Poll: Was Shannan Gilbert Murdered?

A few years ago someone on this forum claimed Shannan was seen by brewer's friends hanging out with him in the days before her murder. So I dont think this was Shannan's first time meeting JB. Did Pak know brewer? They would not drive out to Oak Beach without knowing him and these reports of shannan being seen with JB point to that also.

I have followed this case since the beginning and this is the first time I have ever heard this rumor. Can you provide a link to the person making the comment? Since Shannan did not know where she was that night and told the dispatcher she thought she was on Fire Island, I am lead to believe she had never been to Oak Beach before.

It's my understanding that JB was Pak's contact and that JB contacted Pak for the purpose of hiring SG. (I base that on the A&E special and the 48 Hours program. Pak seemed to be JB's link to SG. Also, Pak stated that the main reason they (or SG) decided to go that was bc JB offered more money than SG's usual fee. So, I absolutely believe that JB and Pak were acquainted. This may also explain why Pak didn't come to her aid when he, himself, stated that he saw JB grab SG in a strange way (which was captured on the 911 call.) Also could be why Pak didn't immediately raise alarm bells that very night. The whole thing stinks.

Giagreen i know you've spent a great deal of time researching this case and while you and I didn't exactly start off on the right foot, I have come to realize that you have a vast FACTUAL knowledge of this case and I respect your opinion. I'm really curious what your theory is on who was connected to who PRIOR to SG's 911 call. I'm not really familiar with the inner workings of escorts but it seems odd that JB would even have Paks cell number in the first place. Idk but I would think that the details would be worked out between the girl and client and that the driver would just drive. What are your thoughts on that and let me know if I missed something.

Forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong place but what do you guys think about the fact that after SG went missing, 2 more girls are dumped there? What does this say about those involved in SGs case? If SG was murdered (imo she was) by the same person, this is one brazen, cocky person to continue to do this when he had JUST about let one get away. At that time, he had no way of knowing if his dumping ground would be under extreme scrutiny by law enforcement. How did he know that he could safely dump more girls? And what's really maddening is maybe if the place was swarming with law enforcement when SG disappeared, those last two maybe alive. Idk...I'm just rambling.

Very true. There's been so much speculation in this case that fact and fiction are starting to blur together.

As we all know, with any homicide investigation LE keeps "hold back evidence" something that isn't released and is only known by those closest to the investigation, providing it hasn't already been leaked and providing that they actually have something, I'd LOVE to know what it is!

What do you all think about the unsolved murders of prostitutes in New Mexico in possible relation to the LISK murders? In 2009 11 bodies were found buried together in the West Mesa desert. Through Google earth they can tell that the bodies were buried between 2003 - 2005. I found this information by watching Dateline "Someone's Daughter." Can't deny the similarities but as we know, there is no shortage of prostitutes being murdered.

I don't believe that SG was the only girl MP drove to appointments. I believe he was either part of a livery service, as just one of their drivers, or he ran his own little service.

It seems as if no one has ever been able to find info on Pak as far as his driving around escorts go.
I've personally decided that I think he prob put his serves up on cl him self as a driver and drove other girls as well. I always got the impression this whole thing was so every one was free from working for a company.
Who knows maybe MP worked as a driver for JB as well. idk
