GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #114

FWIW

From the detailed timeline GH is reviewing, all those calls to KG's ex-boyfriend? Murphy was missing. Makes total sense she'd be trying to reach him, frantically.

"Evidence photos show Bryan Kohberger's personal items,
including birthday cards received after Idaho murders.

One appears to be from Kohberger's parents.

The document also includes a second birthday card that ostensibly addresses Kohberger as "Bryeeerrnnn!"

Not hard to imagine that BK was bad for business. But also, the two waitresses IMO most likely to have interacted with him were no longer alive to report it.

I happen to think the Mad Greek was one of his first stops when he arrived in Pullman.

There were plenty of vegan option restaurants in Pullman, including a pizza parlor that could substitute vegan cheese, why start in Moscow?

Yes, his diagnoses date for his "mental health disorders" was Feb 2025. Way after the fact, and likely was done in relation to this case by ATs urging IMO.
Last ditch effort there

Yep. Exactly my point. I'd give his mental health "diagnoses" more credence if it was done years before the murders, maybe as a teen or younger, but not after the fact.

I really want to know who sent that card and what the inside joke is about.

I wonder what his childhood was like. If there were early signs his mother may have over compensated throughout. I’ve never had a special needs child but I can understand why it would be difficult to find a balance for the parents.

My new theory -- he hunted social media while he was still in PA. It's possible that the Mad Greek's social media caught his  eye stare.

It's not likely it came from all his friend.

He seems pretty enmeshed in his family. Mother, Father, Sister.

IMO he may well have mentally disowned the one whose phone he stole. Because grievances.

Anyway, if one card came from Mother (and Father, presumably), there's a good chance IMO the other came from Sister.

"Bryerrrrn" sounds like what a baby might say, which then becomes a pet name that sticks.

It's all disturbing and chilling when viewed alongside the reality of four families who lost their beloved children and two survivors, who lost their best friends. The bottom dropped out of the world, and yet in the Kohbergerverse, life goes on just as it always has.

Grosser still, the felon probably took a sick delight in that.

The only way I could figure out how to pronounce this is Bry-earn (and drawing out the r). Like to earn a living/respect/etc. I'd love to know how he earned that nickname!

Buy and Run??😂 Buyer-beware is more fitting.

Because it’s in a different city from where he lived and worked. He may have also thought he could take advantage of committing the murders across state lines, in different jurisdictions. In the past, jurisdictional issues could really hinder a murder investigation with different departments refusing to communicate, share evidence, etc.

Ohhhh, ty, I thought it was Bryem! The ern looked like em.

At least they didn't call him Brain. My brother's name is Brian, and I can't tell you how many times I've seen his name misspelled Brain, which just didn't suit my brother, haha.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned here, but I thought this was interesting. I was watching a YouTube video last night, where the presenter was going through the photo dump of BK’S apartment and office.
He noted, that some of the words written on the whiteboard in the office (which are not redacted) are written in Korean. For example, there is “Bryan” and “Kohberger”, but also, strangely, the word

cal [ 칼 ]

which means ‘knife’ in English.

I agree with you in theory but every attorney who has commented on this has said he had 42 days until 9/03 to file ineffective assist/notice of appeal (citing Garza V Idaho). IANAL. That deadline was at midnight.

I call it a technicality. JMOO
WOW! I totally missed that. Thank you for the extra info! ☺️

"In a June court filing
Kohberger wrote that he was diagnosed with:
- Autism (level 1);
- OCD
(obsessive compulsive disorder);
- ADHD;
- ARFID
(which is an acronym for avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder.
Most common in children,
this disorder manifests in highly selective eating habits that greatly limit an individual's diet
and can result in malnutrition and limit a person's physical growth.

All four diagnoses were made in February 2025,
Kohberger wrote.

He also noted in the same document
that he was taking just one prescription medication at the time:
Levothyroxine, which is used to treat hypothyroidism
and is one of America's most-prescribed medications.

Individuals with autism level 1
are high-functioning,
display only a few symptoms of the disorder
and often require no assistance to perform everyday tasks."
Right. How convenient he was diagnosed by the Defense Psychologists for these disorders soon before trial was to begin. Was the murderer ever diagnosed by an independent Psychologist at any time before the murders and arrest or before he even left PA?

The prescription Levothyroxine, while mainly prescribed for thyroid issues, also notoriously gets used/abused for weight loss. I wonder how long the murderer has been taking this and who prescribed it? It can also have some serious side effects.

Thanks for the heads up on NG being "extra" NG. 🤣 That was not an understatement by any stretch. I had to listen to it at 2.0 playback speed just to get through it.

She definitely tossed the State (BT) and the Judge under the bus IMO. I don't think they'll be coming on the show any time soon. ;)
