Possible Kyron Sightings

Just putting this out there IF Kyron were "stashed" with SOMEONE(S) IMO Terri has ZERO contact or communication with the SOMEONE(S) that has him.. It just is absolutely NOT possible...IMO

Remember the "Sabrina" abduction, the 8-9month old baby abducted from her bed, in the middle of the night, door left wide open, Florida, and to this day never found, nor anyone ever charged with anything associated...
The reason I bring it up is their home WAS EVEN BUGGED (as LE has always thought they were responsible)..
So, I'd think it quite possible that LE has done quite similarly with Terri.. So, she's surveilled 24/7 IMO and all communications also being surveilled(lol. don't even think thats a word.. oh well u get the point).. I mean even if she was using good ol' "snail mail" that it was somehow being watched, also. for sure it could be subponeaed... I don't know. I don't know what to think or believe at this point, but am almost certain that if Terri were to have had ANY contact or communications with SOMEONE(S) that with what all LE is putting into this investigation , that LE would definitely know of such contact or communications....JMO

As I said am just putting this out there. Am not responding or referring to any one post in general just more so about likelyhood(or UNlikelyhood) of their being contact and communication

ITA about TH having no contact with whomever she may have stashed him with. Doesn't mean she didn't communicate in the beginning with them. That's what I was referring to, that IF she did "stash" (quoting Desiree, not a word I'd use) him with someone, I would certainly think she would have told whomever it was in the very begining, DO NOT TAKE HIM ANYWHERE; KEEP HIM HIDDEN.

Googling Estacada and the date I see multiple mentions of a horse auction that weekend.

I saw that earlier, but I think the original poster didn't really want to say where the siting was so as not to compromise any investigation that may actually come from this siting. :)

That's the way I took her posts anyhow.

Rnmif, did you say what this young boy was wearing? Or do you remember?

I had the sense he was wearing jeans, but he was standing right next to our chairs, I could only really see his shirt. I may have seen it as he walked away with the adults, but the adults I remember more clearly and they were wearing jeans, so.... I don't know?

He was definitely wearing a black shirt with a large graphic. When I saw that the photo was of the day he went missing, I nearly... um, lost control of bodily functions, because it COULD have been the same shirt.

My son swears it was a Star Wars shirt, but who has made Star Wars shirts in the last 10 years for little boys? It was a newer shirt in good repair, not an old one handed down. The graphic on it was not cracked or missing.

Unfortunately I had no idea what was on the graphic, for all I know, my son is right. It's the problem with the autistic mind, they categorize things differently. It's like he'll get stuck in a negative feedback loop, so because the little boy was talking about my son's Lego Star Wars game, everything connected with him is lego and Star Wars.

He has unusually reliable recall, but knowing what got into his brain and why is a different story. :)

I thought it was plausible it was the same shirt, but that CSI shirt to me could be anything from a Cyborg to a rock concert. It wouldn't have attracted my attention, it's too busy, and not representing a subject I would have taken particular note of. If he'd had an animal or car on the front, I would have remembered that, but all I'm sure of is it was a black shirt (and my son DID confirm that part) with a very large graphic. We just disagree about what the graphic was (or, more accurately, he has a clear memory, reliable or not, and I don't!).

My son has a star wars shirt (new). It is star wars lego and has a big picture of darth vader. Is your son able to describe the shirt?

I am pretty sure that you can get new Star Wars t-shirts at Walmart

Well the only thing I'm accused of more than being oblivious and verbose is culturally illiterate. :)

Thanks ladies. Sorry for displaying my idiocy quite so publicly. :)

.

Target does.
Both of my boys have them.
It's retro chic.
So yes, the boy you saw could have been wearing a new Star Wars shirt made to look retro.

The man was a dead-ringer for Kaine, except that he had at least 1-3 days stubble. Although looking at Kaine, I'd say he was maybe 20 lbs thinner but of the same tall lanky build. Then again, the person I saw was wearing a jean jacket. And a ball cap, again, low over his eyes. Both of which may have been enough to fool me about his weight a bit.

Kaine is not what I would call tall and lanky. He is of average build, I would say no more than 5'9"... and definitely not "lanky".....not heavy-set, but not skinny either. Average, best I can describe it.

Yes, to me Kaine is not tall, no more than 5'9" IMO.

I don't mean to be rude or dismissive, but I just can't imagine that Kyron would be out and about in June, much less with any of his parents. I don't think he will be out and about anywhere, at any time, personally, but defintely not in public places.

If he is alive, and I have very little hope that he is, he is either far from Portland, or in deep hiding nearby, and I just don't see either as likely.

But that's just my opinion and of course LE should follow up on any and all possible sightings. Although tip-wise, I think they are hoping for tips from people who have seen Terri, not Kyron.

Here is a good excerpt on what is going on with LE on their end, regarding the tip information flowthrough.

McCain says he’s glad the tip line is working so well because it has gotten so many. But tipsters say one improvement could be a recording or e-mail telling them what to expect.

“Just to confirm that your tip was looked into so that you don’t just sit here wondering if you really saw him or not and if they really looked into it or if they just passed over it,” said Robbins.

According to the sheriff’s office, just because calls aren’t returned doesn’t mean they’re ignored. Each tip is logged, entered into a computer, cataloged and prioritized. Some calls are duplicates and others have already been ruled out. While others don’t fit what investigators already know.

As for Robbins’ sighting in Goldendale: “In one way I hope it was him because he was alive and well and happy and in the other way, I hope it wasn’t him because if it was he could be anywhere by now,” she said.

The sheriff’s office says all tips are saved so if one doesn’t match now, a computer will catch it if there’s another like it later.

There are tips the sheriff’s office says it doesn’t want, however.

Those are people who say they got a tip and to call them back but leave no specifics. Also, the sheriff’s office doesn’t want people to call and give their opinion, ramble about their gut feelings or want a personal update from detectives.

EXACTLY!!!
Opinions, theories and gut feelings don't mean diddly to them. They have enough of those on their own. However, they can't give updates to curious sleuthers, so best not to even ask.
Anyone who thinks they saw a missing child should call the tip line and give a description of the child they saw and the person(s) with the child or a vehicle, if possible. They are happy to follow up, and they don't get angry when it doesn't pan out... disappointed maybe, but not angry.

I agree, Clu. If someone was hiding him from Kaine and Desiree, they would not hang around that area, they would be in another part of the country. And I would think that LE would be getting names and addresses of family members and checking them out as well.
Hiding in plain sight might work for an adult who is running from the law, but not for a missing child. People pay too much attention when it's a child missing.

I was going based on who he was standing next to for comparison.

He's built like my husband, tall and lanky. Whatever his actual height is, I don't know, though it would be cool to actually know for sure.

Skinny legs, narrow build. Not thin, but he's built like a thoroughbred, not a quarterhorse.

Well, that was my thinking too, until MCSO called me back 3 times. So either they don't mind spinning their wheels (which I find hard to imagine) or they couldn't rule it out either.

And he wasn't with his parents. The woman was not DY or TH. And it wasn't out and about in public, it was an extremely obscure, rural location where most folks would be so engrossed at what was going on they wouldn't have noticed. *I* would not have noticed, were it not for the boy's interaction with my son, and my susbsequent irritation at the woman with him.

This was less than 24 hours after he was reported missing, most people had been at the event since sun up, and are not the type to stay up to watch the 11 pm news.

Besides which, the people with the boy did not do what people came to the event to do, they were there for a very short time, tried to be as inconspicuous as possible, and left before the main event.

That's just the tip of the iceberg of suspicious behavior.

All of which does not mean I saw Kyron. But it appears MCSO couldn't rule it out either.
