Flores family say they don't hate Joran.
What an incredible family they are!!!!

They just want Justice.
Welcome! :)

Yes, they are very unselfish, caring people who not only think of their own loss but also someone else's pain. It's really very refreshing. MOO

Wonder why they consent to American TV shows.
No message to get out to the public that I can see.
Anyone have an idea?

Maybe because JVS's first victim was a young American girl, much like his daughter?

Just got thru watching Greta's interview with Stephany's family. What a gracious family they are. My heart and prayers are with them. Why are people so mean I'll never understand.

Why does NG keep saying that Joran gave her date rape drugs? I thought the authorities said there were no drugs in either of their systems. Anyone know what is true? tia

Because Nancy Grace always says exactly what she wants, regardless of the facts, and no guest dares to contradict her.

They are very inspiring. I liked the way they put it; hating him would not make them feel better.

Have a good night everyone and hopefully tomorrow we'll have some news about the court appearance ~ and see if Joran has a new attorney! :seeya:

NG: Jean C. talking now about the prison. 1600 inmates, very violent. In isolated cell because officials now know his life is in their hands. Joran can watch tv with other inmate in his area. NG producer talking about Joran wanting to talk to Aruban authorities about where Natalee is, and be taken back to Aruba.

Caller wants to know if confession is convoluted, won't forensics clear that up?

This was in an article by The Daily Beast

Quote ....But it is unlikely that Van der Sloot will ever return to Aruba to face justice there–at least not in the near future. The attorney general in Aruba says that now that Van der Sloot has been charged and remanded for murder in Peru, they have to wait until after his trial—and perhaps until after his sentence ends—to question him again in the Aruba case. There is no extradition agreement between Peru and the Netherlands Antilles, and Aruban investigators have so far been denied access to van der Sloot. ....

Didn't I read Stephany was the only girl?

This poor family.

My heart goes out to them for their loss.

Sincerely,
fran
:rose:

Yes, she's their only daughter. Horrible loss.

John Ludwick...you confuse and astound me sir....what planet are you living on? And, really, did you just admit that you watched the NH movie with JVDS and he told you the parts that were true and not true?? :::shaking my head::::

And the comments on his FB page are just unbelievable...hope that is okay to post...

I was just reading the disgusting comments on his facebook page and... POOF... it went private. LOL!! Could that mean he didn't feel his big television debut went as well as he thought it would?

Nancy Grace was correct in saying that Mr. Ludwick just placed himself as a witness on the NH case. Could be the Fed's are investigating him now.

It was me! Just wondering how they can tell?

I was thinking the same thing when I ran across your post in the other thread but I was too tired to formulate a theory and still can't wrap my mind around it. I was thinking it might have been something lost in translation. Like maybe he was trying to get her pin numbers or something of that nature. If people still use those.

Thank you Lauri for the link.....it's very interesting that the mother can't come to Peru
but I heard that since the father passed.....they have no money at all. One would think that their friends in Aruba would help her out with air fare to be with Joran.

Also this......am I loosing it or does Joran speak Spanish? I heard him answering questiong put to him by the officials and he answered them in Spanish.

Perhaps, a larger deeper message got out to the public. Justice without revenge. Deep sorrow and grief without unleashed anger. As a family, displayed a collective humanistic philosophy (for BH, for VDS's mother, etc.) - a triumph of the human spirit and life, really.

It's therapeutic and helps the grieving process. My cousin who lived with us for 10 years was murdered on NYE 2005. Talking about it and ensuring he got justice was important to us and therapeutic. I would think the Flores also want to ensure that there are no misleading information in the media about their daughter, they want everyone to know she was innocent and killed in cold blood.

They have a calm about them that makes you think they know daughter and sister will have justice. He is a powerful man and I am sure a smart man that will not let anything slip through the cracks. I wonder if Joran knew who she was and what a powerful family she came from. I personally think they are way too calm. jmo

WAY too calm for Latin People, they are very expressive, emotional, and dramatic.
BUT this family may be very conservative, and religious. that may make a difference in how they are in public. not in privet.
MOO
PS: All my Latin frinds are dramatic.

It is interesting definitely. The video where Mr. Flores talks with the reporter about Stephany's murder, he mentions a few times that he would not kill JVS and that only God can take a life away and that intellectual people do not seek revenge (I'm paraphrasing).

Mr. Ludwig's call to NG must've been pushed through quickly.....how come he's making himself known now.......well he will be hearing from the FBI which may be just what he
wanted.......
