Danie, I am guessing that JVDS knew quite a bit about the Flores family, from SFlores' roomate. There was one report, that indicated the room mate, is the individual who first made contact/hung out with JVDS. I am not sure if they knew each other from on-line poker or not. And of course, as always - this is the sequence of events as they were reported and translated. So, perhaps we will hear some confirmation of this one way or the other.

JVDS seemed to know how to troll for people with money.

on gambling? Sounds like it.

The police deposition/interogation asks many questions about his
finances (money affairs) and he gave a long list some of which we know
are lies. I wonder if Joran realised they were building a vita of his
finances to help support a charge/motive of murder for robbery?

which gives Stephany an identity - very important in this high profile of

Get a free screen shot software like NW Snap ... there are many free good ones. Some of these programs are called "screen capture" ware.

So even if story invented why picked that word Mongoloid?
Does he see himself as a Mongoloid? Is he using the word to drop
the suggestion to police he is trully a defective - a Mongoloid.
I say this because I sense he drops a lot of words and ideas to
lead the police in their thoughts, or hoped it would influence them
in that manner. This is cunning enough tod o that. He thinks
people are stupid and he can guide people thoughts and actions ...
Mongoloid could be trying to lead police to that notion they will apply
to him .......... a true moron ......... and to a Judge then allowance for
time because we treat Mongoloids more easily ?

morning all, sorry if someone has already mentioned this - but in the first version of jvds crap he says the robbers in the hotel room 309 made away with $4000... so is this part of the money that she was reported to have been missing or is this some more money that is unaccounted for? i really like the way he tries to say that he is a business man and that is how he came to have the "extorted" money in his accounts and on his person to gamble with... i really believe that there was more at stake here than just a few hundred soles...and that he had intended to take her money from the very beginning - he just didnt realize that he was going to end up having to kill her to get it... i think he is a money fiend, kwim?

I think he really became desperate since his daddy died in February. He lost his bank roll. He decided to extort money from the Holloways and he knew sooner or later they would find out he was lying. He was on a mission and didn't care who or what got in his way to get out of it ...AGAIN!
