GH is reading documents.

There was blood on the wall on the staircase and, in it, a hair.

Perhaps that's what Dateline scripted into XK being on the staircase.

Although there's no indication -- at least in what GH is reading -- of whose blood or hair -- or whether it was tested and with what results.

Interesting anyway.

GH posted this a few days ago. He opens with the photographs of the rock steps at the Arboretum. The corresponding report explains that LE responded to the location from a tip about a week after the murders. While the drops looked like blood, they tested negative for the presence of it.

38m video (starts with the explanation of those droplets)

I was born and raised in PA and I can tell you that they do have driving laws lol.
Are you certain? Because, you know, #163214 is the smartest guy in the room.

I agree completely. So many possibilities. Something drew him to that house. I don't know what but I'm certain it wasn't happenstance.

The victims Maddie/Kaylee. He didn't randomly choose that house.

Tons of reddish-brown stains on items.

Given all the small abrasions on his hands that people noticed both before and after the murders, that doesn't surprise me. Not to mention--one fun little way that OCD can manifest is skin picking. Right now my eldest's upper arms look awful because of this....and there are currently little red-brown stains on his bedsheets as a result. So, possible. *shrug*

Exactly. Her denial doesn't mean that he wasn't there. She just didn't want to associate him with her business.
They truly may have not had any record (cc receipt) from the murderer or anyone noticing him in particular. I can totally understand how they would not want to associate him with their business. :(

Is the restaurant still open today? I was thinking it closed.

Research papers Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger wrote as part of his studies at Washington State University were released and shed light into his study of criminal justice -- and some of the topics connect back to his crimes.

I'm only a few minutes in. This is really disturbing.

It's like he wrote about himself, his motives and long paragraphs about non-contact sexual motives -- voyeurism, fetishism, transvestism.

My takeaway so far, just how intentionally he committed these crimes. Full awareness, full possession of his (sick?) faculties, full awareness of the gravity of it.

Ha!

Two professors call him out for but referencing the book he was supposed to have read!

He's a special kind of smartest-man smart man, that he didn't think he needed to bother reading lesser works.

Instructor disagreed. Nice 80%, Bryem.

Google seems to think it's permanently closed, but the MG FB page says they are open. Likely they just never posted they were closing, which seems odd.

It also looks like they were doing a catering event on 4/8 by reading one of the MG's posts.

I noticed on their FB page on Jan 15, that they were selling a bunch of things, things like kitchen items, oven, tables, chairs, booths, grills, freezers, etc., i.e., things they'd sell if the restaurant were closing down. Looked like everything basically.

If there's anything I've learned from following cases on this site, it's that you can never be totally sure what a jury is going to do
Learned that lesson the hard way from the Casey Anthony trial. 😞

Yes, and IMO, the same with O.J. Simpson.

We never truly know what jurors will decide, even if it seems 1000% obvious to us when someone is clearly guilty, thanks to DNA and modern technology.

Even in O.J.’s day, it seemed sure that he was the murderer.

As things have settled down now with the prisoner having pled guilty on all counts, I do find myself relieved.

I think even Steve Goncalves is relieved now, as he was rejoicing in BK’s misery in prison.
