did anybody see this on any of the live streams?

presenter Joel at Surviving Survivor asks Bill Thompson...

Joel says that ' BT won't be aware of it but there was a photo of a black heart which BK had on defense table, camera zoomed in on it, hearing this what are your thoughts?
I saw it. There was a pen or pencil next to it imo.

Law Enforcement confirms (despite several rumors online) that they "did not get any tips or any evidentiary items from the (Kohberger) family".

I wish they would have required him to at least say this much. I get he can't be required to explain what he did or to speak about motive and that would be easy to lie about anyway, but why not require him to say where he put the knife. If he buried it, then require him to take them to it. That would provide more closure that he knew something only the killer would know, and he told something that could be proven (they could go retrieve the knife or clothing).

I think he looked even more frozen when she said that. That seemed to catch him off guard.

I thought it saw him smirk a little when she said that.

Plus she has one job she has to ethically do to the best of her ability and that is to defend Brian Kohberger, whatever her personal feelings they do not matter,
She is required to do everything in her power to protect his rights, having sympathy for the victims is never a part of her job in so far as doing her job,
I would want a bull dog of a lawyer if I needed to be defended, and I think everyone should be afforded one of they are to defend their life against the power of the government
Some of the most amazing lawyers I have come across are public defenders. But uh, that's not a relevant story here 🫢

A defense lawyer is to stand between the state and their client-without them prosecutors could charge whoever they want with whatever they want for any reason at all. I greatly admire them for the role they play in the criminal justice system.

Moscow Police say they don't know who the target was.

Papa Rodger social media account not connected to Bryan Kohberger, Moscow Police say.

Moscow Police say the K bar knife was the only murder weapon.

Moscow Police say they have no information about where Kohberger's clothes or knife are.

Moscow Police never found a link on social media between Kohberger and the victims.

@BrianEntin
I have always thought it was random victims not random house, I think he knew of the house, knew it was a house that was well known within the university so would be a big media storm, I also don't think he intended to kill more than one, just that night two were in one bed upstairs, and Xana must have come upon him as he was coming down stairs so they saw each other and he chased after her which is why he killed her in doorway where he caught her, I think Ethan woke up or at least stirred so he heard him this he killed him,
If he and Xana did not cross paths IMO she and Ethan would be alive, he killed them out of necessity as they could have called police, I don't think he even knew Dylan was there and saw him, it's a ridiculous theory posited that he may have been too exhausted to kill her, he has just stabbed 4 people to death his hands would have been dripping in there blood and he just couldn't bring himself to kill a person who could have been calling 911 before he even got out of the house (He was probably wearing gloves so I didn't mean blood was literally on his hands)

I'm honestly surprised that he is not Papa Rogers.

somebody asks about BK's jail calls & comms

LE replied -
100s of thousands of hrs of jail calls were monitored & evaluated in hope of gleaning evidence but nothing of evidentiary value was gained from it ( BT adds that 3rd party calls are ' owned ' by the two counties jails & unlikely to be released to media)

I thought the house was the target because he could park behind it and watch.

I assumed he drove around looking for houses and this was the one he picked. For all we know, there were other houses that interested him too.

still catching up on Qs & As

Q do you have a motive?
A we don't

Yes his mom and sister per the Associated Press. Could find the link on my lunch break.
Per AP:

"His mother quietly wept at times as the victims’ parents described their grief. She sobbed briefly when Maddie Mogen’s grandmother said her heart goes out to the other victims’ families, as well as to Kohberger’s family"

But how do you force him to speak? You can't torture him.

It could be part of the deal to take death penalty off the table, but in that case, he had no incentive other than to try for the trial, when he wouldn't have to speak either.

I'm curious about his previous trips by the house. I hope we see that released with the documents. I believe it was something like 20 times he was in the area in the months prior to the murders. So, did he park and watch the house or were all these just simply drive by and he was only in the area for a minute or less? Could he have picked the house and then in all those trips by to watch it he noticed the roommates coming and going and focused in on one of them at that point? I do find it curious he was there so many times when he didn't live or work in the area and has no known ties to the area or other reason to be there.

The prosecutor could easily have made this a condition of the plea deal and they chose not to.

I wonder how many towers. there were for his phone to connect to, I also wonder if we will ever see if LE had evidence that was in the media about his phone allegedly connecting to the homes WiFi,
Maybe that was just another rumour, alongside huge amounts of other rumours about the case,

I'm convinced of it. I missed the start of the sentencing and so I had to play the first few VI statements on double speed to catch up.
On double speed you could really see how often he moved, flinched, clenched his jaw, moved in his seat etc. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever seen him.
At one point after Dylan's statement, AT noticed him squirming too so she asked ' you okay?' and he nodded unconvincingly.
