Interesting theory. But how do you then explain how there was no blood on him, or on the clothes that he is wearing in the coffee videos and the leaving the hotel for good videos. Are you thinking that the initial bloody attack occurred before he went out for coffee, he then cleaned up and changed and went out for coffee, came back and that is when he finished her off by smothering her with his white shirt. Without going back to the timeline videos you so graciously posted, didn't only about 10 minutes elapse from the time he came back with the coffees and then exited the room with the coffees. Not much time to have a confrontation, kill someone, and plan his next move. He also looked very calm, cool and collected when he exited the room to fake his locked out of the room routine. He might have left the door ajar hoping that someone might have discovered the body while he was conveniently out for coffee and when they didn't he did his second return from getting coffee routine, not realizing that the camera captured all of his shenanigans. I don't know, but it makes more sense to me that he killed her before he went out for coffee and the rest was his staging of an alibi.

He could have changed his clothes before he went for coffee: no blood on his shirt or on him.

It doesn't take very long to kill someone.

He didn't have a good plan when he left at all.

He looked calmer and much more relaxed going out of the room with the cigarette in his mouth. Very, very relaxed. However, when he came out the second time, I could see the difference.

It's possible that he left the door ajar when he went for coffee.

Either way, Stephany was murdered and we have pics of him going for coffee. YEAH for the coffee pics.

Remember how he acted with Beth H right after NH went missing...........

Yeah, it is chipped. It was cleaned prior to the video today. Paint is cracked and peeling too, on the walls. I live in a town of old housing, have to rent in them, sinks look like that no matter how much you scrub. The enamel has gone and now it is down to the metal. Age, rain leaks, use, mold, etc... cause a great deal of unattractive wear and tear.

The toilet, well, think outhouse without house.

Who cleans the toilet out though?

Gravity/water cleans it out. The squat toilet is surely connected to a sewer system.

I still think he killed Stephany when he came back from getting the coffee. The picture of him coming out of the room at 8:13 with a cigarette, he appears very relaxed and the door is open rather wide at that point. Also when he returns with the coffee, it appears as though the door was ajar a little and all he had to do was push it open.

Hmmm.. I don't know. He came out of the room at 8:13 with a striped shirt on. He had to change out of his white shirt because it was blood spattered.

I don't think he had enough time, about 10 minutes, to have killed her after he returned from the real coffee trip and before the time that he came back out and did the knocking routine. Plus which, there's the striped shirt. IMO she had to have already been dead. I think he felt pretty confident in opening the door and not having anyone see inside because it is a very narrow entrance that is sort of squeezed between two walls. This visible not only when JVDS and Stephany enter the room but also on the video with Greta Van Susteren and whoever that other reporter is. IMO he was more nervous in the knocking video because he hadn't been able to clean up or figure out what to do and then he noticed the camera. Maybe he thought while he was out for coffee, someone would find the body and magically he would be off the hook.

In 1 report and I don't know which on I can't keep them all straight, it was stated that he killed her within 30 minutes of them getting into the room, which in my opinion shows the motive of robbery.....I would not be surprised if we find out that he did get her pin number to her card and used that to play online poker as she laid dead in the room...But with that time line it gives him plenty of time (after the shoddy cleanup) for him to be able to shower, shave and sh**....changes his clothes and try and figure out how to get her out of the room, I bet that is also when he was looking up the local tide charts...When he finally realized there was no getting her out of there then all the coffee runs and fake knocks and all that craziness started and he finally said the hell with it let me get out of dodge.

That still doesn't mean he was wearing it when he killed her though. The shirt could've just been in proximity to her and it got spattered also. Then he doesn't realize because of the color and pattern on the shirt that it had any blood on it. MOO

I hope so! While I do believe the murder could've been committed after he returned with the coffee as far as time goes, I just can't figure out what they would've been doing in the hotel room for 3 hours if his plan was to lure her there to rob her. And if she was only asleep, for example, when he went to get coffee why would he even return to the room if he'd already taken her money and risk the confrontation? :waitasec: MOO

IMO..he killed Stephany shortly after they returned from the casino...The rest of the time he spent there, he tried to "create" an alibi that SOMEONE else..killed her...Remember his First story that there was someone in the room that attacked her and killed her...So, IMO..after he killed her, he spent the rest of his time trying to fabricate a story/alibi..ANYTHING to throw suspicion off of him...BUT he never counted on the survellience camera tracking his coming and going from the room..HE IS TOAST...

You would have thought that they would have been more alert to the comings and goings out of that room if they did hear arguing and fighting. Joran was parading back and forth the next day, but Stephany was never seen again. I guess though with the change of shifts it is hard to track the hotel guests.

I tell ya it gives me the creeps in the video shot of him in the limp wrist scene. You hear how people that are possesed change looks ect.. he looks so strange and even pale in that video....JMO

When you look at the actual time from start to finish it is only 3 1/4 hours.

Yeah, for the coffee pics is right. I've been wanting to see them for awhile too. Saying that, NOW I want to see the continuous video of the coffee trip...cause I agree that the door looks to be slightly open upon his return and he's reaching for it with not a key in hand---unless as stated earlier here by another poster, he had to set them down and open the door before hand. There's always more that we want---isn't there? Might give a few frames of the wide open door episode with the cig too.
