought it was just for security for the front desk to watch.

In the empty coffee cup video it looks to me like that was the first time he noticed the security cameras.
