LOL, I don't know! I was under the impression that in the high-security side at least, lights are on all the time. But don't take my word for it. I'm willfully uninformed about prison life and might be making assumptions.

( BK had an office downstairs in the same building)

In regular cells during bedtime the lights are turned off.

No but she seems to be the second gay woman that he's really focused on.
She says that he knew she was gay, he knew she had a female partner but still he persisted and she found that strange. Plus she says BK had reputation for being ' very homophobic' ( TA Ben said BK was homophobic)

Wonder why? Challenge? Refusal to recognize or accept?

She also says he knows her schedule too & she doesn't know how.
She doesn't mention any fights she had with him, sounds like she was always diplomatic or avoided or hid

I don't have any idea why he would pursue a gay woman who clearly indicated she was not interested but I doubt his pursuit was with intention of being nice to her.

I'm glad her instincts told her to avoid, report, and take caution.

I watched and listened even though I have seen it before. I have new questions but my dog listened intently until Murphy stopped or the video did.. She told me what he said (danger, stranger, he is scared, trying to get responses from loves ones) with an exaggerated response. It is unlike her to listen so closely and then respond. JMOO

I request a transfer to B-Block immediately. Wish to speak with you soon.”

I honestly thought he would be dumb (dumb as in numb, not noticing) to it all. Wrong. It's bothering him.

Funny how he thinks he can make a request like switching rooms at a hotel.

Having difficulty adjusting to prison, is he? I hope this can bring even more sense of justice and karma to the families, particularly the ones who did not want him in prison. Will he experience even 1/10th fear that XK did fighting for her life, what KG did, what DM heard that will terrify her for the rest of her life? The survivors will never get a good night's sleep again, thinking that they will wake up and have a masked killer with that knife standing above them. The parents and friends knowing what happened to their loved ones.

It is also not lost that some of his complaints stem from some threats that, when you look at his Google searches of what appealed to him to do to women and his searches for Danny Rolling, who assaulted his deceased victims, the gall to now complain about that in jail. Likely why he attacked KG as he did for being so angry her presence ruined his sick fantasy.

Thinking how cruel he was to so many and made many more feel so uncomfortable. The joy he took belittling people, particularly women. Scaring them.

Complaining to the guards early on will get you nowhere and negative attention too, not to mention the wrong kind of attention from the guards. Sometimes I am having a hard time believing these reports.

I'm surprised he didn't realize what it means to be in such a prison

And to think he had so much:
- supportive family
- education
- nice & cheap University apartment
- prospects for interesting job
- position of TA paying for his studies

Nine days before their murders, the three young women killed by Bryan Kohberger, along with their two surviving roommates, found themselves searching their home for a burglar.

One of those surviving roommates, Dylan Mortensen, recalled the incident while speaking with Det. Vicki Gooch of the Idaho State Police in a newly unsealed interview obtained by PEOPLE.
