What is the temp in Peru? My Lord I live in Fla and I tell you its a chore to say the least to work in the yard .. cause it is so HOT ... I am scratching my head when I see the prisoners in long sleeves, sweat shirts JC in a sweater .. and the one prisoner with the knit hat on ..

They're south of equator -- it's autumn /winter there

They're just going into their winter season according to Jean C.

How much would it cost to have a tape recorder and sodium penthatol delivered to JDVS by underground reporter ?? we know it's rumored to be minimum charge for permanent damage --

Official COD posted several times today.

Two fold.
1. Trauma to cranium (skull) and brain.
2. Trauma to the cervical neck region. (Common vernacular-- broken neck.)

No stabbing cited. Certainly not as a fatal wound. And probably no stabbing at all.

Exactly how the above traumas were inflicted I do not believe has been publicly divulged. Maybe Monday in court?

We have been trying to match injuries, statements, visible evidence etc. So far I think either elbowing or punch from Joran are the leading candidates. Open to other factors if there is evidence etc.

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusiv...e-file-joran-van-der-sloot-new-details-murder

"Cause of dead: cranial-encephalic and cervical traumatism- as indicated by the results presented on the necropsy report of the legal doctor No.1838-2010 prompt by the Division of Forensic Thanatology"

"INCRIMINATING ELEMENTS:
The Homicides Division has established the presumed authorship of the dutch Joran van der Sloot (22) on the murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez (21) by the following considerations:
1. by his confession
2. by the dead information
3. by the Certificate of Recognition
4. by the Parking registry of the victim’s vehicle at the Casino “Atlantic City”
5. by the results of the Criminalistic information (Biologic, fingerprinting and others)
6. by the testimony of the drivers
7. by the recovery of the stuff and clothes of the foreign citizen in possession of the drivers
8. by the removal of money, bank account cards and vehicle of the victim"

ROL states that earlier police report mentioned stabbing, but it is not on this officoal Cause Of death (COD) 6 page document released today.

So my "re-translation" of that rough translation would be:

COD:
Trauma to the Cranium (Skull) and Brain
Trauma to the cervical spine (neck) region

What do you think #3 above pertains to:

3. by the Certificate of Recognition

I am not sure.

I am in shock that this prison has a bakery....who knew.

I was wondering if it is cheaper to have the inmates bake the bread instead of paying for it already baked and delivered?

Good point Kat....I suppose I was being snarky as the prison abode just did not look like it would house a bakery...sorry, my feeble attempt at humor....this happens when I get frustrated with a case or multiple cases, lol.:innocent:

Unfortunately, we won't be finding anything out on Monday according to this:

The court said the judicial proceedings will remain private.

I am getting nothing on my search...could this translation by some way mean a death certificate? They have the body of the deceased, etc.

I thought the drug lord/ex-mayor was also in the same area with Joran and the Colombian hitman?

I heard that too. IIRC Jean C said something like "he had the equivalent of the blinds being drawn, sheets."
