I think with the international attention on this case Peru is being ultra cautious in how they are treating Joran and treating evidence. I think mostly the reason for the physical and the video documentation of it is for evidence purposes... looking for evidence that she fought him off or left any of her own hairs, blood, DNA on him particularly in any areas that appear she may have struck him. Wounds look different after a few days of healing... they would be able to tell if any cuts or bruises he had occurred very recently (in the time he was on the run) or likely occurred when he was with Stephany.

However, it is also possible that part of the documentation of the exam was that there was no evidence he was mistreated by police... like bruises around the wrists from handcuffs being to tight, any signs that he was dehydrated or hadn't eaten for awhile that may indicate he was mistreated by not being given meals, etc., and also to check for any illnesses, or other medical problems that would indicate he required special treatment or medical service.

I think Peru is being extra special careful in dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's so no loophole is created accidently by them that can be used in his favor at trial.

Heck, I also think Joran is currently getting the red carpet treatment. Three square meals a day, a real bed with blanket plus even the staged photo shoot for the media as customary for celebrity red carpet.

Well, that is 2 for 2,,,I guess, almost anyway...just like on his myspace he wrote "Only God can Judge Me",,,and now we see he has a tat above his heart....He is in love with himself and not his mother like Ronald Cummings,,,,There must be alot about these two personalities being alike,,,dont ya think???? Just saying, and of course as always, everything is my own opinion...

FWIW - I don't have a big screen tv, but I noticed J's sideburns on the computer size videos. When he is picking up the keys to go to the room he has unshaven sideburns. When he is coming out of the room (in the striped shirt), the sideburns seem gone. When they show him being paraded in front of the Peruvian media, they are even shorter.

I guess he showered and shaved before he left the room for the last time. Maybe that will help with the timeline..... And to me it seems obvious that he also threw straight peroxide (or maybe actual hair color) on his head and shaved again before he was picked up in Chile. Dyeing his already short hair lighter was a dumb idea - it didn't disguise him. But peroxide DOES disenfect.

Could her demeanor be proof he gave her the date rape drug which incapacitates a person somewhat, and causes them to lose their memory? I am curious when he did this, as they said they found packages of that type of drug in her car. So when and how did he do this? Any ideas?

I remember reading in the CA case that the active ingredient of GHB/date rape drug can also be found in visine/eyedrops... not especially saying it was used here though...but I would love to know if VDS fingerprints are on the packages.... It's also not uncommon that people take it on their own either..:twocents:

According to reports out of Amsterdam, murder suspect Joran van der Sloot confessed to Dutch poker buddies that he is responsible for the death of Stephany Flores Ramirez, admitting that he had done “something bad” in regards to the murder of the 21-year-old woman last Sunday in his room at Peru’s Hotel Tac. In a recent DeTelegraaf article, Van der Sloot has allegedly also remained in contact with his “friend”, Jaap Amesz, a Dutch reality show contestant and self-professed media .

It was very confusing the way Jane reported on the story. This is exactly what she stated:

Jane C: they believe the time of death, when the body was found ,and this report confirms it to be 12:40 AM Wednesday, June 2, 2010. They said the body had been there 48 to 72 hours which would match when he was last seen.

What is confirmed is they found the body on Wednesday, June 2, 1010 at 12:40 AM.

What is confusing is "which would match when he was last seen" since he was last seen leaving the hotel room at 8:40 AM.

Exactly my idea earlier - it does disinfect and peroxide and/or bleach can mess with DNA as well.

IMO, I'll bet she went to her car first. She was walking briskly with him when they left the casino. Not impaired. She was gonna go home. He walked her to car. They hang out in car. The coca cola cans - perhaps, found in the car. The empty one - the diet coke, she drank.
