Didn't Amber admit in her book that she'd had an abortion?

Also, didn't she record phone conversations with a past lover, another married man, and then play those tapes for said married man's wife? If that's true, it seems as if she was familiar and comfortable with taping phone conversations. Hardly heroic IMO.

I read Amber's book not long ago and I don't remember her saying anything about having an abortion. I don't think that she did.

There were a lot of rumors about her dating a married man...he was actually seperated if my memory serves me...it just sounds better if it sounds like he was still living with his wife....I don't believe he was though. As far a playing some tapes for his wife...don't know if that was rumor or what.

That's not at all what happened. You have your facts wrong.
(I took out the bold because bold always makes people look like they're shouting, and I'm sure that not what you meant).

I've read a few books, but if I got it wrong, would you please correct?

Just telling me that I'm wrong doesn't really help the debate. I have read that Amber contacted her married boyfriend's wife after the baby was born and she was a little unkind to his wife. If that is not true, then the information should be corrected. Did it happen? The wife says it did.

There was a brief separation but his wife was pregnant and ultimately, they worked it out and he showed up at the hospital when the baby was born. Apparently he also told Amber when his baby was born because she showed up too. Rumour has it that she showed up with a telephone tape. Maybe he told her that he had a baby to get her "off him" and maybe he really wanted to share the birth of his child with her. Rumour also has it that his wife didn't want Amber at the hospital and after the child was born Amber moved on to Scott. There wasn't anyone in between, was there?

I'm not talking about "Amber" per se, but I wouldn't suggest that her kids even MEET someone that a woman hasn't even known a year, much LESS marry him.
Bravo, I totally agree!!

No, I think that's the Maury show? Who's my daddy? Just sounds like she has been awful busy with the SP trial, moving in and out with her ex, her new job as an author, moving, to be hooking up a guy this quick who has 2 kids. God Bless her, she is going to need it. :waitasec:

That's why I asked, I wasn't sure about the abortion and the stuff with the ex.

But I remember something about Amber admitting to an abortion, but since I don't remember the source I'll just jmo it.

I didn't read her book, but I thought people who had read it said that she talked about an abortion years ago.

Thank you. I'm sure it did fill her with shame, most women regret it immensely later.

Well FYI I wouldn't be real proud of my track record if I was her. Sounds like a desperate person looking for any man. Major security problems. And mind you these are only the ones we know about!!!! But who am I to judge. NEVERMIND!

I agree! Honestly, I really don't care about her numerous men and all of that. Her being needy is her problem, one that I hope she can overcome one day. But she's not some innocent, naive pup who is just a magnet for abusive men to come into her life and turn it upside down; she brings a lot of her problems on herself. It's unfortunate, but it hardly makes her a victim. I'd hoped that she would have taken some of that money she made off this case and gotten herself into therapy and worked through her problems of insecurity.

I really hope this guy is the one for her and that they have a long, happy life together.

Maybe but bet your bottom dollar her $ will be gone soon. Hope she put away for school for her kids. And paid off her house and bmw. She didn't make that much. Or as much as people think. Like I said before God Bless her, but I don't see this as a long lasting union. IMO!

If she'd saved and invested it, she might would've done well with what she made off the book. Not saying she didn't invest any of it, hopefully she did. If so, hope she has a pre-nup. I don't think anyone should be able to take it away from her, should she ever find herself down that path.

My guess is nothing in a few years. It is always how it works in those sudden $ cases. Or it sure seems to. But none of my business. lol. I hope she invested because life is hard to raise 3 kids of your own plus step-kids. Hope she had a prenup, but who knows. Some people are so daring they don't. I would!

No, they don't.
It is nothing to be ashamed of for gods sake.

Did I say it was something to be ashamed of???? I wouldn't have one, but I also don't think it's the unpardonable sin either.

I should have said that most women I've ever heard that had one regretted it. Besides I didn't say that ALL women regretted anyway, did I?

Yep, you did, you even went as far to say you are sure it filled her with shame!

Most women I know that have had an abortion are just happy they are getting their life back.
There is no need for regrets.

You guys here are certainly a conservative lot....no abortions, no sex before marriage etc judge judge judge.
