I'm not going to debate Amber's position on Christianity, as I cannot speak for her nor do I know what's in her heart. All I can say is that Christians sin everyday, an honest one will readily admit it and ask for forgiveness.

Well I'm a Catholic, a hypocritical Catholic at that!! I sin too, but I don't ask for forgiveness from anybody, I don't give a chit what other people think really. I haven't read the book either. I haven't read any of the books written about Laci. But I did look it up on Amamzon.com You can look inside the book there and search. So I searched the word "abortion" and got pages 61 & 62 .
I did see Amber speak, and that's about all of her i could handle.

Im a catholic too Lizzie....taught by nuns and they laid that many burdens on me its no wonder Im so mixed up

I am conservative, so what? I also don't think sex is good for her kids to hear mom in the other room getting it on with her new boyfriend. I think it is critical for parents to protect their children. Whether letting your new man pick up your kid from daycare to letting them be exposed to new men.(Which shows me she didn't learn too much!)Call it what you want. She says in her book on the right pages JBean! So I am what I am. I guess Amber is what she is. A regretful woman who had an abortion who learned nothing about birth control. She made some tapes, before they got to her, she went got a lawyer, book deal and here she is. By what we hear, pregnant again with now 2 stepkids. She is a real thinker. So rip away..... I am bored. But i suppose if we ran in the same circles, we would not be suitable friends. We have some very different core values.

Well, it is something for me to be ashamed of. And I regret mine terribly. The guilt I feel is something that I wouldn't want anyone else to feel. If I would have made a better informed decision, my child would be 22 years old now. :hand:

If Amber Frey were truly a god fearing 'Christian' she wouldn't be having sex with different men, having abortions etc.
She is probably about as 'Christian' as Patsy Ramsey was.

exactly-couldnt find the original post about " if amber were such a christian.....", but the first thing I thought of is ..here we go..Christians sleep with multiple partners-they have every sordid thing happen to them that happens to anyone..people are not perfect and imo a good christian doesnt sit in judgement of others..firstly, noone is that "good" that they have the right..however, they take it- to me a christian has humility and I do not think jesus would have had this reaction to amber-nope-not for a second. He pply would have enjoyed her and found her attractive.

Found her attractive???? You don't imply He would have had lust, I hope, lol! He certainly would have forgiven her had she asked and then told her to go forth and sin no more.

I keep seeing the word "judge' used in a negative way. I think we all judge each other on a regular basis and that is normal and proper. how else can one choose friends, colleagues, or spouses?
When choosing a husband or a friend I think it is critical to form opinions and make judgements about someone before getting into bed with them,literally and/or figuratively. I think it is when people do not take the time to draw judgments about others , that many of us get into trouble.

I think you are right, that Jesus would have enjoyed Amber, especially because, according to Amber, forgiveness was so important to her.

actually we dont know that and again its her body not anyone elses..a woman can do what she wants sexually..its no ones business and no one would know if she wasnt a public figure thru no fault of her own.
Have u ever had unprotected sex?? I dont expect an answer but I doubt there are many people on this forum who havent had unprotected sex in their pre-30's at least.

I disagree. It's everyone's business she comes into sexual contact with. Just as it's her business to know that a sexual partner has something he could be passing along to her.

I don't think Amber thinks about the potential consequences of having unprotected sex. Many women don't. I read somewhere that the majority of women don't even ask their sexual partners if they could possibly have STD.

I havent kept up with Amber in a long time. Did she know this man was not the father or was she under the impression that he was?

They actually met while he was on a walk with his 2 children in the neighborhood and Amber was on a walk in the neighborhood with her 2 children.

Sure...like picnics, walks, the park, hikes, anything that a couple can do together with their kids. Of course they get talked about if they take the kids and they get talked about if they leave them with a babysitter. Single parents can't win so they do what they feel is right for them and their children and to heck with what others think...especially what people think that are on forums and don't even know the couple.

Great post. I can tell you are a good person. The type of person I would like as a friend.

I think it's funny how much energy people put into post after post to bash someone, particularly Amber. It cracks me up.
