PI Raw Video Tape (Nov. 15-16th) Discussion

Okay, I watched it again to be more clear:

First "scene"--November 15 9:15 a.m. is from the crime scene (MOO). You can see the potato vines and the road. DC emerges from general area of crime scene and is seen talking on his cellphone.

Second "scene"--November 15, 9:38 a.m. (so within 23 minutes at the MOST from the first scene) DC is on the side of a house or concrete block building. You can see an orange and white emergency divider thing. DC is digging on the side of the house/building with a small garden trowel.

Third "scene"--back at crime scene (MOO). November 16 at 7:50 a.m. You can see a paver and junk (possibly a blanket but the video quality is poor). DC is now more suitably dressed and has his probe. He slides it into the ground and it slides right in. He moves to an area nearby at the (9:44:28 mark on the upper numbers) and you can clearly see what are pavers or concrete blocks in a configuration (in the wooded area in background). You can also see these in the crime scene photos (MOO).

Scene 4--November 16 at 8:16 a.m. So if these time stamps are correct he's bouncing back and forth between these locations. Full on excavation, DC-style. You can see what looks like a black plastic bag with yellow ties. This is again at the concrete block house or building.

That doesn't look like a house now that you mention it. Who would have an "emergency" traffic sign beside their building? The Utility company? The City water department perhaps?

It's too bad a rattler didn't bite DC cause in MOO he is a snake the worst of all evil snakes. He makes me sick the way he shoves that prode into the ground. :furious: Wonder if he had found Caylee that way that is just about as bad as what KC did or preety equal actually. There is a photo somewhere of George taking out the trash and the trash bag had a red tie just like this one from the PI search video. I have searched for the last hour and can't find that darn photo to save my life.
IMO the PI knew exactly what he was looking for, he just couldn't find it. Or did he?

seeing this video somehow made it all come together for me.
Here's my theory
1. Meter reader saw something that made him suspicious in August (or perhaps he was the one that noticed her car at that spot in June and decided to go take a look).
2. he went there in August and either found the body in bag OR just saw things that did look suspicious. he called LE for 3 days and they either didn't come or didn't go all the way in cause they're afraid of snakes.
3. Meter reader feels something is there but doesn't want to get too involved as we could hear on 911 calls he was very hesititant to get very involved and call crimeline. Now we understand as he used to be a bondsman and bounty hunter and he knows how things work AND he's all too aware of his prior charge of kidnapping looking REALLY bad if he happens to find a body of a supposedly kidnapped kid. He's in between a rock and a hard place now, decides to wait and see if anything comes out on it's own.
4. By Nov. it's obvious nothings happening and the water has receded so he goes back. It's at this point that I think he found the body and a plan has been brewing for awhile. He's well aware of the PI D. Casey from tv exposure etc and has decided to call him with the info, which he hopes will keep him out of the picture and yet accomplish the purpose. He's the one on the phone to the PI trying to direct to the exact spot and giving him the info.

OK, That's my theory, so I'm anxious to hear arguments to disprove. I really hope I'm wrong and that casey is the one who told someone so we have another nail in her coffin.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but don't wish it to be so. I could see RK being the lead behind the call for the sake of anonymity because of his exonerated past. Plus, the new story linked in this thread tonight says RK's attorney says he was reading meters in the neighborhood in Nov as well now. I hope LE gets the phone records to settle this soon.

I don't know! I'm sure someone will pop up by tomorrow and tell us what the addy is for the location. I'm not a video nerd but in one small segment it pans real slow showing a window, some kind of fencing and what's next door. If I had the patience and know-how to do a screen by screen slow down of it (like I'm sure someone else here can easily do) I would. Right off the top of my head I don't recognize that area. Maybe it's an outbuilding for the school (hence the concrete block and the emergency divider thing).

I know! It's the sure-fire way he's walking. When people search they do it in a methodical fashion--they don't just BEELINE.

Good grief, this guys trip into the woods with his little pen knife and a garden shovel had nothing to do with kio's assertions that this area was some schoolgirl hangout, nope..he was a man on a mission. And a mission that was so important on the 15th that he went in his dress slacks and good shoes. At least on the 16th he had on jeans and brought some gloves. He knew what he was looking for, no doubt about that.

His digging around that house was in such a small area that I don't think he was looking for her body in that area, he was looking something else...maybe the blackjack phone or some other incriminating evidence. Hmmm, makes me wonder if he actually did find something else, bet he did.

Well if he was on a mission and acting under specific guidance, he wasn't doing a very good job of it! It looks to me like just another individual who's curiosity has got the better of him. He's not dressed for 'searching' and he isn't 'searching' - he's just poking around in a few places. There's no telling from the video where he is, plus there's wooded lots on both sides of Suburban (not to mention other areas nearby), probably all having the same types of vegetation and assortments of rubbish.

Looking at the times on the video, he's probably having a rummage of his own accord, on his way to work for the A's. Just because he worked as a P.I for the A's where his brief was to investigate possible 'leads' to a live Caylee, it doesn't mean that he had to personally believe she was alive.

If you notice the video jumps back and fourth from the 15th and 16th and it is obvious he is being directed where to look and knows what he is looking for. So, could it be true what Hoover said, that DC called him on the 15th and told him they had found Caylee and they had to go get her? And who is they?

Notice how in one of the video's of the 15th it looks like he is digging next to a concrete wall, a building or house? I also see pavers. What do you see on the left before the video goes still? My eyes are playing tricks on me .

Then you see him digging in the woods, then it jumps back and fourth. IMO there is much more to this video. I think the SA hit thejackpot with the Bontist and this video. Again, I can't wait for the trial to see what the entirety of the video will entail. And just last week Dominic Casey said Hoover was lying..."IMO" I feel someone put Hoover up to spying on the Anthony's and Casey as well, money or not again..JMO.

Searchers actually use those kind of probes to check for graves. I'm not saying that's what he was doing but I've seen searchers use those exact same metal poles or what looked to my eyes as the same kind of pole.

I was under the impression it was to "feel" for a body. How does it search for a grave if the soil is wet and moist?

I can sort of make out part of the phone number on the sign - looks like "800-548-" and perhaps the word "Suburban". I could be way off too.

EDIT: Never mind, I totally changed my mind about the word suburban. Looks more like "Custom....." as in customer, perhaps?
