Something is bothering me from the PCA. I believe Brett Payne said XK was found with her feet facing the east and her head facing the west. This has always bothered me.

I then read recently that both KG and MM were found with their feet to the east and heads to the west. I don't think it would be possible for this to happen coincidentally.

Is this part of the reason they thought they were dealing with a serial killer originally? Evidence of posing. I would like this to stop bothering me. Just throwing it out there. JMOO

The other weird thing is that I always thought people got stabbed in the torso maybe some unusual spots. But I can't make sense of being stabbed in the head. Is this evidence of overkill or frenzy? It is just so illogical. JMOO

Kaylee and Maddy were attacked in bed and probably not able to get out of bed or change position after being stabbed and it makes sense that they were both facing the same direction

if Xana was facing the same direction, it could be just a coincidence - I don't think he had time to pose the girls considering how fast they think he was able to murder them all

however, I still have a hard time believing how fast they think he was, so there's that

Stabbing murders of this nature aren't about logic, they're about extreme violence and brutality.

In terms of stabbing in the head, I know of one case specifically that included it, and it was also a case of home invasion and stranger killing, though this was committed by a pair of teens.

There are differences, in that in the Dartmouth case the killers entered by deception in the day and attacked the couple when they were awake, but there are plenty of similarities. The planning, the fantasising, the lack of sexual assault, the extreme violence and overkill. The killers also left their sheaths at the scene.

  • Bryan Kohberger took a plea deal just days after seeing the prosecution's witness list for the guilt phase of his trial, which revealed his sister Amanda could be called to testify.
  • A newly unsealed document reveals the names on that list, of which Amanda is the lone Kohberger family member, likely because her brother allegedly stole her phone in 2014.
  • Amanda was also included on Kohberger's list of mitigation witnesses, whose testimony he hoped would decrease his culpability should he be convicted of murder.
