Police find suspect Steven Stephens in Facebook Live homicide dead in Erie PA

 • #801
If she told news organizations that he was a mentally-disturbed 🤬🤬🤬, he could become more homicidal. Whether or not she believed he was a nice guy, she said the right thing to not incite him to further escalate.

Great point.

Nothing on CNN yet

(Still catching up but I'm not surprised at this with CNN. Often they seem to be later in the game to report, and often it's just minimal info or rehash from other outlets, if not flat out misinformation. Moo.)

Was just reading the updated article. They have more information in it now. Looks like SS never got his Fries

"In an interview with GoErie.com, the McDonald's manager later reported that while calling 9-1-1, workers told Stephens they were waiting for his fries and he'd have to wait a moment. Stephens said he didn't have time, and left the restaurant drive-thru without them."

It figures food brought him out of hiding. He did have money on him. He had to know he was going to get caught today so last meal.
Is it wrong of me to be slightly satisfied that his last meal was a crappy one?

I had to delete your images above in order to post these next few.

3.) I searched Payne Ave and went the length of it. there is no 42nd st off of Payne - skips from 41 to 43. So, maybe his mind was slipping on the street name. There is another 42nd E and W in Cleveland but I didn't check into it as I was working off of Payne. Best lead. Looked all over for abandoned buildings off of 41st and 43rd streets. Found two possible without going too far down either street. Mostly industrial and warehouses there. There are a couple of old buildings that might qualify as well. I think these are off of 41st and Payne. 1616 E 41st Street is the Yellow looking one. The other is 1598 E 41st.

(You guys were smart to note that when I was all mad about her saying "he really is a nice guy" that it was probably in order to not further incite him, etc, and perhaps advised by LE...I was so irritated I didn't even think of that at the time, and I went to bed stewing he "really is a nice guy? Pa-leeeese! I doubt Mr. Godwin's family feels the same way or wants to hear this right now!!" I even tried to get up outo bed and turn my device back on to post "Pa-leeeease!" but my battery was dead lol. I love how we can help balance each other out sometimes.)

I'm holding back my comments on the fact he shot himself at maccas and had ordered 20 nuggets and he didn't get his fries.

Apt ending for a chicken ****

Very glad nobody else was hurt.

I won't be surprised if more bodies show up.

Nor am I surprised at the rumor...reminds me of the Orlando shooter....remember Carl, we were discussing homophobia, etc in that thread?

I'm so wondering if he still had his phones on him and what if anything LE will be able to get off of them. Like was he in contact with anyone?

This killing is no worse then all the drive-by shootings that happen almost on a daily basis here in CA, gangs killing children playing in their own yards, babies, and other innocent people minding their own business walking down the streets who got in the way of gunfire.

Sadly the many killings of innocents from gangs aren't posted on social media but are just as horrible.
