Police think George, Lee, and Cindy know more than they are telling!

I think equally important in this article is Cindy's quote that law enforcement doesn't believe the evidence found in the car's trunk is proof that Caylee is dead or that Casey killed her.
I thought more of you would also comment on that statement. Do any of you believe LE would tell Cindy this or is this just something from CindyLand?

Cindy Anthony told D'Onofrio that Orange County sheriff's detectives admitted to her that the evidence found in Casey Anthony's car -- the smell of death, a stain, decomposition of human remains -- does not prove that Caylee is dead or that Casey Anthony killed her.

Nejames was hired for a reason, Gearge and Cindy are both guilty of obstructing justice ..
I'm not so sure of Lee ..

What I find strange is that on the witness list that was released this week only GA has MN beside his name. CA does not. I have always thought that CA did not want anything to do with MN.

I *think* I do remember that .. :waitasec:

I just listened to GA's interview from July 22nd again today, He said that to LE in that interview when he was apologizing tot hem about Cindy's antics.

HTH's!

Maybe he was switching between lawyers? No way he doesn't have one. My opinion only, of course.

I love that we can agree to disagree but I'm almost 100% positive that LA has not had a lawyer or is switching between lawyers. He thinks he is smart enough to not retain one. Just like he did some investigation on his own on behalf of the A's.

Until Caylee's remains are found then CA is going to think this and say whatever to spin things. MOO

I agree on this. I wonder if MN didn't say to them that he'd represent GA but since CA keeps running her mouth there isn't anything he can do to help her :bang:

Keep in mind that GA was in LE over 20 years ago. 20 years ago, most people were just beginning to understand what a computer was...

Wouldn't have helped GA if my Dad was investigating - ACTUALLY cops hate dirty cops, they hate cops that get over - they do not always protect their own - when a small child is involved, I'd bet that the cops don't care if he's an ex cop no matter how many years ago

My Dad would get pulled over for speeding, and he is a led foot - his license is in the same wallet as his badge - he would pull it out and the cop who stopped him would see the badge and tell him to drive more carefully - my Dad would thank him, move on his way and then call the Chief in that area and bust out the cop - my Dad one time, a story he told me, going 50 mph over the speed limit - my Dad says if he's on a chase, okay (which I've been on one, even when he slapped his red light in the window - it was a trip) but not just to let him go just because he's a cop

They would expect more from GA when it comes to honesty

Oh, no doubt in the world...that's Cindyspeak. They said a few words, she rearranged them into something that fit her story.

Never say never. You could be right. If you are, he really is a fool!

Cindy Anthony told D'Onofrio that Orange County sheriff's detectives admitted to her that the evidence found in Casey Anthony's car -- the smell of death, a stain, decomposition of human remains -- does not prove that Caylee is dead or that Casey Anthony killed her.

Depending on the date of that statement, if there was one, but depending on the date and the question that is being asked they may have said that early on. Not in a "hey now, don't you worry just because the car smells like something died in it doesn't mean it is Caylee or that Casey killed her, there could be a very logical explanation, don't you fret just yet" sort of a way.

But if Cindy said early on that the smell didn't mean those two things, you would have to agree technically, the smell in and of itself doesn't lead to that one conclusion.

As far as Lee and him having an attorney, I have not seen any proof of that being the case. We have seen that he refused to submit DNA with a search warrant, but we have not seen a search warrant unless I missed that? Were they able to compel him to do so? We had a murder within our family and they did not get search warrants for the members that did not voluntarily comply. They weren't able to.

I'm sure CA is MN biggest nightmare. IMO, I have only seen MN with GA. He was with him at the GJ and right beside him while doing interviews. CA....Not to much. When CA does her interviews he is never shown. This doesn't make sense to me from my point of view of saying you are the lawyer for both of them but he only appears along side of GA.

NO! I do not think there is anything corrupt about LE that keeps the A fam from talking...their involvement and knowledge does!! I think they have hidden and covered a lot tho which LE has known all along. I do not think the tactics of the way LE has handled them has been anything except text book. Enough rope to hang themselves...

They have already subpoenaed the transcripts from NG for trial. This should tell us they are using someone's words against them and we know the perp wasn't on her show. ;)

Let me add a few other thoughts in addition to yours. What would LE have to gain by this? How can they be corrupt when we all heard everything straight from Casey's own mouth? The Anthony's requested the FBI be brought in yet that still isn't good enough. Their test results are hocus pocus. LE being corrupt, incompetent, etc. is exactly what Cindy and Casey want the world to believe. When George was interviewed he admitted Cindy was telling mistruths to the media and totally out of line. He himself said that she got worse if he tried to interfere. LE were the ones to point out that it is about Caylee and not the media circus Cindy was creating.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this theory is improbable in this particular case. The same defense was tried in the Scott Peterson trial. Didn't work for them it isn't going to work here.

snipped:

There are reports that Casey Anthony is going to get to talk to investigators who are not with Orange County Sheriff's Office. Apparently she has told her parents that she doesn't trust the sheriff's office, but would be willing to talk to the FBI.

Hmm! Wouldn't that be interesting. Casey talking to the FBI. I hope she realizes it's not a good idea to "lie" to the FBI. :behindbar

Here is the snipped part on how MN became involved with the A's:

In another twist of events Wednesday, FOX 35's Cheryl Getuiza learned that Cindy and George Anthony visited Mark Nejame, a prominent Orlando attorney.

A close family friend made the introduction.

Nejame said the visit was not to talk about future representation for Anthony, but was instead a question-and-answer period for the Anthonys who seeked advice on how to focus the attention back to finding their missing granddaughter.

"I think that's why the grandparents came to see us because we do have the knowledge and resources to assist them and maybe give them some guidance and help them get through this mess and total lack of privacy and this inability to grieve," Nejame said.

~~It has also been reported that they are not paying for him and that the Never Lose Hope Foundation is footing the bill. Makes you go hmmmm....Does this family pay for anything on their own?

I don't think LA is a fool if he doesn't have a lawyer. If he tells the truth and doesn't have anything to hide, he doesn't need a lawyer.

When they don't believe you're innocent, try proving the other side is guilty.

I thought that she said that she would talk to the FBI way-back-when she was first incarcerated???

Casey said that early after being arrested, apparantly thinking the FBI wouldn't care about such a piddly little thing like a missing toddler, cause once they showed up to talk her her interest in talking to them sure dried up. That was just an attempt at explaining away her refusal to help LE. Gee mommy I would like to tell them but I can't trust them, I could only talk to the FBI.... oh, they are here to talk to me, um, well, um, LE contacted them to come so I don't trust them either.

It wasn't a good idea to mention the FBI in the 1st place. I sure wouldn't want the FBI working on anything that had to do with me. :nono:
