Possible Vandalism/Message To Daddy on Wall of Hope

I've stayed away from this thread for 24-hrs, as my opinions have run their course and I don't feel I have anything new to say. But I don't see anything threatening in this message. I think it was written with good intentions. Many people feel that Kyron is "with the angels" and the appearance of the wall does look like a memorial.

But what I really don't get is why anyone would think Terri or anyone on her "side" would write it, as to me, it reads as though the writer clearly is implicating Terri as the one who was hurting Kyron. I think it was probably written by someone who thinks that Terri killed Kyron and this person is writing out their thoughts, not meaning to be hurtful, but perhaps not very tactfully. Anyone might refer to a child as "special" i.e. "Special K."

I have also read that Terri had a certificate or training to work with 'special' kids or special education children. I have also read that it is possible that Kyron had special needs, I have switched my opinion that this 'special K' name is one of endearment and in fact may be a sarcastically lame attempt at black humor.

Perhaps Terri referred to Kyron as "Special K" but not in the way I would have liked to hear it. If that's the case, may she rot faster than physics will allow.

So are you saying the "she" being referred to is the villain and your suspicion is that villain is DY? TYIA

It helps to remember I love love love occam's razor (even though I think there's an exception that proves every rule!).

The She the masses think responsible for the crime is Terri. I'm not so sure. Others have been tossing out other possibilities for the she... I should have just said it's Terri, but then I would have felt bound to explain, and I was trying not to. Yes, I think the person writing the note thinks Terri is the She.

Communication fail. My bad. :)

In any case, I am very surprised that LE does not have cameras in place at this wall, if they don't. It would seem to me to be a sensible place to have them.

IMO, the person who did this is just another person who thinks they have all the answers the rest of us don't.

What they did was clueless, but not illegal.

I'd think stuff like this is to be expected :(

It should be illegal, because it is morally wrong...argh, just sick. Lets rub salt in the wound of victims, good grief.

Not disagreeing with you Calliope, just wish we didn't have to be expected to deal with sickos like this :(

doesn't a criminal always go back to the scene of a crime?
just wondering if it is from the perp?

I am not sure that the intent of this was to hurt Kaine. I think it may have been an attempt to point the finger at Terri. The scrawler may have given in to an impulse to leave their "mark" on this site. It was most likely addressed to Kaine as he is the parent who visits this wall frequently. I believe that the writing on this banner was deliberately slopily scribbled to make it appear childish. The mixture of upper and lower case printing seems to me another deliberate act. The wording of this seemed to be sort of hit or miss. The "cheeky smile" that was drawn made me immediately think of Casey. The "kisses" ending is just too teen-age sweet to come from a male.

This is all IMO. I am a lefty, with ADD/OCD, and I have learned to accept my own way of "merry-go-round-roller-coaster" thinking. I enjoy reading all the different sleuthing posted here. Many times I start out really certain of something, then I read what someone says here, and agree with them, only to be turned back by another blogger with a more sensible solution.

In agreement with everyone who mentioned the area must be under video survellance?!? Surely the police know exactly who did this because they have it on film, right? They probably won't say a word about it because 'it's part of an ongoing investigation.' This is written with pleading intent... Am not as worried about this horrible note as I am that this area is not being taped 24/7...yikes.

Got here late and have read the "note" ....................ugh. awful. tacky.

After reading lots and lots of "comments" on the web from people who get all bent out of shape over the "she" that they think is the perp ....it really seems like this is someone trying to tell the world that they think she is the perp....and some of the comments (not here by a long shot) on the web have really been horrific....I mean really bad even on the media websites...I just wonder if it is anger because they want the "she" nailed and nailed quickly....the note looks like a male wrote it but what do I know,lol....it is just awful that these parents have to read this stuff....as if they are not suffering enough....their grief has to be horrific and crapola like this is not helping them any.:furious:

Wouldn't that just be dandy if the school had recently installed a brand new, shiny security camera aimed right at that banner?

Gosh, I sure hope NOT!

:( Why not? I hope it is left up, as long as Kyron is still missing...

I don't see the note looking like it has to be a male and I don't see it has to be a female I think the note was written to purposefully look like a child had written it. IMO the person who wrote it was trying to get their 15 minutes of fame and from all the hoopla that it has caused their getting it, to bad they have to enjoy it all by them selves, or with a few friends that were in on it.

Oh Jesus, have mercy!

This is just...sad..and hurtful. Love is growing cold in this world.

The wording and concept of this message was probably written by a teenager. We all know that every town and city has their fair share of immature kids that run around spraying graffiti just to horrify the adults. It means nothing.

Sorry - maybe I wasn't being clear...just the smiley and the word kisses by someone other than who wrote the rest of the note.

I agree. I think the letter was written by a teenage boy.

I have 3 boys and it does look like the way they write.

The word kisses and the smiley was done by a teenage girl. IMO

From another article on the same subject:

Although a man known to have mental health issues was found in the area, he was questioned by authorities and denied vandalizing the fence. He indicated, however, that he wanted to search for Kyron himself.

A man known to have mental health issues? Outside the school where Kyron went missing? Have we heard anything about this guy before?

I have not been online at all today until now..

On our way back tonight, we visited the Wall of Hope.. I took pictures as we were amazed at how much the wall has grown and the amount of cards, notes, messages.. ect...

I'm glad I didn't see this article until after we got home from there, as it just gives me a pit feeling in my stomach..=(

That note was removed thank goodness, as we did not see it..

I want to continue to think of the wall as something all about "Kyron"..
I'll post pictures to my photobucket tomorrow as it was truly amazing to see how much the wall has grown!! =)
