I'm confused...NG & another news source describe Stephany's sneakers as "blood soaked" when there is just droplets of blood....

I had thought I saw a scratch on Joran's head on the left side. Maybe he used Hydrogen Peroxide to clean up the blood & it bleached the hair in this area. Resulting in him bleaching his entire head.

ROFLMAO....sorry this just hit me the wrong way. I envision peroxide being poured inside JVS's brain....it would still be foaming.:biglaugh:

I had a thought about the possibility of Stephany having JVDS DNA under her fingernails and the lack of scratches that we have seen in pictures.

IIRC, there wouldn't be a need for her to scratch him as deep to leave a mark on his skin. If she so much as was able to just rake her nails along his skin without digging, then she would have enough of his skin cells under her fingernails.

Say for example your Husband/Wife asks you to scratch their back. You gently rub your fingernails across their back. You will come away with a lot of their cells packed under your fingernails. You won't even notice it.

So she might have reached out blindly and without much strength and her nails came in contact somewhere on his body (forearms, etc.) and that's why she has DNA under her nails.

Might JVDS' DNA or perhaps someone else's she was in contact earlier that evening. We will have to wait and see.

Right, but it makes sense that JVDS had no scratches on his chest and arms, if he grabbed her from behind. The scratch on the knuckle makes sense because somehow during the struggle she was able to grab one hand, this should be the DNA they need. With a high profile case as this, I wonder why it would take 2 weeks, really?

Right, as stated before, JVDS was able to obtain her pin numbers for the ATM card. I think he tied her up with the bungie cord, slid off her shoes, probably removed her pants, and punched her in the face until she gave up her pin number then moved to the back of the chair and proceeded to choke her. He was planning on killing her but when he couldn't choke her successively, he took off his white shirt and smothered her. I think that's why we see some blood splatter on the shoes and the pants were taken off he hopes to scare her further. JVDS was hanging with this girl at the casino on one or more ocassions,I am pretty sure he knew she was gay. He was broke and desperate and SF was winning big. IMO

That explanation really sits well when you read it KR2. Doesn't leave me scratching my noggin' at all. Thanks for sharing!

Right, has it been mentioned yet why Stephany's nose would still be bleeding after 2-3 days in the hotel room. Not sure if this has been covered yet.

I wouldn't think that it would take that long either.

Also I wanted to add a thought about a question another poster had and your previous mention of the injury on his knuckle brought it to mind again.

I have seen some crime scenes where there is so much blood but they still take and test the DNA on a lot of the spatter and different spots within the pooled blood.

IIRC the question was, could they find his blood amongst all of hers. Simply put it is possible. I have seen it reported in other cases that they can detect a co-mingling of the blood and seperate the respective DNA's. Even on her body I would assume.

Just a matter of being lucky enough to have it show up in if at all the testing samples. Just my :twocents: and humble opinion that's it's not impossible.

Blood should have been dried up by the 2nd day, right? But with hemorrhaging that makes sense to me. Maybe Dr. Perper can answer that one for us for sure though!

I wonder if it could have been decomp from her brain? I don't know the details of decomp we have so many other's here that are well versed in that.

That's correct but the fact is that they are giving money to his defense fund. The amount is really beside the point.

I don't really care how the Dutch TV stations utilizes the money they received from ABC.

Obviously, none of the other countries other then the USA was even interested in buying AVS interview.

When you look at it, ABC is paying for a portion of Joran's attorney. Without ABC paying for the video, there would be no conversation about fees, lawyers etc.

Just between me, you and the fencepost KR2. I wouldn't doubt if he had witnessed or was told something by someone who may have had to clean up after him before (trying not to violate the first post of this thread lol).

I also wouldn't be surprised at all if eventually we find he had other victims and the connections haven't been drawn to him as of yet. (I'm thinking Asia).

Just all my humble opinion. I could be very wrong.

LOL - you don't know Nancy by now It's like JVM tonight saying "just in - pictures of the crime scene". Uh, Jane, we've been talking about the pics for over 2 days now.

Also, looking at the pics, I didn't see blood soaked walls either.

Hi! just have a few minutes and want to jump on here before I go to bed and make a comment..excuse me if this has already been mentioned tonight...Have not caught up.

IMO..I believe Joran FIRST punched her in the nose..rendering her stunned..then tied her up and beat the living he!! out of her, and because she was STILL alive...he took off his shirt and smothered the life out of her body until she died....HORRIBLE!!!!

IMO the marks on her body appear to be bind marks...she could not defend herself..

I have not read any posts on here today, but watched NG and JVM tonight...IMO He is NOT walking out free...too hi profile..and he is inflaming the police unmerciless with his accusations which are lies and slandering their justice system..

I believe it was on JVM tonight..correct me if I am wrong..Some guy was saying that Joran tried this same thing in Aruba with NH case, saying lies, stories, inexperienced police, incomplete investigations, etc...and it worked for him there...and he is "singing the same song and dance" to Peru about their police department..but it will not work this time...ESPECIALLY of a high profile family as Stephanies...and he is in a different country..

HE IS GOING DOWN...and he knows it!!!! and he knows what is waiting for him...He is squirming like a worm on a fishhook...He wants loose, before he is swallowed up by the bigger fish in the pond......Bring on the judges!!!

Maybe he was planning on taking her and all the "evidence" out of the room, but it became too much and too hard. As another person has said, he didn't want to work at it--it was too much work for him to clean up after himself. He just wanted to take the money and run. Everything else was a minute after thought. Same thing in Aruba IMO, he just had to walk off and go to class the next morning.
