Side note, not that it is in any way similar to the grief of the Chapins for losing their son. But I have had a box of ashes for our last dog on the desk. I can't seem to do anything with them, because then it would be "real". Just leaving them there, not doing anything "final" means that they are still here. If that makes any sense.

I know there are places that make jewelry with ashes, and stuff. But just leaving them on the shelf, seems to make it not real. Doing anything with them is just too final and heartbreaking.
Side bar, my family took my sister's ashes to all her favorite places. She even went to Disneyland in film containers. We all carried one. She joined us for Jack Tacos. We have pictures of her in containers in family photos from the excursion. "Why yes, that film container in front of Pirates of the Caribbean is my sister." We laughed until we cried. Everyone deals as they need to.

Just a thought: Maybe SG had planned a way forward, based on BK being on death row. He knows it would have dragged on for years, but he meant to go to every hearing, every motion, and speak his unbearable truth of pain & rage as vivid reminders to the decision-makers that BK is a monster who should die horribly. Every hearing would offer him a chance to act against BK, to hurt him. The plea deal denied him that opportunity.
Yes I think it gave him purpose and a feeling it wasn't "over." Now he is left in silence.

That article being cited is a horribly written piece of fake news. He has not agreed to any interview.

If this was valid, I don't think the first place we'd be finding out about it would be an article on hubpages.

And scroll further down LTLMedia's tweets....he retweets Turtleboy, for heaven's sake. That shoots his credibility down to -40%, IMHO.

That’s not how Hunter’s girlfriend Emily describes it in the Amazon documentary. DM called and asked if Hunter would come check out the house because something weird had happened the night before. She thought maybe she’d imagined it because BF hadn’t heard anything, but they were too scared to check it out because no one was responding to their calls/texts.

Emily said the roommates were already waiting for them outside when she and Hunter got there. Hunter went upstairs first, and Emily had just stepped inside the front door when he came rushing back down and said they needed to call 911 about an unconscious person. Emily said Hunter saw the wounds on Ethan and Xana and immediately knew they were dead, but he was trying to shield the girls from the horror of the situation.

Although, he must have relayed that info to first responders when they arrived though because the EMTs never went inside and the cops put up crime scene tape. The cops weren’t telling them anything about what they’d found inside the house, and then they got the Vandal Alert about a homicide investigation on King Road and realized Xana and Ethan had been murdered.

I think it was only then that they really started to wonder about Maddie and Kaylee whereabouts. They don’t say that in the documentary; it’s just my impression. I don’t think anyone even dared to consider that all 4 of them might be dead until they received the second Vandal Alert calling it a quadruple homicide investigation.

The girls were understandably very upset with the police officers on scene for not telling them anything while they’d been sitting outside the house for hours.

I suspect what Emily was allowed to say in the Amazon documentary has a lot to do with when it was filmed, IMHO. By all accounts it was filmed last year. She had to be rather general and vague.

In depth details about the 911 call didn't come out until court filings back in Mar/April of this year. I'm sure she and Hunter had been counseled as to what they should and shouldn't make public at that point.

Just watching now. My gawd, the amount of commercials is worse than old network tv.

There is no media interview scheduled with Bryan Kohberger. If true, it would be massive news and reported everywhere.
Please DO NOT post random media articles that are not mainstream.
Thank you.

Are you watching on Prime? I think the commercials are minimal given the tremendous amount of the documentary being shown.

I was shocked the Congalves family declined to participate in the Prime Video documentary. They have done so much media. It was very nice hearing so much from Maddie and Ethan’s parents, plus all the friends. Hearing BK’s college mate call him a robot reminded me of discussion here. This was my favorite documentary, along with the latest Dateline that also answered so many questions.
