I don't know what to think anymore.Do you think that footprint could have been Hunter's after he was in XK's room checking for pulses?

No ammo, though he did have 3 cartridges.Yes, that is a serious consideration and I'm sure the LE were on guard about a possible gun. I don't mean to make light of it in that regard.
Just the image of a heinous multi-murderer running to his basement bedroom makes me roll my eyes.

This is how all future investigations should work. No reason to waste time.Great deep dive into the Idaho4 investigation, laying out the timeline with more specificity than we've previously had, and debunking some things that many of us thought were probably true.
A small police department can't solve a case like this immediately, but they sure as hell can screw it up. Fortunately, they knew they were overmatched right away, and brought in the big guns.
The house was sealed, and not even Chief Fry was allowed inside until investigators arrived, and a search warrant was approved. People who needed to be interviewed were identified, and the roommates, friends, and family members were quickly brought to the station.
What I found surprising was just how quickly the IGG work started. The DNA results came back on the 20th of November, and after a CODIS upload failed to generate a match, the sample was delivered to Othram two days later.
Investigators had Kohberger's name on December, 19, and began surveillance a day later. He was spotted walking around the neighborhood late at night in dark clothing, but was not seen cleaning his car with bleach, nor was he spotted throwing his trash in his neighbor's garbage cans. When police raided the house, Kohberger attempted to make a break for it, trying to get downstairs to his basement bedroom.
They searched damn near everywhere for the knife, and are convinced that Xana did in fact go upstairs and disrupt Kohberger.
“She certainly did go up the stairs,” Gilbertson said. “Fortunately, that’s what stopped him up there and caused him to screw up and leave the knife sheath, was either hearing or seeing Xana. And then that took his attention away, and he followed her down the stairs to her bedroom.”
Now that's interesting. I've got to go back to my timeline.I know I've seen the info in a news source, but I have this reference right in front of me:
From Patterson's book:
So, on November 25, the day after Thanksgiving, the chief approves a message to local law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for this specific car. Four days later, in the early hours of November 29, over in Pullman, Washington, WSU police officer Daniel Tiengo searches for white Elantras registered at the university. He sees that one, a 2015 model, belongs to a student named Bryan Kohberger. A colleague of Tiengo’s, Officer Curtis Whitman, spots the actual vehicle in a Pullman student-housing parking lot. He logs it. But white cars are ubiquitous. So are Hyundai Elantras. So, since this car appears to be a model from the wrong year, the Pullman cops don’t pass this up the food chain to Moscow. They don’t yet know that the FBI vehicle specialist has in fact now conveyed to his agency that it’s possible, given the shape of the fog light and rear reflectors in the available images, that they should extend the date range of the Hyundai Elantra to as late as 2016.

No, it means that they aren't going to do a darned thing about his discomfort. Good! Erin Patterson also complains about the temperature of her prison, like it's a Ritz-Carlton hotel. That's mildly disappointing.
I think it's possible that he felt rage toward any woman who didn't respect him as a power and authority.I think the rage he showed towards KG was because MM was his target and she "ruined" his plans for the night.
It's time to request a sarcastic boo-hoo emoji from Tricia. Or maybe a tiny violin? Anyone have any pull? No, it means that they aren't going to do a darned thing about his discomfort. Good! Erin Patterson also complains about the temperature of her prison, like it's a Ritz-Carlton hotel.
Snipped
The author must be feeling so horrified that her book and her words were misinterpreted and misused! She never meant get over your fear and anger of murdering someone and go do it!

I had no idea and am a bit surprised how closely they were in touch, BK and his Mother, and wonder with the timing and length of their calls (just he & Mother, not both of “his parents” possibly, as I had understood before) now being revealed….
Whether he was discussing with her some of what he did, even if painting it differently than him being the perp (e.g., “I just witnessed…” “I was out stargazing and…” “I saw on SM there were these horrific murders near me….”, and needed her advice and support to get through that morning, and then took the selfie after cleaning up and modeling a new shirt IIRC she gave him (or gave him $ for?) to show to “Mother” he was okay. Wow…. MOO
“Bryan Kohberger Called His Mother After Idaho Murders — Once When He Got Home and Again While Driving Back to Crime Scene (Exclusive)
…….
- Heather Barnhart, the digital forensics expert who led the team tasked with examining Bryan Kohberger's phone and hard drive, is speaking to PEOPLE about the case
- Barnhart says that Kohberger called his mother at 6:17 a.m. on Nov. 13, 2022, less than two hours after murdering four University of Idaho students
- Her investigation also discovered that Kohberger called his mother again for 54 minutes at 8:03 a.m., which would have been when he returned to the crime scene that morning
He had his parents saved as "Mother" and "Father" in his phone, says Barnhart, and would often call his mother first followed immediately after by his father if he did not get an answer.
"And he would go back and forth texting: 'Father, why did mother not respond? Why is she not answering the phone?" Barnhart says.
…….
The timing of that call means that Kohberger would have been speaking with his mother while in his car driving back to the scene of the crime.
….
The two spoke for two minutes at 4:05 p.m. and at 5:53 p.m. had their final conversation, which lasted 96 minutes.
By the end of that day, Kohberger and his mother had spoken on the phone for well over three hours.”

I think it is possible he no longer saw some women as people at all.
I’m not even sure he thinks of his parents as people.
Exactly! Hunter said he went to the kitchen to get a knife in case the murderer was still in the house. (Supp 42 of MPD reports). He could have followed a similar path as the murderer, right past Dylan’s door.Do you think that footprint could have been Hunter's after he was in XK's room checking for pulses?
