Police think George, Lee, and Cindy know more than they are telling!

I have not read the whole thread yet, but this one I just have to address: that is one nasty accusation, even if you are just 'wondering'. Det. Melich, Det. Allen and every other LE officer involved in this case are doing all they can to find the answers. Why have they not pushed GA, CA, LA and even Casey harder? Because someone would sure enough scream police harassment if they did. Casey lawyered up immediately - they haven't been able to interview her since she was arrested the first time. In the beginning, While they knew Casey was lying through her teeth, they still had to take into account that Caylee might still be out there somehwere alive when they were dealing with the family. No matter what people think, these are not hardened criminals and LE just can't use overbearing tactics with them. If they did, it would be way to easy for a good defense attorney to turn that back on them in court and possibly get any statement they made thrown out. I don't care if you say you don't think LE is doing a good job, I would just disagree, but to accuse them of corruption - that is going way overboard and completely uncalled for. You might want to think about editing your post.

Casey "lawyered up" because LE charged her with the "economic" crimes. They could have questioned her for a lot longer with a really good interrogator....the ones who did interview her seemed more prone to "gotchas"...talking over her and pointing out her obvious lies. Not very astute or intuitive. She was very overtly lying about just about everything. Perhaps they wouldn't have gotten her to talk honestly....we'll never know because, imho, they blew it from the getgo.

As far as this reporter claiming that "investigators" think the Anthonys are hiding something...why doesn't she say who? Which investigators? The ones who have been quoted, the ones on TV...all have said that the Anthonys are not suspects. If they have belatedly become suspect, why haven't they been called in for further questioning> I think this "reporter" is another sensationalist

I would think right up before the trial. Annie D. statement to police has not been revealed but she has spoken to LE. So that is one. Any lawyers know this answer?

There's really not much LE can do to make them cooperate.

But I bet, the prosecution will work this into the case against Casey.... the changing stories, the way the jury can't really believe anything Casey OR Cindy says.

I have always thought the same. LE constantly talks over Casey in the interrogation. They provide more information than she does in them.

Sheesh, at every turn Casey is blabbing stuff to anyone within earshot, if LE had given her the space in the interrogation she might have let a lot more clues out.

If Annie could clear up one thing it would be whether or not Casey was using drugs and if she knew where Casey was obtaining them. If she was the one who provided them then I can almost guarantee that she was offered some sort of immunity for her testimony. She can also tell us what things Casey SAID to her in those last few weeks either preceding or after the 15th of June. She can clear up if Casey said anything about her reasons for the tattoo and the signifigance of it. She can clear up when were the times when she watched Caylee and when was the last time she saw her. She can tell us if she SMELLED the car or if Casey made any reference to it. As one of Casey's very best gal pals, there is MUCH that she can clear up...and since her interview (s) was (were) not released in any of the previous document dumps, we can assume she IS going to at least clear up SOMETHING...

Yes, very. I believe that GA probably didn't think this was strange b/c he has probably always dealt with this since getting married and especially after the kids were born. To me CA wants to be the main friend oops I mean parent so she has always been the one to cover up the kids faults and mistakes leaving GA not to be aware of any of it.

If Cindy could make GA not call LE after KC stole $4,000 from him, she could easily get him to go to work.

Cindy covered up everything KC did from GA and it has all come back to bite her in the butt. She lost the thing most precious to her because of her cover-ups and she is going to get KC that needle if she does not shut up and tell the truth soon.

I guess they didn't have anything they could be charged by LE for.........that does not mean they don't have something to contribute to the case.

The truth is we don't know WHAT they were offered.
