DBM (double post)

Thank you. I've got so much going on right now (moving and dealing with multiple contractors) that I can't possibly read every post. Wish I could! It's handy when links are included in posts.Done.
(Sorry, MeadowMuffin referred to the Case Summary and I assumed people knew how to get to it. In response to her post, I quickly attached a screenshot that I created for a previous post and still had in my Photo library.)
Note that the Cases of Interest page has a direct link to the Case Summary:

Good point. Fear does seem to be the root of hate. Unfortunately, hate comes across as power and strength to some people, and exerting that power over women (or anyone else) makes them feel strong and valuable. This can apply to young teen boys and world rulers alike. And it may apply to the Moscow Killer. How afraid must one be of women to need to do this? I'd say the same of anyone who has to hate on someone to make themselves feel like they are worth anything.
I hope like heck they are before they were deceased cuz I doubt pics of the deceased, if taken by LE, would be released to the public. At least I don't think.
So, if before... then he was sneaking pictures of them during his stalkings. I'd be shocked, mortified, actually, if he took pics of his "handywork".
From your article:
The records include “photographs of each of the deceased victims [snip]

It’s unclear whether the pictures are before or after the vicious stabbing deaths at the off-campus house in Moscow.
Crazy if he took a Polaroid at the scene.so the member who said maybe he had a polaroid instant camera (for a reason why D saw the light under the crack of the door and thought it was a firecracker or something) may have been right?

And look what happens when women speak out. We’re too often blamed for the assaults against us and are told to shut up about our experiences of being afraid of being attacked, threatened, and having to be wary all of the time because, god forbid, it hurts some male’s feelings.Good point. 1122 occupants were U of I students? But the actual WSU reference in my post was a reference to Pullman PD's partnership with WSU criminology department's research studiesHow do you propose that universities control privately owned off-campus housing? It's one thing to blame them when they dropped the ball in on-campus housing, like in the Kristin Smart case, who lived in the dorms and so did the suspect, but this is a whole different horse. I see it as the landlord's responsibility to maintain the integrity of the doors and windows, and short of doing that- the tenants make the repairs and get re-imbursed from the landlords. Yes college students should be made aware of basic safety- maybe that should be the universities job, but that's not always a realistic goal. Oh, and they were students at U of Idaho, not WSU.
Yes, the victims went to U of Idaho. Explain those multiple ways when the landlord is a private owner.1122 occupants were U of I students? But the actual WSU reference in my post was a reference to Pullman PD's partnership with WSU criminology department's research studies
Who's ' blaming U of I' ? No, I made some suggestions to improve student safety and made the distinction between off & on campus. We all know this guy had not attacked the super-secure sorority housing which is why I made the distinction in the post.
U of I is the most important institution and employer in town. They have their own Safety & Sec unit and their own Campus Safety Team as well as a contract with MPD. (MPD convenes with the Dean of Students Office) I don't think it's beyond the wit of man to imagine pressure for improvements can be exerted in multiple ways that don't have to feature within a rental contract.
I know. Looks like you misinterpreted what I originally postedYes, the victims went to U of Idaho.
Also wherever there are campus police and departmental tie-ins - like the WSU Criminology internships with Pullman, then research projects which monitor and evaluate minor prowler & creeper incidents would be worthwhile. (Staff in that Dept already know the correlation between low level offending and progression to more serious crimes even though the 1122 tragedy itself is very, very rare )
Explain those multiple ways when the landlord is a private owner.
Plus U of I directly took property listings from the company which owned 1122 via its own ' Off-Campus Housing Marketplace' website ( Company - Team Idaho Real Estate & Property Management)Parents, and potential students, should take a look at Clery reporting when considering a college.
I sincerely hope that there will not be any photos of the Kaylee, Maddie, Xana or Ethan at the crime scene published by anyone. I don't think there will be, but you never know considering the leaks lately in this case.
"A new trove of secret documents in the Bryan Kohberger murder case
could be made public in the coming months
— including never-before-seen photographs of the victims.
Judge Steven Hippler said Monday
he was opening up the lengthy unsealing process,
starting with a first batch of 43 items.
He’s given prosecutors and Kohberger’s lawyers two weeks
to advocate for whether the records should be revealed
or remain hidden from the public."
Curious as to what the murderer might have been taking a picture of if BF saw the flash from under her door?I am the one who said that. I do realize it sounds far-fetched but nothing else in my mind addressed a flash like a camera, not tethered to a network. In the middle of the night, that could have sounded pretty loud. IDK JMOO
I'm sure that the OP will disagree with me but not IMO. Firecrackers bang, and loudly. Polaroids do not bang. They make a faint click and a whir. If firecrackers made faint click whirs, kids would hate them. JMO on that! lolso the member who said maybe he had a polaroid instant camera (for a reason why D saw the light under the crack of the door and thought it was a firecracker or something) may have been right?
Totally agree. Do you feel like they're trying to downplay the evidence they had against him to justify the plea deal?BBM
As for Thompson, it was released to media KB has been within 100 meters of that house 23+ times. I want to say to BT "that wasn't just pulled out of thin air."

No parent wants pictures of their deceased, dearly beloved child out on the internet for the ghouls to consume.
This Murderer has taken enough away from the victims, survivors, loved ones and entire community. It would be awful IMO to think photos of his crime scene 'handiwork' would be out there for general consumption.
I believe it would give this Murderer great satisfaction knowing they were though. I don't want him to have one more ounce of infamy or pleasure from his heinous actions period. I want him to go away, rot in prison, never to be heard from again until he's carried out in a pine box, sooner rather than later.

A new trove of secret documents in the Bryan Kohberger murder case could be made public in the coming months — including never-before-seen photographs of the victims.
The records include “photographs of each of the deceased victims and a photograph of the six victims together.”
The images of Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin — who were killed on Nov. 13, 2022 — and surviving roommates Bethany Funke and Dylan Mortensen were included as exhibits during Kohberger’s July 23 sentencing.

Thanks so much. I don't know what I was doing wrong!View attachment 606342
(Note that I took this screenshot for a post on July 29; since then, the Case Summary has been updated with a single entry on August 4, but the Financial Information is the same.)
Speaking of crime scene photos, one more reason to mark up as to why it's good this case did not go to trial.I sincerely hope that there will not be any photos of the Kaylee, Maddie, Xana or Ethan at the crime scene published by anyone.
