Post Verdict -Working Out The Unresolved Questions

I guess it was over in Sidebar 17 that I was pursuing C.M. at law for slandering Juan Martinez. She had accused him on network T.V. of lying & withholding evidence. However, let's not leave it there. She also stated that she was disappointed in her own counsel because they hadn't reached for photos & testimony (in California) that would have corroborated her black and blue/bruising claims. She indicated that this was just one of her grievances. Nurmi & Willmott would have had reasons for their inability to procure this evidence; it was not negligence nor indifference. Why didn't the defendant herself persuade Angela to offer substantiation? She had family visits. It didn't help that she called her sister "stupid", of course. I didn't see Angela in court after that came out. But C.M.'s mother could have intervened & the family could have located the photos if they exist. Anyway, her slurs against counsel definitely reflected upon them in the exercise of their profession injuriously and were therefor slanderous. I do think WS are correct in suspecting the attorneys corrected some of the highly questionable material on C.M.'s website. "Artist & Survivor" my left elbow. She sits convicted of premeditated aggravated capital murder, verdict of a jury of her peers. That does not = a judgment of survivor, that = judgment aggressive, intentional killer, cruelest kind. Without justification, a term at law.

Wasn't the Tootsie reference in her journal on a different date when she is talking about them being in the tub together. It was mentioned on May 10th but there is no proof it did not happen again on the 4th of June. I have not seen any pictures from June 4th that had a Tootsie Pop in them. Plus the pictures were on the disk from TA's camera.

I understand a sucker stick is visible in one of the down-there pics (I haven't studied it specifically but I have a good pic or two if I absolutely have to), and I think she testified that sucker/pop rocks only happened once and the only implement involved on June 4th is the rope, according to her. She also testified she took the shaving pic of him in January, I'm coming closer to believing all the nudies were taken the same time as the shaving pic.

Do we have any pics of her in January '08 that we know for sure that's when they were taken?

No knock on ALaV, who has helped many suffering from sad & sordid domestic abuse, but I'm sorry she ever met our convicted murderer. ALaV's theories, analysis & interviews were certainly the predicate for Arias advertising herself as a survivor, even a proud survivor. Whereas, in reality she is a much bloodied perpetrator. Either she is now thoroughly deluded as to who she is and what she did or she is laughing up her striped sleeve at the fools who believe her as victim in the biggest con she has yet put over. As to Nurmi's take on her participation in Relations Arias-Alexander, I doubt that his portrait of his client as an abused sex object depended on any information from ALaV. Based on his past case load, it is doubtless a standard line of defense in female on male crimes with a sexual angle. However, Arias would have discounted it as just that, a criminal defense and not bought into as she has, without ALaV's enormous input. So, it is disastrous that this murderer ever met the abuse specialist. We are now subjected to this flamboyant victim posture from the convict every time she surfaces in or out of court in the many ways of media. When she holds up those self-designed Survivor shirts, I am (unwillingly) a bull looking at the red flag.

Those pictures are third hand poor quality. They are pictures of pictures of thumbnail pictures that were deleted off his camera that went through a number of washing and rinsing cycles in his washer so unless it was testified to in court I wouldn't put much credibility in what people believe they see in photos of such poor quality. All Travis' friends and roommates described JA as blond so it was highly unlikely she was ever a brunette when she was in Mesa. JA's reasoning for claiming she changed her hair color before she left Mesa was because they found a brown hair that belonged to her at the crime scene. jmo

Also, the car rental guy and Ryan Burns claimed she was a blonde before the murder.

IMO~ She died her hair in Salinas, and I don't why Juan didn't take that one home because he was hinting at it.

Maybe she used rinses a lot, I don't know, we see pics of her in May with a dog with streaky brown hair, in that ski photo with a hood on (I have no idea when that was) she has brown hair, in the twitter pic it's brownish (no clue when that was either) but she did like brown hair. She may have shuffled between brown and blonde depending on her mood and funds, too hard to tell from the evidence we have available to us.

BTW - I totally agree about the poor quality of the pics Lambchop, we can't gain any absolutes in studying them, I'm sure first hand there is a great deal of clarification where all the pics are involved. I want them, badly. lol

This is listed as an objection to a request, but I can't seem to find the original request.

Has the fallout been so bad that ALV is no longer willing to offer her services to the defense and thus requires a court order to do so? Her testimony appears to have been pivotal in swaying at least some of the jurors against the DP.

Wish I knew who filed the original request and what is in the written objection.

LOL. I don't think you have anything to worry about, Tuba. I would not believe ALV will want to have anything to do with JM for a long time. One of the things I had a hard time with in ALV's testimony was that she did not appear to think there was anything wrong with the overkill of TA by JA. The crime scene in no way matches the type of abusive relationship JA claims to have had with TA if it were even true. Not in a million years. jmo

BBM~ IMO, Juan filed the objection for possible perjury when she lied about how many abused men she testified for. I bet JSS just gave her the boots... Then the death threat, ER visit. :eyeroll:

I feel like ALV felt like she schooled JM. I think she took shots at him, Time out comments and such to get back at him for how she felt he treated CMJA. I think that given the chance she would come back. She feels that she knows the real JA and that she is a victim. I almost can not even type that with a straight face.

I was happy to hear that JVM put the black mail together in her book. I believe that is the only reason she taped him.

I took two close ups of areas near roads but it doesn't seem easily accessible. I can't tell if the ground is charred, tarry or what, it's just so dark.

Those look like irrigation circles...they use them here in Texas, too.
