GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #114

BK was investigated, according to the linked source, beginning on January 10, 2023. It may have been a very thorough and convincing (but not entirely revealed) investigation that proved BK's lack of involvement in the 2021 incident, but this particular article leaves some room for doubt to creep in, in my view.

Is there a link somewhere indicating BK did not like to fly? Trying to remember if I've heard that. We know he motored across the country to WSU and back to PA, but I don't recall if not liking to fly was one of the reasons behind his choice.

"The investigation of Kohberger was brief, however, and shut down nine days later when the Graduate Program Coordinator informed Sgt. Engle that there was no record of the future criminology student attending any campus events that weekend.

Police did not appear to look into the possibility of Kohberger going on a non-sanctioned visit that weekend, which would have been while he was enrolled at DeSales University in Pennsylvania."

The Pullman break-in occurred just before 3:30 am on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The murderer was taking online classes at DeSales during the Fall 2021 semester (as part of the online Master of Arts in Criminal Justice program), so he could have easily made the trip without interrupting his classes.

I certainly wouldn’t put it past him to lie to his parents that he was visiting Pullman for a sanctioned event so they would pay for his air ticket, while all along he other plans in mind.

However, he didn’t buy the Ka-bar until March 2022, and the assailant was reportedly MUCH shorter:

The affidavit does not identify the intruder's gender, and the woman described the person’s height as between 5 feet, 3 inches and 5 feet, 5 inches.

I’m not sure. I think he may have wanted to have access to his car over the long winter break, which would explain why he insisted on driving back to PA.

The murderer certainly didn’t mind imposing greatly on his father’s good will, energy reserves and bank account by asking him to help make this cross-country drive in the middle of winter.

Of course, we know the real reasons the murderer didn’t want to leave his car back in Pullman:
  • He likely wouldn’t return to WSU.
  • He needed to finish cleaning the car in the privacy of his parents’ garage.
  • He didn’t risk Pullman LE confiscating the car before he had time to clean it thoroughly.

I missed that detail. Like running as in for exercise?
Yes. I recall that he used to jog for exercise. Found this looking for that:

prosecutors say data from a fitness app shows Kohberger once ran a mile in only six minutes.

Coffindaffer joins Banfield to discuss that in the video:

Here is his jogging partner. They did night runs for 6-7 miles at night.

Flying is completely tracked. MOO If he flew anywhere they would find it.

Thank you. Sadly i am unable to access the document. The document dump for the Idaho.gov site seems to be restricted in my country. Thanks again

I know this isn't how it works but I have zero patience for a defendant/felon objecting to a rapid knock and entry arrest.

He afforded his victims no warning.

He has a gun downstairs. MOO Only luck had unloaded. The Moscow crime is so violent that killing his parents or using them as hostages to obtain a day of barricading before arrest is feasible.

Yep.
Sure, he is a deranged criminal
but...
that does NOT exactly mean
we can pin ALL attacks happening in the area on him, right?

Of course right.

241 – [This is a strange one] Tip from an “RT” a real estate agent – RT was driving his nephew who was dying from cancer from FL to west coast, saw for sale sign in Moscow and stopped by the 1122 King Rd property on way to and from FL. Claims he saw BK and BK’s father outside 1122 King Road on both occasions. RT then asked when the homicides occurred and changed the time these events happened from July to November. Then stated his nephew has passed away 8 years earlier. So….

Multiple thanks again, @LeahBee.

As you stated, this one from part 5 is making no sense to me at all.

Unfortunately it does strike me as someone inserting himself into the narrative.

The victim said initially she almost thought the intruder was female, that's probably why the gender was left blank. She described the knife as just slightly bigger than a steak knife.

Are you able to access them from this Google Drive site?

The Idaho court docs are also available in the Google Drive linked by @Ellis' Mom:

Link to Google Drive

The links in the Google spreadsheet go to the same exact files as the links on the Idaho Cases of Interest page.

Unfortunately, this won’t help you, @IndigoHigh, since you can’t view these files, but accessing the court docs and Moscow Police files from the same Google drive might be convenient to others.

I am happy to post screenshots of any court doc, by the way. Just DM me, or ask here if you think it’s of general interest.
