Possible NEW Suspects In JonBenet Ramsey Case?

OMG! You people make me laugh so hard.. :floorlaugh:

Glad I make someone laugh. My husband doesn't think I am all that funny. Then again, neither is he. At least I can still receive transmissions from the Mother Ship if I wear my metal retainer.
After I die, I plan to be just as annoying from the Other Side as I am here.

Well, you like Sam Peckinpah and the Wild Bunch, you can't be all bad!

In reality I have asked others, you were the first to actually answer. Thank you.

SuperDave = "I would. I challenge the assertion that some handwriting experts said Patsy didn't write the note. NONE of the experts ever said that, not even the ones John hired. Thank you."

http://www.bartbaggett.net/ I think SD was referring to reputable handwriting analysts - not a marketing guru.

The Ramsey's also took a lie detector test - I forget the guy's name, but I know he did something with aliens and worked a lot for the Enquirer.

Carnes... I always wondered how much she was paid - no other explanation makes sense - except glaring stupidity.

Well, you like Sam Peckinpah and the Wild Bunch, you can't be all bad!

According to some IDIs, I'm the devil incarnate! But I get you.

In reality I have asked others, you were the first to actually answer. Thank you.

Hmm. That's odd. Well, don't let it upset you. Folks around here can be slow to warm up to a new person.

Yeah, that IS what I meant.

The Ramsey's also took a lie detector test - I forget the guy's name, but I know he did something with aliens and worked a lot for the Enquirer.

Ed Gelb. And boy, could I talk to you about THAT!

Carnes... I always wondered how much she was paid - no other explanation makes sense - except glaring stupidity.

I think glaring ignorance would be more accurate. And even then, Hoffman made no attempt to present any evidence or argue his own case.

Yeah, that IS what I meant.

Ed Gelb. And boy, could I talk to you about THAT!

I think glaring ignorance would be more accurate. And even then, Hoffman made no attempt to present any evidence or argue his own case.

Right! Gelb. I remember the press conference. Tell me more! Didn't PR have to take the test twice because it was inconclusive? They didn't trust the FBI. Yeah, I woiuldn't either if I were guilty. And Hoffman....may he rest in peace...what a piece of work. He didn't show up, right? Vertigo or something?

LMAO! Ed Gelb, as I live and breath... Below are some very good links with information on this cheese ball...

This link was the best by far. Gives excellent info on all of the Rs Polygraph tests. As icing on the cake, we learn far more about the crack pot that administered the test... A must read for those that havent already and/or those that need a recap.....

Questions asked in polygraph tests of John and Patsy Ramsey

Following are the questions that polygraph expert Ed Gelb asked John and Patsy Ramsey in several sessions between May 6 and May 17. The Ramseys were asked the same series 1 and series 2 questions. Patsy Ramsey only was asked the series 3 questions, which regard the ransom note. The Ramseys answered "No" to all questions.
Series 1:
1. Did you inflict any of the injuries that caused the death of JonBenét?
2. Regarding JonBenét, did you inflict any of the injuries that caused her death?
3. Were those injuries that resulted in JonBenét's death inflicted by you?
Series 2:
1. Do you know for sure who killed JonBenét?
2. Regarding JonBenét, do you know for sure who killed her?
3. Are you concealing the identity of the person who killed JonBenét?
Series 3 (Patsy Ramsey only):
1. Did you write the ransom note that was found in your house?
2. Regarding that ransom note, did you write it?
3. Is that your handwriting on the ransom note found in your house?

And I thought your answer was going to be because he has aspirations of being an Author on something he eventually is going to be wearing a Clownsuit about. I don't worry, though, cause nobody going to publish his book on this subject.

Well, he seems like he has a lot of knowledge about the case, and along with whaleshark, chris and a few others, even though we strongly disagree about the case we have had mostly civil and polite discussions.

For 14 years I also thought it very likely the Ramsey's were involved, and I still do not entirely rule them out. But the new DNA results, my overall review of the evidence and these new suspects have shifted me from "Probably Ramsey's" to "Probably Intruder".

Testimony: Mitchell a longtime pedophile

By Stephen Hunt

Jurors heard evidence Friday that Brian David Mitchell — on trial for kidnapping and sexually assaulting the then-14-year-old Elizabeth Smart in 2002 — is a longtime pedophile with a history of using religion to justify his crimes.

LouRee Gayler testified she was between 12 and 14 years old when Mitchell, her stepfather, would show her pictures of nude women while they prayed alongside her mother, Wanda Barzee.

“I’d open, and then close, my eyes,” said Gayler, who testified Mitchell would lay the pictures on the bed, then nudge her to make her look. “I felt it was wrong.”

And when Mitchell came to her room to say good night, Gayler said, “He’d caress me way too much. His hugs were too long. He’d brush up against my breasts.” At other times he would kiss her on the lips, despite her requests to stop, or thrust his pelvis at her.

Mitchell and Barzee took no pains to hide their sexual relations from Gayler, and Barzee often discussed her sex life with the girl.

“Religion was used as an excuse for their behavior,” Gayler said. “They could treat anybody anyway they wanted and repent so they didn’t have to answer to their wrong doings.”

Gayler, now in her 30s, also provided testimony supporting the prosecution claim that Mitchell is a master manipulator — not an insane religious zealot as his defense asserts.

“He’d play games … with the people closest to him — mind games to get more dominance,” Gayler testified. “Power was important to Brian. He could never get enough.”

[Edited - Mitchell got mad after watching a scene in the movie GOONIES the kids were watching on TV]

Soon after, her parents served Gayler her beloved pet rabbit, Peaches, for dinner, after telling her it was chicken. She found out she had eaten her pet when she couldn’t find Peaches the next morning.

“Wanda started laughing hysterically and said that I ate her for dinner,” Gayler said, adding that Mitchell was in a nearby room “watching with glee.”

TESTIMONY OF ELIZABETH SMART

Viti: On July 23 what occurred?

Smart: He prepared to go down to Salt Lake and go and kidnap my cousin.

Viti: in the general vicinity, where did your cousin live at that time?

Smart: She lived very, very close to the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Viti: What preparations did you observe him making before he left that day?

Smart: I was watching him pack the green bags that he had used when he had kidnapped me.

Viti: What did you see him pack into the green bags?

Smart: I saw him pack into the green bags some ... a change of clothing, different from his robes. I saw him pack duct tape. I saw him pack a knife. I saw him pack ... I recall him packing some food and water.

Viti: Ms. Smart, can you describe the duct tape that you saw him put in the bag?

Smart: It was on a cardboard cylinder like the kind in the middle of a roll of toilet paper and he wrapped it around it.

Viti: Why?

Smart: He said it was to save on weight and room.

[AK = JonBenet had duct tape on her mouth, and Elizabeth also testified that Mitchell told her if she made noise he would "duct tape my mouth shut."]

Viti: Look at government Exhibit 35. Do you recognize it?

Smart: Yes. It’s duct tape around a cardboard cylinder.

Viti: Does that look like the duct tape he wrapped around the cardboard cylinder on July 23?

Smart: Yes.

Viti: May we publish it?

Judge Kimball: You may.

Viti: Ms. Smart, can you describe the clothing you saw him pack in the backpack?

Smart: It was dark clothing, the same he used to kidnap me in, a stocking cap, dark shirt, dark sweats.

[AK = The attacker of JonBenet's dance school classmate "Amy" also wore dark clothes and a cap, and dark fibers were found on JonBenet near her vagina and on her thighs. The attack on "Amy" happened 9/14/97; Mitchell and Barzee record returning to Utah on 9/21/97.
]

Viti: What did he tell you?

Smart: He said he had snuck around the back. There was a window that was slightly open, he pulled it and opened it a little bit more.

There was a screen and he cut the screen. On the other side of the screen there were blinds that were down. He started to push the blinds so he could get in the room and on the window sill on the other sides of the blinds, there were small figurines or books. There were small objects on the other side of he blinds, so when he pushed, they fell off and that scared him so he stopped for a moment, but when he heard nothing, he thought all the objects had fallen already so he pushed again and a lot of objects had fallen off and he heard someone running down the hallway and the lights had come on and a voice yelled “Jessica.”

Viti: What did he do at that time?

Smart: He said he had already started running away from that house.

Viti: When he returned on the 24th, what was he wearing?

Smart: Um, he was wearing the dark clothing.

Viti: What was he wearing on his feet?

Smart: Hiking boots.

[AK = Sole prints from a Hi Tec hiking boot were found in the Ramsey basement.]

Viti: Did he tell you how he was able to reach the window at the Wrights’ home?

Smart: He said he had taken a chair and put it up against the outside of the home.

[AK = A suitcase, with JonBenet's bedding and a Dr. Suess book, was found under the basement window. Detective Lou Smit thought an intruder had put it there to exit through the window. This shows that both BDM and a possible intruder at the Ramsey home used found objects to boost entry/exit through an unlocked window. It also IMO shows a possible intent to transport the child.]

suitca10.jpg

Viti: Please put up government exhibit 16. Do you recognize it?

Smart: Yes.

Viti: What do you recognize it to be?

Smart: A picture of the outside of our kitchen window with a chair up alongside it.

Viti: In June 2002, was that where it was placed usually?

Smart: No.

Viti: Where did that chair belong?

Smart: Just above, as you walk out the kitchen door, there’s a smaller patio, and the chair belongs up on the patio.

Viti: Thank you. Ms. Smart, I’d like to turn your attention to on or about ... withdrawn. Did he ever give you a reason why he chose the 23rd and 24th to kidnap Olivia?

Smart: He talked about the 24th because it was a holiday and he talked about it just being a holiday. They would be not as quick to respond.

Viti: I’m sorry, who wouldn’t be?

Smart: The public.

[AK = I wonder if BDM went the "police", or the public in general. As Doug Oswell noted, JonBenet was killed on a holiday, Christmas night.]

Viti: What holiday is that, for those who might not know?

Smart: It’s the 24th of July. It’s a Utah holiday, Pioneer Day.

Again, I ask, where is the proof that Mitchell and Barzee were in Boulder on December 25-26, 1996?

The duct tape on JBR's mouth was placed after she was dead, according to experts. I don't have my books or notes handy, but I remember this.

I totally get thinking outside the box, but in this case, I think you are really reaching. Until I see conclusive proof that Mitchell and Barzee were in Boulder or even in Colorado on December 25-26, 1996, they aren't even on my list of the most remote suspects. In fact, I have the Boogeyman in front of Mitchell and Barzee on my list of suspects. Only because I don't think the Boogeyman's alibi can be accurately checked without implicating him in another crime. Remember John Mark Karr? He said he was in Boulder on that fateful day and night. But, he wasn't. He was in Georgia.

I personally think the Smarts copied, in many ways, the JBR murder. Even to this day I feel like there's a lot more to the ES kidnapping than we will ever know.

The picture of the chair near the Smart's window showed up, via Ed Smart, AFTER Amy's alleged intruder.

The screen in the Smart's house was cut from the inside.

ES sister described a totally different man than BDM that morning and the Smarts, at first, said BDM had a gun- later, a knife.

I want to know why no one has ever heard Ed Smart's 911 call.

There was no ONE shred of evidence that BDM had been in the Smart's house....not even a fiber.

Ed, like John, calls friends over before calling the police.

And weirdest of all....Elizabeth Smart's actions.

Have you read the Vanity Fair articl from about 12 years ago? Very infomative.

Personally, I think it was an inside job. I believe it was BR or JR & was staged the way it was bc molestation was an ongoing thing with JBR. She had alot of yeast infections, according to her pediatrician, plus the ME found a torn hymen that was almost non existent. I've thought since the beginning JBR's murderer is her brother. I still feel that way. I think he was jealous.

There's no possible way anybody came in through or out of that basemment window due the fact that the spider web would have been broken.

SPIDER WEB

John Ramsey had presented his own theory on the murder of his daughter to all who would listen. He pointed to the location of a blue suitcase under the basement window and told of finding the window open when he searched the basement on the morning of the alleged kidnapping. He theorized that the murderer had made his entrance and escape through the window. However, as noted by detectives arriving early on the morning of December 26, an intact spider web covered the grate which blocked off the window. In order to enter or exit the window, the grate would have had to have been removed.

This grate was photographed and collected for evidence. Interior dusting of the window for fingerprints was done by crime scene investigators and no latent prints were found. In May, the photos were submitted to Brent Opell, Professor of Biology at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksbury, Virginia. Prof. Opell reported that the web was that of the Agelenidae, known as a funnel-web spider. The web was reasonably intact and extending through the grating, suggesting that the grating had not been disturbed since the spider constructed its web. According to Prof. Opell, these types of spiders would cease constructing webs no later than early November, thus indicating that no one had entered that window well past this early November deadline. The theory that anyone could have entered the Ramsey residence through this broken window was totally discounted by this simple evidence of nature.

If you think that this was done by patsy or john or even burke or a combination do you think that when john ramsey dies that burke will come forword and tell the story of what happened if you believe it was the parents .

No, but I so believe there is one other person who knows, but will probably keep the secret until his death - or just prior to.

John would not have stayed with Patsy if she did this.

Patsy would not have stayed with John if he did this.

John and Patsy would only have stayed together and covered for Burke if he did it - and they would take the secret to the grave.

Look at Cindy and George Anthony - I wonder if there would ever have been a trial if Cindy had found Caylee's body and knew Casey did the deed. Given time to think about it, I think they would have covered it up.

The lip prints were not parted, I think that was why they thought she was dead when the duct tape was applied. I recently read the Vanity Fair article again - so much information given to the police that morning changed over time. So much indicated corruption over time. So much still unanswered and muddled by bogus chronicling on the Internet. Like Steve Thomas said, save for a confession, this case will probably never be solved.

If Burke held a secret that could put Patsy in John in prison, why did they let him be interviewed by police three times, and all three times, they did NOT insist that they be present in the room (though they could have) and they did NOT insist that Burke's attorney be in the room (though that was their right and Burke's right)?

When Patsy and John when interviewed, they insisted both their attorney and investigator be present in the room.

.

I don't really believe BDI. But there is another scenario in which PR/JR stay together - they both were involved. In that case, they had to stay together. Among other reasons, husbands and wives can't be compelled to testify against each other. Some states forbid it, some allow it, but none, as far as I know, compel it.
