WAY too calm for Latin People, they are very expressive, emotional, and dramatic.
BUT this family may be very conservative, and religious. that may make a difference in how they are in public. not in privet.
MOO
PS: All my Latin frinds are dramatic.

Honestly, what I get from what I have seen is that they are very spiritual and devout Christians and their faith is helping them through this. They are also philosophical and intellectual and not driven by emotions. I wanted to add that is quite stereotypical stating that Latin people are dramatic - perhaps your friends all have the same qualities because you seek friends with specific qualities?

I'm surprised JVDS didn't say.......the 'nanny' did it.

Money, money, money... he asks everyone for money. Always about money.

Yup, Always, always, always; and the motive for killing SF.

He grabbed her by the throat and then covered her face with his shirt to stop her from being verbal---yelling, screaming, etc. He does not know how to handle his emotions; especially when someone confronts him.....the water and wine throwing incidents.... he only wanted to shut her up, but didn't know how except to physically overpower her--rage and violence when dealing with anger and fear. Remember the hotel employee that heard them arguing? If we could find out the time of that, I really believe we would have the TOD. JMO

Mr. Ludwig's call to NG must've been pushed through quickly.....how come he's making himself known now.......well he will be hearing from the FBI which may be just what he
wanted.......

He made the proud announcement of being a guest on NG back on 6/8 or 6/9. That's what I read before it just went private. I'm sure he'll be receiving a visit soon.

I thought he said "Virginia".

Ooooh, just had a terrible thought...wonder if he ever visited this guy in VA and attended a Metallica concert together in Charlottesville? Now I really want to know about this friend of JVS's. Where did he go to school. Oh chit.

Given the fact that we've been told repeatedly that Joran comes from a wealthy family, why would they not have any money to hire the best attorney available now? I'm sure that his "Judge" father, with all his "influence," must have left his wife and kids a large fortune.

It is interesting definitely. The video where Mr. Flores talks with the reporter about Stephany's murder, he mentions a few times that he would not kill JVS and that only God can take a life away and that intellectual people do not seek revenge (I'm paraphrasing).

In an article early on, a family friend described the father as a "philosophical" man.

Personally, I do not see a flatness in the family's affect at all. The father and other members appear to display emotion to me - just not rage, unleashed anger, cries for revenge, etc.

From what I read.....only a Peruvian Atty can handle the case...but given what's also been reported, whoever takes on his defense will be getting death threats galore.

He'll probably get a Public Defender....if he dosen't fire him too.

Joran's attorney resigning because of death threats exemplifies the kind of "justice" he is getting in that third world nation. While some appear willing to believe that this much-despised prisoner is getting steak, cigarettes, and even television in what has been described as one of the world's harshest prisons, others, like myself, are very dubious about that.

I sincerely hope that whatever defense he is allowed to present doesn't rely exclusively on the abilities of a Peruvian public defender.

Anyone know the exact timeline VDS emailed Ludwig? On or around the 10th of May?

He must've been desperate when he didn't hear from his 'loyal' buddy and then contacted John Q Kelly for the money in return for the whereabouts of Natalee's remains.

IDK, maybe a lot was spent and depleted on Joran's previous legal issues

The only thing VDS is getting in prison.....are 3 hots and a cot....but I doubt it's even 3 hots.

He's on a hunger strike and cautious about what's in the food they are giving him.

From another forum:

I think Joran is Bi

We know from the court documents filed that he and Guido at one time had
a "more than friends" relationship.

Bi-polar

Bi-sexual

Bi-Bi, Joran......... your azz is cooked!

I will add: Tri-sexual (He'll try anything) lol

I was surprised when he told Greta the trial will be inside the prison. And it'll take two years probably for that to occur or thereabouts. So, he's home for at least the next few years. ie; he's not getting out.

Before Greta's show I thought somebody said something about the Flores-Ramirez family wanting life in prison for him. But I thought it was said Peru doesn't have life in prison as a possible sentence. hm?
