Mali is an interesting one. Is she protecting her husband just because she loves him or also because she too believes in the sov cit ideology like him?
DBM
God you've got good eyesight. I think too big for a person, maybe a cow or is it another device on a pole but we didn't see it being put up. Good spotting. Whatever it is it's still in the same spot 10 minutes later.

If Mali does know something and gets convicted of protecting her husband I think the kids can say goodbye to seeing either of their parents at home again for many years.

I think it was the wind sock @Marg944, so don't call the cops just yet for the reward money :)

See the bizarre new photos of cop killer Dezi Freeman living wild in the bush - as the massive hunt for Australia's most wanted gunman enters its fourth week

Never-before-seen photographs obtained by the Daily Mail reveal the secret life of fugitive cop killer Dezi Freeman as he honed his survival skills in the wild that have kept him one step ahead of the massive police hunt to find him.

The images, taken over decades, show the 56-year-old father-of-three as a bush wildman, often naked or wearing just a loincloth in the rugged outdoors.

Friends say Freeman never packed his car for camping trips but would instead simply disappear into the wilderness to rely only on his wits and bush wisdom, often staying off the grid for weeks on end.

'Dezi doesn't go to Anaconda and stock up,' a friend told Daily Mail. 'There are no tents or eskies full of food or any creature comforts at all.

'He just walks into the bush and that's it.'

Those same skills are now fuelling one of the largest searches in Australian history after Freeman gunned down two police officers in cold blood before vanishing.

Not a single trace of him has been found since, as the manhunt for him entered its fourth week on Tuesday.”

Wow... I have no words.

But, interesting that the article states he never packed for camping trips / survived in the bush for weeks on end. All of his friends / associates seem to say the same things about him and survivalism. Well, I guess the truth is in the pudding.

Edit: So I'm noticing more of a pattern about Dezi and Native American culture.

One of his facebook pages has a public post about a movie called I Will Fight No More Forever. He also made a post showing of his Native American Teepee. And now these new photos, some of them have a bit of a Native American theme.

'He actually dropped out of school in Year Eight, something he brags about all the time, but he loved martial arts and it is the only thing he has ever really stuck to,' the friend added.

'He never had a job and his entire life has been dedicated to learning the skills to live off the land and fend for himself.'

Probably his whole life has been living off our taxes while contributing none himself. imo

What about the totally naked one?

This one looks like it has cave drawings on the rock face behind him (from the DailyMail article):

It irks me that he was running around in loin cloths, kayaking, enjoying physical challenges in nature ... and we were/are all supporting him financially to do so.

Who wouldn't like a life of enjoying life while dole bludging?

imo

Did you see any photos of him wearing bathers.
After all, that is what this case seems to be all about.

He could park his slippers near my bed. LOL Even tho he has probably never worn slippers in his life.

And then ring the cops and give them your address.

Doesn't that prove that the pension works? As it enables him to have enough financial breathing space to pursue these rather cheap hobbies.

What I can't understand is that if the airport camera/telecommunications setup is used to contact people in the bush then why isn't someone there all day (and night)?
So I think it must be a camera and someone goes there each day to check the images.
But I also I don't think it takes two and sometimes 3 cars with police to check images.
There would be no localised images to see and I don't think it is a microwave or heat sensing device for peering into the bush.
If the police wont say, I would love a reporter to find out what it is.
(Are you there Jonica? :))
