I'm thinking Stephany Ramirez may have been asleep when Joran went to get the coffee and was still asleep when he returned. Maybe he started rummaging through her purse, she woke up and confronted him and he flew into a rage and killed her on the bed. Maybe she did not go into his computer at all.

To me, that seems a very real possibility. When this all started I never even considered the laptop. I really think this was about her money, maybe sex. But certainly not about his "past". He went by his own name for G's sake!!!!

I don't believe he purchased coffee for SFR. I believe he purchased 2 cups of coffee to make it look like he was giving one to SFR; my personal belief is he killed her before he left for coffee & bread.

I can't imagine how he thought he'd get her body out of the room since there is a security camera facing his doorway and there are bars on the window leading outside. Unless he acquired a huge suitcase, but even that would appear on camera when he rolled it out. There is just no way he was going to get away with leaving w/ the body.

When Joran Van der Sloot was first questioned, he denied even knowing Natalee Holloway's name.

Then he said he lied, he was with her, dropping Natalee off at her hotel around 2:00 a.m.

Then he said he lied, he left her on the beach.

He was caught by a hidden camera saying Natalee died after having sex with him, and that he then dumped her body at sea off Aruba with the help of a friend.

Then he said he lied, none of it was true.

He got paid to do an interview with Greta’s ‘On the Record’ show, saying he sold Natalee to someone he met in a club.

Then he said he lied, none of it was true.

He contacted Natalee’s mom’s attorney, saying “If you guys give me some money, I'll come clean, and give you the whole story”. He got $25k, sent them to a house that didn't even exist back then.

Then he said he lied, none of it was true.

(I'm sure I've missed a few...)

Enough.

Stop talking to him.

Lock him up and throw away the key.

Hopefully NO ONE will believe anything he says about mistreatment by police or coerced confessions because he's done nothing but lie since came into the public eye!

People who are in a rage don't stop to think about how they will dispose of the body. All they want at the moment is revenge.

Wings of Light, thanks for all your work on the time line!
One more little item for you:

Elton Garcia went to dinner at La Rosa Nautica at 9PM on June 1, and when Joran didn't meet him, thought Joran could have been kidnapped along with Stephany.

At 10:30, he returned to the casino Atlantic City, and asked the casino supervisor named Katy to review the video.

When viewing the tape, they found that Joran and Stephany were together at a table playing poker and they were seen out together.

At that point, I think he asked the casino to call Joran's room.

On June 2, he inquired about Joran in person at TAC, after Stefany's body had been found, prompting them to call the police, who asked him to i.d. her.

[I've paraphrased the translation, since it was at another site I can't link to. Here is the original, tho: http://www.larepublica.pe/el-asesin...ue-holandes-ingreso-hotel-con-stephany-flores ]

Apparently CNN has the "interpol document" with information regarding the following:

van der Sloot showed the representative a house where supposedly Holloway's remains were, according to the document. When records showed that the house wasn't even built at the time of her disappearance, van der Sloot admitted that he lied, Interpol said.

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/09/us.van.der.sloot.alabama/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN1

We need to be on the "look-out" for that document.

Great theory ! It's the exact opposite of what Joran "confessed" and what I would expect from him -- she wasn't snooping in his computer, he was snooping in her purse! His twisted mind would take the facts and alter them like that to make himself look like the victim, the innocent one.

I know I will get bopped for this, but I don't think this is his story, I think this is theirs, and he ended up agreeing with it.
I don't trust them. Not that I trust him either, but it certainly is more convenient for them if he confesses to their theory.

Why would their theory be one that is most beneficial to Joran when they have him totally nailed as her killer? Confessing and claiming she hit him first thereby making his beating and killing her as retaliation for what SHE did to HIM and that could get him as little as only a few years in prison is pretty bizzare.

They'd love it if he didn't confess anything and stuck with his original story that he had met her but did nothing at all to her and send him to prison for up to 35 years... with the evidence they have there's no chance - NONE - that he'd be found not guilty.

Joran has very likely confessed and done so in such a way as to get him at least a shot at getting only a few years in prison, and he likely decided on this course when he was informed of the survellience videos that alone - absent of all other evidence - absolutely nail him as the killer. Either the police informed him of this or maybe more likely it was his defense counsel that did when that person found out the damning evidence against him and advised him this is his best opportunity to cut what time there is no question at this point he is going to end up doing down to a minimal few years as opposed to upwards of 35 by giving a convincing confession that indicates he killed her accidently in physically retaliating on HER for HER supposedly attacking HIM.

I'm way way behind here, but your statement I bolded, I have wondered if it is true that Stephany was on his computer when he went to get coffee, if she possibly could have seen an email similar to this.

It's anyone's guess whether Joran's confession is true or not. IMO, not true.

Well, the way she was dressed makes me think she might have taken off her jeans to lie down. She was having her menstrual cycle, so sex may not have even come into play. He could have killed her on the bed and then pulled the body and sheet off of the bed at the same time to get her on the floor. He probably thought he could get her out of there in that sheet and then realized what an impossibility that was going to be. He knew he needed to do something fast before her family started searching for her. If he could just make it into another country, maybe he could disappear into the crowd.
I think he was desparate for funds. He couldn't gamble, couldn't travel, couldn't eat or do much of anything without money.

Patty G ~ I just saw this after posting on the same subject above.

I'm thinking that the Police might know that he had already cleaned up when he left the hotel to buy coffee. If so, it would discount his timeline of events regarding his confession.

If I see that he left for coffee wearing the white shirt, I may believe he killed Stephany after 8:00AM. Until then, my feeling is he killed her earlier.

I agree with you WBG. That may be the reason he is trying to retract the confession he gave. If LE can prove that he lied in his confession does he still get a reduced sentence?

Joran suffers from vanity imo, I think he googled himself and showed her who he was.

I'm confused. Why after all the many lies, confessions and retractions in Aruba are we all now thinking Joran is telling the truth about what really happened that morning?

Joran VanDerSloot and Casey Anthony - birds of a feather. both know what the truth is and neither can be expected to tell it.

I believe nothing that comes out of his mouth. I want the proven facts of this crime.

The length of prison time is not really important if he'll end up dying in there as seems to be popular opinion.
air tight case, with him in agreement. length of sentence isn't important.

Per Jean C on InSessions: Joran has a "private attorney".

Your welcome, just happy to help.

Thank you for the link. At this time, I'm only using confirmed information from credible sources on the timeline. I'm going to see if I can find that confirmed somewhere else. If you see any other articles about it let me know.
