How long after they arrived did Joran leave to buy coffee?
I can't imagine him leaving Stephany alive in the room at that time.

Woman's white "Flower Power" leather purse found in Joran's hotel room. Whose purse???

I think I saw this little purse on the video shown this morning on the Today Show when Stephany parked her car at the casino parking lot and walked back into the casino. Something white appeared on the right side pants pocket as she walked.

She was there a long time, jeans are unconfortable, I think she took them off herself.
I need to hear what can cause these injuries again. i feel like I am looking at someone who was tackled.

Seriously?? I would never in a million years take off my pants esp. when menstruating with someone I just met and am not interested in romantically.

There was a media report that stated he left at 8:00 AM to get two cups of coffee and bread. However, no video has been released showing him leaving his room at that time, walk through the hallway etc., and then returning.

Would you pay 25k to lure him to the US/US territory where he could be arrested and finally taken of the streets? Facing federal charges?

Nope. I absolutely wouldn't throw my own money away like that.

For once, a very informative NG. Go Jean!

We have no clue what she would do. Just going to the room in the first place was a surprise to her friend/family member.

Murdi Gancho.? prison, the worst in peru. this prison is terrible, occupied by....35 prisoners to a room, totally inhabitable, have to have money or connections to survive For 50 dollars people will be waiting in line to slit his throat. SORRY I HAVE A problem with that

The moment that this 🤬🤬🤬 was captured I knew that his days were numbered. He is a "visitor" in a latin country who killed a latina in such a violent manner. I don't think her family/friends are going to let that go so easily. All you need is a few bucks to put a hit on him. Twenty bucks that he doesn't make it to trial. I just feel it in my guts.. felt it since he was bought over to Peru from the first day.

Oh really! Taking jeans off after just meeting a man while menstruating.

Jane is the only one that said "ripped" off, and Nancy the only one that stated Stephany was "thrown" to her knees.

IMO, Neither one knows this as fact yet!

Didn't hear the news report about her being thrown to her knees.

I'd like more info on that purse, the size, is it possible that SF could have fit it into her pocket?

JC described it as very small.

Personally, I believe I see it in the video in her right hand when she follows behind him after he picks up the key at the counter. If she is holding it, she is carrying whatever it is the way a woman holds a clutch-type purse, whether it is a clutch or not. Only could see it when her right arm swings once, back and forth while she is following. Then, she moves both her hands in front of her body, and appears to be doing something with whatever she is holding.

Well the reporter didn't answer about the coffee question. Mysterious coffee saga.

Were any guests staying in the rooms adjacent to Joran's? I can't believe no other guests heard anything. I remember a hotel employee reporting hearing them fighting... does anyone know what time that was?

I still don't think he did. I believe she was killed shortly after they arrived in the room. MOO

Well I do agree with Nancy Grace on that Peace and God be with the family's that JVDS has affected with his horrible actions.

I didn't either, but apparently they have inside information.

Jean Casares is now on Joy Behar's show talking about JVDS.

I am presently listening to HLN on sirius radio and the reporter in Peru covering the story for CNN HLN just told Mike (Gallanos) that from an exclusive police report she received from the Peruvian authorities states that when Stephanny was found the only piece of clothing that she had on was her shirt - no panties - she was found on her back, knees drawn up to her chest.

The reporter (sorry, did not catch her name but she fills in for the NG show sometimes), states that Peru really needs to investigate further whether Joran sexually assaulted her and noted that that could have happened but Joran did not "complete"/"finish". Therefore no DNA proof.

Gawd, if that is the case how horrendous!!! The way the reporter stated this makes it sound that he possibly sexually did something to her after she was dead, or so near death that she was not moving. OMG this is sick!!!

No, no, no -- skin cells are left behind. Even if he didn't finish, seminal fluids still exist by natural process/lubrication.

Not buying this piece of information for a minute!

MOO
